Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a thin and even grind stone by an eutectoid of a metal matrix and fine grits through a chemical plating after they are evenly dispersed in a plating bath.
CONSTITUTION: A bath composition of nickel chloride 30g/l, sodium hypophosphite 10g/l, sodium acetate 10g/l and a diamond grit liquid 10W50cc/l is agitated thoroughly to chemically plate a stainless matrix normally pretreated with a pH4W6 at 70W95°C. A better chemical nickel plating is obtained with limited variance at a thickness of 10W50μ. Thus, a direct chemical plating is possible without any ground plating even when material such as stainless steel is used.
