Abstract

電力変換装置(1)は、商用電源(110)から供給される交流電流を整流する整流部(130)と、整流部(130)によって整流された整流電流を平滑化するコンデンサ(210)と、コンデンサ(210)から出力される電流を駆動電流に変換して負荷へ供給するインバータ(310)と、コンデンサ(210)に流出入するリプル電流を検出もしくは算出し、検出もしくは算出したリプル電流に基づいてコンデンサ(210)の寿命を推定し、推定した推定寿命が第1閾値以下である場合、推定寿命が第1閾値を上回るようにインバータ(310)の動作を制御する制御部(400)とを備える。

Description

電力変換装置、モータ駆動装置及び冷凍サイクル適用機器
 本開示は、交流電力を所望の駆動電力に変換する電力変換装置、モータ駆動装置及び冷凍サイクル適用機器に関する。
 空気調和機などの負荷に駆動電力を供給する電力変換装置において、交流電源から供給される交流電力は、整流部であるダイオードスタックで整流され、直流電力に変換されて平滑部のコンデンサで保持される。負荷に駆動電力を供給する際には、複数のスイッチング素子を備えるインバータが動作する。インバータのスイッチング素子がスイッチング動作を行うと、平滑部のコンデンサには、振幅値が変動するリプル電流が流れる。平滑部のコンデンサに流れるリプル電流の振幅値の変動幅が大きい程、平滑コンデンサの経年劣化が加速するという問題が生じる。
 上記の問題に対して、平滑部のコンデンサの容量を大きくすることでリプル電流の振幅値の変動幅を抑制する手法、リプル電流の振幅値の変動に対して劣化耐量の大きいコンデンサを使用する手法などが考えられている。しかしながら、これらの手法を用いると、コンデンサ部品のコストが高くなり、装置が大型化してしまうという別の問題が生じる。これらの問題に対し、下記特許文献1には、インバータに対するスイッチング制御を工夫することで、平滑部のコンデンサとして低容量のものを使用可能にする技術が開示されている。

 平滑部のコンデンサは、様々な要因によって劣化が急速に進行することがある。平滑部のコンデンサの劣化が急速に進行すると、平滑部のコンデンサの保証寿命を確保できないという問題が生じる。平滑部のコンデンサの劣化が急速に進行すると、装置が突然に停止することがある。このような問題は、上記の従来技術では想定されていない。このため、平滑部のコンデンサの劣化の進行に適切に対処できる技術が求められている。
 本開示は、上記に鑑みてなされたものであって、平滑部のコンデンサの劣化の進行に適切に対処できる電力変換装置を得ることを目的とする。
 上述した課題を解決し、目的を達成するため、本開示に係る電力変換装置は、商用電源から供給される交流電流を整流する整流部と、コンデンサと、インバータと、制御部とを備える。整流部は、商用電源から供給される交流電流を整流する。コンデンサは、整流部によって整流された整流電流を平滑化する。インバータは、コンデンサから出力される電流を駆動電流に変換して負荷へ供給する。制御部は、コンデンサに流出入するリプル電流を検出もしくは算出し、検出もしくは算出したリプル電流に基づいてコンデンサの寿命を推定し、推定した推定寿命が第1閾値以下である場合、推定寿命が第1閾値を上回るようにインバータの動作を制御する。
 本開示に係る電力変換装置によれば、平滑部のコンデンサの劣化の進行に適切に対処できるという効果を奏する。

 以下に添付図面を参照し、本開示の実施の形態に係る電力変換装置、モータ駆動装置及び冷凍サイクル適用機器について詳細に説明する。
実施の形態1.
