- the superiority of the position of the cover 16 will be explained.
- the door 6 is arranged at a position closer to the landing than the cover 16 on the horizontal projection plane. Therefore, a space is formed between the cover 16 and the equipment in the hoistway on the horizontal projection plane. Therefore, interference between the cover 16 and equipment in the hoistway can be prevented.
- Cover 16 includes surface 30 .
- the surface 30 is a surface facing a door provided at the landing when the car 1 is raised and lowered.
- Door 6 comprises a face 31 .
- the surface 31 is a surface facing a door provided at the landing when the car 1 is raised and lowered.
- the plane 31 is the plane of the door 6 that is farthest from the car frame 7 on the plane of horizontal projection.
- the surface 30 is installed closer to the upper beam 14 than the surface 31 on the horizontal projection plane.
- the surface 30 is closest to the equipment in the hoistway among the surfaces provided by the cover 16 . In order to prevent interference between the cover 16 and equipment in the hoistway, the surface 30 should have a small deflection.
- the cover fixing portion 9 is installed closer to the upper beam 14 than the second pipe 20a on the horizontal projection plane. Therefore, tension is generated in the surface 30, making it difficult to bend. Also, by using tension to fix the cover 16, the number of fixing points of the cover 16 can be reduced. Therefore, the number of parts can be reduced, and the installability is improved.
- the shape of the air rectifier 8 is determined by the shape of the first pipe 19 and the shape of the second pipe 20 .
- the first pipe 19 has a first bend 22 and the end on the door 6 side does not have a bend.
- the second pipe 20 has a second bent portion 24 and a third bent portion 25 . Due to the shape of the first pipe 19 and the shape of the second pipe 20, the cover 16 of the air rectifier 8 has a curved upper part of the side surface other than the surface 30 and has a streamline shape.
- the air rectifier 8 can reduce the flow rate of the air flowing toward the door 6 side. Thereby, the noise in the car room 5 can be reduced.

- a second pipe 20 is arranged above the first pipe 19 .
- the second pipe 20 is arranged along the x-axis on the plane of horizontal projection. Therefore, the second pipe 20 intersects the first pipe 19 on the horizontal projection plane. Therefore, the second pipe 20 can be fixed to the first pipe 19 at the point of intersection with the first pipe 19 . On the other hand, the second pipe 20 does not cross the upper beam 14 . Thus, if the second pipe 20 is mounted below the first pipe 19, additional fixing parts are required. Therefore, the framework in which the second pipe 20 is arranged above the first pipe 19 can reduce the number of parts compared to the framework in which the second pipe 20 is arranged below the first pipe 19, and the installation is improved. Furthermore, the structure becomes simple and the assembly work becomes easy.

- the second pipe 20 is arranged above the first pipe 19, as shown in FIG.
- a downward airflow A is generated. Due to the downward pressure generated by the airflow A, the upper portion of the cover 16 bends along the x-axis direction between the second pipes 20a and 20b and between the second pipes 20b and 20c. As a result, the bent portion acts like a groove. Therefore, in the vicinity of the upper surface of the cover 16, the airflow B in the x-axis direction is likely to occur, and the airflow C in the y-axis direction is less likely to occur. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the airflow C generated toward the door 6, which is a cause of noise.
- the upper portion of the cover 16 bends in a rectangular shape along the x-axis direction and the y-axis direction. Therefore, near the surface of the upper portion of the cover 16, the airflow B and the airflow C are generated to the same degree. Therefore, a state in which the airflow C in the y-axis direction is difficult to generate is not created. Also, when the first pipe 19 is arranged on the second pipe 20, the upper portion of the cover 16 bends along the y-axis direction between the first pipe 19a and the first pipe 19b.
- the airflow C in the y-axis direction is likely to occur, and the airflow B in the x-axis direction is less likely to occur. Therefore, a state in which the airflow C in the y-axis direction is difficult to generate is not created.
- the second pipe 20 on the first pipe 19 the flow rate of the air flowing toward the door 6 can be suppressed. Thereby, the noise in the car room 5 can be reduced.
- the air rectifier 8 is provided with two first pipes 19 and three second pipes 20.
- the air conditioner 8 may have only one first pipe 19 and only one second pipe 20 .

