Abstract
Un procedimiento para fabricar productos largos de acero prevé comenzar a partir de un paso de colada continua (1) con reduccion del nucleo líquido, seguido por calentamiento por induccion (2) sin interrupcion hasta el final de un paso de laminacion (4) en una pluralidad de cajas. Los desbastes cuadrados o lingotes (10) sometidos a un procesamiento como éste tienen un espesor inicial en el rango entre 120 y 400 mm. y un alto pasaje de ôflujo de masaö en la unidad de tiempo a la salida de la colada continua, así como también una temperatura promedio en la seccion transversal que es mayor que la temperatura de la superficie, siendo en el nucleo o en la region central interior mayor en 100sC que en la superficie, es decir, de aprox. 1200sC. También se describe una planta para llevar a cabo un procedimiento como éste.