 図1は、実施の形態1に係る電力変換装置1の構成例を示す図である。電力変換装置1は、商用電源110及び圧縮機315に接続される。電力変換装置1は、商用電源110から供給される電源電圧による第1の交流電力を所望の振幅及び位相を有する第2の交流電力に変換し、圧縮機315に供給する。商用電源110は交流電源の一例であり、圧縮機315は実施の形態1で言う負荷の一例である。圧縮機315には、モータ314が搭載されている。電力変換装置1と、圧縮機315が備えるモータ314とによって、モータ駆動装置2が構成される。
 リアクトル120は、商用電源110と整流部130との間に接続される。整流部130は、整流素子131~134によって構成されるブリッジ回路を有し、商用電源110から供給される交流電流を整流して出力する。整流部130は、全波整流を行う。
 平滑部200は、整流部130の出力端に接続される。平滑部200は、平滑素子としてコンデンサ210を有する。コンデンサ210は、整流部130によって整流された整流電流を平滑化する。コンデンサ210は、例えば、電解コンデンサ、フィルムコンデンサなどである。コンデンサ210は、整流部130の出力端に接続され、整流部130によって整流された整流電流を平滑化可能な容量を有する。平滑化によりコンデンサ210に発生する電圧は、商用電源110の全波整流波形形状ではなく、商用電源110の周波数に応じた電圧リプルが直流成分に重畳した波形形状となり、大きく脈動しない。電圧リプルの周波数は、商用電源110が単相の場合は電源電圧の周波数の2倍成分となり、商用電源110が三相の場合は6倍成分が主成分となる。商用電源110から供給される電力とインバータ310から出力される電力とが変化しない場合、電圧リプルの振幅は、コンデンサ210の容量によって決まる。例えば、コンデンサ210に発生する電圧リプルの最大値は、電圧リプルの最小値の2倍未満となるような範囲で脈動している。
 電流検出部501は、整流部130から流出する整流電流I1を検出し、検出した整流電流I1の検出値を制御部400に出力する。電流検出部502は、インバータ入力電流I2を検出し、検出したインバータ入力電流I2の検出値を制御部400に出力する。インバータ入力電流I2は、コンデンサ210から出力されてインバータ310に流入する電流である。電流検出部501,502は、コンデンサ210の電力状態を検出する検出部として用いることができる。
 インバータ310は、平滑部200、即ちコンデンサ210の両端に接続される。インバータ310は、スイッチング素子311a~311f、及び還流ダイオード312a~312fを有する。インバータ310は、制御部400の制御によってスイッチング素子311a~311fがオンオフ制御される。この制御によって、インバータ310は、整流部130及び平滑部200から出力される電流を負荷への駆動電流に変換する。即ち、インバータ310は、スイッチング素子311a~311fをオンオフすることで、モータ314に駆動電流を供給する。
 電流検出部313a,313bは、各々、インバータ310から出力される3相のモータ電流のうち1相の電流値を検出し、検出した電流値を制御部400に出力する。制御部400は、インバータ310から出力される3相の電流値のうち2相の電流値を取得することで、インバータ310から出力される残りの1相の電流値を算出することができる。
 圧縮機315に搭載されるモータ314は、インバータ310から供給される交流電力の振幅及び位相に応じて回転し、圧縮動作を行う。圧縮機315が空気調和機などで使用される密閉型圧縮機の場合、圧縮機315の負荷トルクは、定トルク負荷とみなせる場合が多い。
 なお、電力変換装置1において、図1に示す各構成の配置は一例であり、各構成の配置は図1で示される例に限定されない。例えば、リアクトル120は、整流部130の後段に配置されてもよい。また、電力変換装置1は、昇圧部を備えてもよいし、整流部130に昇圧部の機能を持たせるようにしてもよい。以降の説明において、電流検出部313a,313b,501,502の各々を単に「検出部」と称することがある。また、電流検出部313a,313b,501,502で検出された電流値を、単に「検出値」と称することがある。
 制御部400は、電流検出部501で検出された整流電流I1の検出値、及び電流検出部502で検出されたインバータ入力電流I2の検出値を取得する。また、制御部400は、電流検出部313a,313bで検出されたモータ電流の検出値を取得する。制御部400は、各々の検出部によって検出された検出値を用いて、インバータ310の動作、具体的には、インバータ310が有するスイッチング素子311a~311fのオンオフを制御する。制御部400は、モータ314の速度、電圧及び電流の何れかが所望の状態になるように制御を行う。なお、制御部400は、各検出部から取得した全ての検出値を用いなくてもよく、一部の検出値を用いて制御を行うことができる。
