Abstract

Prikazan je postopek za proizvodnjo optično aktivnega izomera 2(tetrahidropiran-2-iloksi)-1-propanola ki obsega reakcijo optično aktivnega izomera 1-aciloksi-2-propanola kjer je R substituirana ali nesubstituirana arilna skupina, s 3,4-dihidro-2H-piranom do optično aktivnega izomera 1-aciloksi-2-(tetrahidropiran-2-iloksi) propana kjer ima R zgoraj navedeni pomen, ki je tudi nova spojina, in s hidrolizo spojine (III) za odstranitev acilne skupine. Optično aktivni izomer 2-(tetrahidropiran-2-iloksi)-1-propanola(I) je intermediat za sintezo piridobenzoksazdinskih derivatov, koristnih kot sintetična antibakterijska sredstva, zlasti optično aktivnega izomera ofloksacina.
