Abstract

Un procedimiento para la elaboracion de tereftalato de polietileno modificado con unidades de ácido o-ftálico que impida las elevadas pérdidas de ácido ftálico durante la esterificacion y la policondensacion, manteniendo las propiedades de aplicacion convenientes condicionadas por el ácido ftálico. De acuerdo con la presente, durante la esterificacion y/o policondensacion se agrega un precondensado de anhídrido ftálico y etilenglicol elaborado sin catálisis, en el que el etilenglicol se incorpora con un exceso molar de 2 a 3, 5 con respecto al anhídrido ftálico.