 また、制御部400は、整流部130から平滑部200のコンデンサ210に流入する電力の脈動に応じた脈動を含む第2の交流電力がインバータ310から圧縮機315に出力されるようにインバータ310の動作を制御する。平滑部200のコンデンサ210に流入する電力の脈動に応じた脈動とは、例えば、平滑部200のコンデンサ210に流出入する電力の脈動の周波数などによって変動する脈動である。これにより、制御部400は、コンデンサ210に流出入するリプル電流I3を抑制する。
 整流電流I1は、インバータ入力電流I2とリプル電流I3とを併せた電流となる。リプル電流I3は、整流電流I1とインバータ入力電流I2との差分、即ちI1-I2として求めることができる。リプル電流I3は、平滑部200の充電方向を正方向とし、平滑部200の放電方向を負方向とする。即ち、平滑部200には、電流が流入することもあり、電流が流出することもある。或いは、予めシミュレーション等により、脈動電圧ΔVとリプル電流I3との関係を求め、制御部400に脈動電圧ΔVとリプル電流I3とを対応させたテーブルを登録しておくことにより、脈動電圧ΔVから対応するリプル電流I3を上記テーブルを用いて算出してもよい。或いは、平滑部200が接続される電気配線に電流検出部を配置し、当該電流検出部でリプル電流I3を直接検出してもよい。
 図2は、実施の形態1に係る制御部400の機能を実現するためのハードウェア構成の例を示すブロック図である。上述した制御部400の機能及び下述する制御部400の機能の一部又は全部を実現するには、図2に示すように、演算を行うプロセッサ91、プロセッサ91によって読みとられるプログラムが保存されるメモリ92を含む構成とすることができる。
 プロセッサ91は、演算手段の例示である。プロセッサ91は、マイクロプロセッサ、マイクロコンピュータ、CPU(Central Processing Unit)、又はDSP(Digital Signal Processor)と称される演算手段であってもよい。また、メモリ92には、RAM(Random Access Memory)、ROM(Read Only Memory)、フラッシュメモリ、EPROM(Erasable Programmable ROM)、EEPROM(登録商標)(Electrically EPROM)といった不揮発性又は揮発性の半導体メモリ、磁気ディスク、フレキシブルディスク、光ディスク、コンパクトディスク、ミニディスク、DVD(Digital Versatile Disc)を例示することができる。
 メモリ92には、制御部400の機能を実行するプログラムが保持されている。プロセッサ91は、必要な情報を授受してメモリ92に記憶し、メモリ92に保持されたプログラムをプロセッサ91が実行し、メモリ92に記憶されたデータ及びテーブルをプロセッサ91が参照することにより、上述した制御及び下述する制御を実行することができる。プロセッサ91による演算結果は、メモリ92に記憶することができる。
 次に、実施の形態1に係る電力変換装置1における動作の要点について説明する。制御部400は、上述の何れかの手法で検出されたリプル電流を基に、コンデンサ210の寿命を推定する。具体的に、制御部400は、リプル電流とコンデンサ210の寿命との相関性を利用してコンデンサ210の寿命を推定する。図3は、実施の形態1の制御において使用するリプル電流と推定寿命との間の相関関係を示す図である。図3の横軸はリプル電流を示し、縦軸は推定寿命を示している。推定寿命は、コンデンサ210の寿命の推定値である。図3の縦軸の目盛は、リプル電流と推定寿命との相関関係が直線になるように調整されている。相関関係を表すデータは、実験などにより求めることができ、メモリ92に保持させることができる。また、図4は、実施の形態1の制御の説明に供するフローチャートである。
 図3において、リプル電流A1での推定寿命をL1とし、実施の形態1の制御を行うか否かの判定するための閾値である第1閾値をLlimit1とする。図4において、電力変換装置1の運転が開始されると、ステップS1に移行し、制御部400は、インバータ310が動作しているか否かを判定する。インバータ310が動作していない場合(ステップS1、No)、ステップS5に移行する。インバータ310が動作している場合(ステップS1、Yes)、ステップS2に移行する。
 ステップS2において、制御部400は、検出されたリプル電流A1に基づいてコンデンサ210の推定寿命L1を算出し、ステップS3に移行する。
 ステップS3において、制御部400は、推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1以下であるか否かを判定する。推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1を上回る場合(ステップS3、No)、ステップS5に移行する。また、推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1以下の場合(ステップS3、Yes)、ステップS4に移行する。
