Abstract

Una terminal de ferrocarril para cargar y/o descargar vagones de ferrocarril con contenedores comprende una seccion de vía y por lo menos unaplataforma de carga y/o descarga. Preferentemente se prevé una plataforma de carga y/o descargade ambos lados. La plataforma de carga y/o descarga seencuentra a lo largo y adyacente de dicha seccion de vía y que está a un nivel más elevado que dicha seccion de vía. Soportes se encuentran dispuestos en cadalado del sector de vías,en los que se sostiene la superestructura que comprende la superficie de carga de los vagones de ferrocarril a cargar y/o descargar, demanera que la superficie de carga de dichos vagones de ferrocarril se mantiene fija a una altura predeterminada durante la carga y/o descarga. En este caso,los vagones de ferrocarril son provistos preferentemente de medios de ajuste, a fin de, poder sostener los vagones de ferrocarril y poder levantarlos de lossoportes. Ventajosamente, existe una conexion esencialmente plana entre la superficie de carga y las respectivas plataformas. La plataforma de cargatendrá una pendiente descendente hacia el sector de vías, mientras que la plataforma de descarga tendrá una pendiente descendente alejándose de las vías.
