Abstract
PROCESSO PARA FABRICAR CHAPAS DE AçO, E, USINA PARA FABRICAR CHAPAS DE AçO. São descritos um processo e a usina relacionada para fabricar chapas de aço com espessura < 100 e com largura de até 4.000 mm de uma etapa de lingotamento contínuo (1) de placas (10), compreendendo uma etapa de redução do núcleo líquido, sem interrupção, até o final da etapa de laminação de acabamento (3), com altas razões de redução em pelo menos uma cadeira. A temperatura média quando entra na etapa de laminação é 1.250 <198>C, mas pode ser reduzida para aço não ligado ou até de baixa liga.