 ステップS4において、制御部400は、推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1を上回るようにインバータ310の動作を制御する。本稿では、この制御を適宜「第1の制御」と呼ぶ。第1の制御によって、リプル電流の振幅値の変動幅が小さくなる。その後、ステップS5に移行する。
 第1の制御について補足する。通常の制御において、電力変換装置1は、モータ314の回転速度を制御する定電流負荷制御を優先して行いつつ、モータ314の振動を低減する負荷脈動補償制御、及びリプル電流の振幅値の変動幅を抑制する電源脈動補償制御を実施する。これらの各制御においては、各々の補償制御のために、q軸電流指令を配分することが行われる。その際、電源脈動補償制御を優先して、電源脈動補償制御のための分配比を多くすれば、リプル電流の振幅値の変動幅を小さくすることができる。上述した第1の制御では、このような優先制御を実施しながら制限運転を行う。
 ステップS5において、制御部400は、電力変換装置1が運転停止状態か否かを判定し、停止状態の場合は(ステップS5、Yes)、図4のフローを終了する。また、電力変換装置1が運転状態の場合は(ステップS5、No)、ステップS1に移行し、ステップS1からの処理を繰り返す。
 なお、上記ステップS3の判定処理では、推定寿命L1と第1閾値Llimit1とが等しい場合を“Yes”で判定しているが、“No”で判定してもよい。即ち、推定寿命L1と第1閾値Llimit1とが等しい場合を“Yes”又は“No”の何れで判定してもよい。
 以上説明したように、実施の形態1に係る電力変換装置1が備える制御部400は、コンデンサ210に流出入するリプル電流I3を検出もしくは算出し、検出もしくは算出したリプル電流I3に基づいてコンデンサ210の寿命を推定し、推定した推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1以下である場合、推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1を上回るようにインバータ310の動作を制御する第1の制御を実施する。第1の制御を実施すれば、コンデンサ210の劣化の進行度合いを遅くすることができるので、コンデンサ210の劣化の進行に適切に対処することが可能となる。従って、このような機能を備えた電力変換装置1を用いれば、製品寿命の延命化を図ることができる。

 実施の形態1では、推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1以下の場合、インバータ310の動作を制限して、推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1を上回るようにインバータ310を動作させる制御について説明した。実施の形態2では、複数の閾値を設け、段階的にインバータ310を制限動作させる、もしくは停止する制御について説明する。なお、実施の形態2の制御は、図1に示す構成の電力変換装置1を用いて実施することができる。
 図5は、実施の形態2の制御において使用するリプル電流と推定寿命との間の相関関係を示す図である。図5の横軸はリプル電流を示し、縦軸は推定寿命を示している。図5の縦軸の目盛は、リプル電流と推定寿命との相関関係が直線になるように調整されている。相関関係を表すデータは、実験などにより求めることができ、メモリ92に保持させることができる。また、図6は、実施の形態2の制御の説明に供するフローチャートである。
 図5において、L1及びLlimit1は、図3に示すものと意味は同じである。また、Llimit2は、第1閾値Llimit1は異なる判定閾値であり、本稿では「第2閾値」と呼ぶ。図5に示すように、第2閾値Llimit2は、第1閾値Llimit1よりも小さい。
 次に、実施の形態2における制御部400の動作について説明する。図6において、電力変換装置1の運転が開始されると、ステップS6に移行し、制御部400は、インバータ310が動作しているか否かを判定する。インバータ310が動作していない場合(ステップS6、No)、ステップS12に移行する。インバータ310が動作している場合(ステップS6、Yes)、ステップS7に移行する。
 ステップS7において、制御部400は、検出されたリプル電流A1に基づいてコンデンサ210の推定寿命L1を算出し、ステップS8に移行する。
 ステップS8において、制御部400は、推定寿命L1が第2閾値Llimit2を下回るか否かを判定する。推定寿命L1が第2閾値Llimit2以上の場合(ステップS8、No)、ステップS10に移行する。また、推定寿命L1が第2閾値Llimit2を下回る場合(ステップS8、Yes)、ステップS9に移行する。ステップS9において、制御部400は、インバータ310の動作を停止する制御を実施する。本稿では、この制御を適宜「第2の制御」と呼ぶ。第2の制御の実施後、図6のフローを終了する。
