Abstract
Se revela un cartucho que posee una rueda codificadora para codificar información acerca de las características del cartucho de suministro para unamáquina electrofotográfica, el cartucho consta de un colector para contener una cantidadinic ial de toner. Se monta un vástago para la rotación en dichocolector y un agitador o paleta de modo tal que cuando el vástago rota, la paleta rota e ingresa y sale el toner. Se monta una única rueda codificadoraen el vástago, fuera delcolector, la rueda codificadora se ubica de manera que posibilita la acción con el lector de la rueda codificadora cuando elcartucho está montado en su posición en la máquina electrofotográfica. Un medio drive, y una cupla flexible conectael drive a l vástago para efectuar larotación del mismo. La rueda codificadora está configurada para indica, junto con dicho lector de código de rueda, un componente de resistencia almovimiento de la paleta a través de una parte de dicho colectorque posee el toner para indicar la cantidad de toner que queda en dicho colector. Otrasporciones de la rueda, en una parte de la misma que enfrenta al lector durante una velocidad de rotación sustancialmente constante de la misma. Llevainformaciónadicional del cartucho para permitir la operación correcta de la máquina así como también una mayor eficiencia.
