Abstract

Un proceso para la electrodeposición de un metal desde una solución, y particularmente para la electrodeposición de cobre metal, un electrodo para usar en el mismo, y un método para producir el electrodo. El electrodo puede tener recubrimiento electrocatalítico que consiste de constituyentes de óxido de paladio y rutenio o constituyentes de óxido de rutenio y rodio. El electrodo puede ser un electrodo multicapa con un miembro de sustrato de plomo o un miembro de malla metálica rectificadora que está recubierto con el recubrimiento catalítico.