 また、ステップS10において、制御部400は、推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1以下であるか否かを判定する。推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1を上回る場合(ステップS10、No)、ステップS12に移行する。また、推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1以下の場合(ステップS10、Yes)、ステップS11に移行する。
 ステップS11において、制御部400は、推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1を上回るようにインバータ310の動作を制御する。この制御は、実施の形態1で説明した第1の制御である。その後、ステップS12に移行する。
 ステップS12において、制御部400は、電力変換装置1が運転停止状態か否かを判定し、停止状態の場合は(ステップS12、Yes)、図6のフローを終了する。また、電力変換装置1が運転状態の場合は(ステップS12、No)、ステップS6に移行し、ステップS6からの処理を繰り返す。
 なお、上記ステップS8の判定処理では、推定寿命L1と第2閾値Llimit2とが等しい場合を“No”で判定しているが、“Yes”で判定してもよい。即ち、推定寿命L1と第2閾値Llimit2とが等しい場合を“Yes”又は“No”の何れで判定してもよい。また、上記ステップS10の判定処理では、推定寿命L1と第1閾値Llimit1とが等しい場合を“Yes”で判定しているが、“No”で判定してもよい。即ち、推定寿命L1と第1閾値Llimit1とが等しい場合を“Yes”又は“No”の何れで判定してもよい。
 以上説明したように、実施の形態2に係る電力変換装置1が備える制御部400は、検出もしくは算出した推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1以下である場合において、推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1よりも小さな第2閾値Llimit2を下回る場合には、インバータ310の動作を停止させる第2の制御を実施し、推定寿命L1が第2閾値Llimit2以上である場合には、第1の制御を実施する。実施の形態2に係る電力変換装置1では、第1の制御と第2の制御とが併用されるので、コンデンサ210の劣化の進行に適切に対処しつつ、運転の継続によってコンデンサ210が損傷するのを防止することが可能となる。
 なお、実施の形態2では、推定寿命L1と比較する閾値が第1閾値Llimit1と、第1閾値Llimit1よりも小さな第2閾値Llimit2との二つである場合について説明したが、第1閾値Llimit1自体が複数であってもよい。第1閾値Llimit1が複数である場合、制限運転の程度を多段階に変更することが可能となる。
実施の形態3.
 実施の形態2に係る電力変換装置1は、推定寿命L1が第2閾値Llimit2以下の場合に、インバータ310の動作を停止する制御を実施するものであったが、実施の形態3では、更にユーザビリティを向上させた電力変換装置1Aについて説明する。
 図7は、実施の形態3に係る電力変換装置1Aの構成例を示す図である。図1に示す電力変換装置1との相違点は、電力変換装置1Aが表示部601と入力部602とを備えるユーザI/F(インターフェース)600を備えている点である。電力変換装置1Aと、圧縮機315が備えるモータ314とによって、モータ駆動装置2Aが構成される。その他の構成は、電力変換装置1と同一又は同等であり、同一又は同等の構成部には同一の符号を付して重複する説明は割愛する。
 図8は、実施の形態3の制御の説明に供するフローチャートである。また、図9は、実施の形態3の制御において表示部601に表示される表示画面の例を示す図である。
 次に、実施の形態3における制御部400の動作について説明する。図8において、電力変換装置1Aの運転が開始されると、ステップS13に移行し、制御部400は、インバータ310が動作しているか否かを判定する。インバータ310が動作していない場合(ステップS13、No)、ステップS21に移行する。インバータ310が動作している場合(ステップS13、Yes)、ステップS14に移行する。
 ステップS14において、制御部400は検出されたリプル電流A1に基づいてコンデンサ210の推定寿命L1を算出し、ステップS15に移行する。
