Abstract

PURPOSE: To control the eutectic amount of abrasive grains with respect to a plating metal and manufacture a grindstone corresponding to the grinding performance, by making the abrasive grains hydrophilic, and uniformly dispersing them in a plating bath.
CONSTITUTION: Minute abrasive grains, the order of 3W30μ in diameter, of diamond, cubic system boron nitride, silicon carbide or the like are stirred in a cationic surface active agent in order to make them hydrophilic. Said abrasive grains are dispersed into a plating bath of nickel, copper or the like and depoisited on the cathode alloy by electrolysis simultaneously with the metal.
