Abstract

Un neumático de elevada curvatura transversal, en particular para el montaje en las ruedas delanteras de un vehículo de dos ruedas, en donde lacurvatura de cinturón comprende por lo menos una capa de cordones inextensibles a un ángulosubstanc ialmente cero con respecto al plano ecuatorial delneumático y por lo menos una capa subyacente que comprende elementos de refuerzo en una dirección transversal con respecto a dicho plano ecuatorial.Los cordones a cero grados sonpreferentemen te metálicos, del tipo de alto alargamiento, hechos de acero de alto contenido de carbono. La densidad dedistribución de dichos cordones aumenta de una manera contínua desde el centro del cinturón a los extremos del cinturón demanera que el pr oducto de la masade las espiras de cordones dispuestas en una porción de valor unitario dado multiplicado por el cuadrado de la distancia entre el centro de dicha porcióny el eje de rotación del neumático tiene un valorsubstancialmente constante a lo largo de toda la extensión axial del cinturón.