 ステップS15において、制御部400は、推定寿命L1が第2閾値Llimit2を下回るか否かを判定する。推定寿命L1が第2閾値Llimit2以上の場合(ステップS15、No)、ステップS19に移行する。また、推定寿命L1が第2閾値Llimit2を下回る場合(ステップS15、Yes)、ステップS16に移行する。
 ステップS16において、制御部400は、表示部601に選択画面614を表示する。図9には、選択画面614が示されている。選択画面614には、コンデンサ210が劣化している旨を示すメッセージが表示されている。また、選択画面614には、インバータ310の動作を停止することを選択する選択ボタン614a(“YES”と表記されたボタン)と、インバータ310の動作を停止することを選択しない非選択ボタン614b(“NO”と表記されたボタン)とが表示されている。ユーザは、選択画面614を使用して、インバータ310の動作を停止するか否か、即ちインバータ310の動作を停止するか、インバータ310の動作を継続するかを選択することができる。なお、図9において、選択ボタン614a及び非選択ボタン614bは、ソフトウェア処理によって表示されるタッチパネルをイメージしているが、タッチパネルに限定されるものではなく、ハード的なボタンを配置してもよい。
 図8に戻り、ステップS17において、制御部400は、入力部602から通知される信号が運転停止であるか否かを判定する。ユーザが選択ボタン614a、即ち“YES”を選択した場合には運転停止の信号が制御部400に通知され、ユーザが非選択ボタン614b、即ち“NO”を選択した場合には運転継続の信号が制御部400に通知される。入力部602からの信号が運転停止である場合(ステップS17、Yes)、ステップS18に移行する。入力部602からの信号が運転停止ではない、即ち運転継続である場合(ステップS17、No)、ステップS21に移行する。
 ステップS18において、制御部400は、インバータ310の動作を停止し、図8のフローを終了する。また、ステップS19において、制御部400は、推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1以下であるか否かを判定する。推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1を上回る場合(ステップS19、No)、ステップS21に移行する。また、推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1以下の場合(ステップS19、Yes)、ステップS20に移行する。
 ステップS20において、制御部400は、推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1を上回るようにインバータ310の動作を制御する。この制御は、実施の形態1で説明した第1の制御である。その後、ステップS21に移行する。
 ステップS21において、制御部400は、電力変換装置1が運転停止状態か否かを判定し、停止状態の場合は(ステップS21、Yes)、図8のフローを終了する。また、電力変換装置1が運転状態の場合は(ステップS21、No)、ステップS13に移行し、ステップS13からの処理を繰り返す。
 なお、上記ステップS15の判定処理では、推定寿命L1と第2閾値Llimit2とが等しい場合を“No”で判定しているが、“Yes”で判定してもよい。即ち、推定寿命L1と第2閾値Llimit2とが等しい場合を“Yes”又は“No”の何れで判定してもよい。また、上記ステップS19の判定処理では、推定寿命L1と第1閾値Llimit1とが等しい場合を“Yes”で判定しているが、“No”で判定してもよい。即ち、推定寿命L1と第1閾値Llimit1とが等しい場合を“Yes”又は“No”の何れで判定してもよい。
 以上説明したように、実施の形態3に係る電力変換装置1Aは、表示部601及び入力部602を具備するユーザI/F600を更に備えている。制御部400は、検出もしくは算出した推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1以下である場合において、推定寿命L1が第1閾値Llimit1よりも小さな第2閾値Llimit2を下回る場合には、表示部601にコンデンサ210が劣化している旨を示すメッセージを表示する。これにより、ユーザは、コンデンサ210が劣化していることを認識できるので、製品の状態を的確に把握することが可能となる。
 また、実施の形態3に係る電力変換装置1Aは、表示部601にインバータ310の動作を停止する第2の制御を実施するか否かの選択画面614を表示し、制御部400は、入力部602を介してユーザの選択動作に基づく信号を受信して、ユーザの希望する動作を実施することができる。これにより、製品寿命よりも動作継続を優先させたいユーザにとっては、ユーザビリティを改善することができる。また、動作継続よりも製品寿命を優先させたいユーザにとっては、製品寿命の延命化を図ることができる。
実施の形態4.
 図10は、実施の形態4に係る冷凍サイクル適用機器900の構成例を示す図である。実施の形態4に係る冷凍サイクル適用機器900は、実施の形態1で説明した電力変換装置1を備える。実施の形態4に係る冷凍サイクル適用機器900は、空気調和機、冷蔵庫、冷凍庫、ヒートポンプ給湯器といった冷凍サイクルを備える製品に適用することが可能である。なお、図10において、実施の形態1と同等の機能を有する構成要素には、同一の符号を付している。
 冷凍サイクル適用機器900は、実施の形態1におけるモータ314を内蔵した圧縮機315と、四方弁902と、室内熱交換器906と、膨張弁908と、室外熱交換器910とが冷媒配管912を介して取り付けられている。
 圧縮機315の内部には、冷媒を圧縮する圧縮機構904と、圧縮機構904を動作させるモータ314とが設けられている。
 冷凍サイクル適用機器900は、四方弁902の切替動作により暖房運転又は冷房運転をすることができる。圧縮機構904は、可変速制御されるモータ314によって駆動される。
 暖房運転時には、実線矢印で示すように、冷媒が圧縮機構904で加圧されて送り出され、四方弁902、室内熱交換器906、膨張弁908、室外熱交換器910及び四方弁902を通って圧縮機構904に戻る。
 冷房運転時には、破線矢印で示すように、冷媒が圧縮機構904で加圧されて送り出され、四方弁902、室外熱交換器910、膨張弁908、室内熱交換器906及び四方弁902を通って圧縮機構904に戻る。
 暖房運転時には、室内熱交換器906が凝縮器として作用して熱放出を行い、室外熱交換器910が蒸発器として作用して熱吸収を行う。冷房運転時には、室外熱交換器910が凝縮器として作用して熱放出を行い、室内熱交換器906が蒸発器として作用し、熱吸収を行う。膨張弁908は、冷媒を減圧して膨張させる。
 なお、実施の形態4に係る冷凍サイクル適用機器900は、実施の形態1で説明した電力変換装置1を備えるものとして説明したが、これに限定されない。図7に示す電力変換装置1Aを備えていてもよい。また、実施の形態1~3の制御手法を適用できるものであれば、電力変換装置1,1A以外の電力変換装置でもよい。
 以上の実施の形態に示した構成は、一例を示すものであり、別の公知の技術と組み合わせることも可能であるし、実施の形態同士を組み合わせることも可能であるし、要旨を逸脱しない範囲で、構成の一部を省略、変更することも可能である。

Claims (5)

  1.  商用電源から供給される交流電流を整流する整流部と、
     前記整流部によって整流された整流電流を平滑化するコンデンサと、
     前記コンデンサから出力される電流を駆動電流に変換して負荷へ供給するインバータと、
     前記コンデンサに流出入するリプル電流を検出もしくは算出し、検出もしくは算出した前記リプル電流に基づいて前記コンデンサの寿命を推定し、推定した推定寿命が第1閾値以下である場合、推定寿命が第1閾値を上回るように前記インバータの動作を制御する第1の制御を行う制御部と、
     を備える電力変換装置。
  2.  前記制御部は、検出もしくは算出した前記推定寿命が前記第1閾値以下である場合において、
     前記推定寿命が前記第1閾値よりも小さな第2閾値を下回る場合には、前記インバータの動作を停止させる第2の制御を実施し、
     前記推定寿命が第2閾値以上である場合には、前記第1の制御を実施する
     請求項1に記載の電力変換装置。
  3.  入力部及び表示部を具備するユーザインターフェースを更に備え、
     前記制御部は、検出もしくは算出した前記推定寿命が前記第1閾値以下である場合において、
     前記推定寿命が前記第1閾値よりも小さな第2閾値を下回る場合には、前記表示部に前記インバータの動作を停止する第2の制御を実施するか否かの選択画面を表示する
     請求項1に記載の電力変換装置。
  4.  請求項1から3の何れか1項に記載の電力変換装置を備えるモータ駆動装置。
  5.  請求項1から3の何れか1項に記載の電力変換装置を備える冷凍サイクル適用機器。