- the shape of the framework of the air conditioner 8 is determined by the shapes of the first pipe 19 and the second pipe 20 .
- the first pipe 19 intersects the second pipe 20 on the horizontal projection plane.
- the frame of the air rectifier 8 is made by crossing two kinds of parts. Therefore, the number of kinds of parts is reduced, and the ease of installation is improved. Furthermore, the structure becomes simple and the assembly work becomes easy.
- the first pipe 19 is arranged below the second pipe 20.
- the first pipes 19 intersect on the plane of horizontal projection.
- the second pipe 20 crosses the first pipe 19 on the horizontal projection plane. Therefore, the first pipe 19 can be fixed at the intersection with the upper beam 14 or the support base 18 . Also, the second pipe 20 can be fixed at the intersection with the first pipe 19 . Therefore, the number of parts required for fixing can be reduced. This further improves the installability and facilitates the assembly work.

- the second pipe 20 has a second rod-shaped portion 23 , a second bent portion 24 and a third bent portion 25 .
- the first pipe 19 is arranged below the second pipe 20. Therefore, an airflow is likely to occur in the x-axis direction, and an airflow is less likely to occur in the y-axis direction. As a result, the airflow generated toward the door 6, which causes noise, can be further suppressed.
- the cover 16 is fixed by the cover fixing portion 9 . Therefore, tension is applied to the cover 16, and deflection can be prevented. Therefore, the air rectifier 8 can reduce the fixing parts of the cover 16 . This further improves the installability and facilitates the assembly work.
- the door 6 When the car room 5 is arranged according to the height of the landing, the door 6 is arranged at a position closer to the landing than the cover 16 on the horizontal projection plane. Thereby, interference between the cover 16 and equipment in the hoistway can be prevented.
- a soft material is used for the cover 16 . Since it can follow the framework of the air rectifier 8, there is no need to perform bending or the like at the time of manufacture. Also, the cover 16 can be folded. Therefore, transportation of the cover 16 is facilitated. Furthermore, the cover 16 can be unfolded over the car 1 from a folded state and attached to the framework. This improves portability and installability, and facilitates assembly work.

It is preferable to be provided on the surface 30 because it facilitates getting on and off.
- the cover 16 has the opening/closing mechanism 32 on the surface 30 . Therefore, the cover 16 can be opened. As a result, even when the main rope 3 is attached to the car frame 7, the cover 16 can be attached to and detached from the framework. Further, the car 1 is capable of opening and closing the cover 16 from the landing. Also, the cover 16 can be partially opened. This improves the maintainability of the car 1 and facilitates the work of getting in and out of the car room 5 from the landing. - the car room 5 is supported by the car frame 7 via anti-vibration rubber.
- the anti-vibration rubber suppresses shaking that occurs in the car room 5 when passengers get in and out of the car room 5, for example.
- the car frame 7 may move differently from the car room 5 by the displacement amount of the anti-vibration rubber. If the bolts 36 are fully tightened, they may be tensioned enough to break the cover 16 . Damage to the cover 16 can be prevented by making the hole for passing the bolt 36 of the cover 16 an elongated hole and adjusting the fastening strength of the bolt 36 .
- the cover 16 has the opening 33 formed in the surface 30 as in the third embodiment. Therefore, the cover 16 has a smaller area along the framework than the cover 16 of the first embodiment. Further, the operation of getting on and off the car room 5 from the landing is easier than in the first embodiment. This further improves the installability and maintainability as compared with the first embodiment.
- An end portion of the cover 16 is fixed to the car chamber 5 by a cover fixing portion 9 . Therefore, there is no air flow path between the car 5 and the cover 16 . Thereby, even if the opening 33 is formed, the air flowing from the opening 33 to the inside of the cover 16 can be suppressed. Thereby, noise can be reduced without changing the shape of the first pipe 19 and the shape of the second pipe 20 .
- the structure becomes simpler than that of the third embodiment. Therefore, the installability is improved as compared with the third embodiment. Also, the cover 16 is fixed in a state without a gap between the cover 16 and the car chamber 5 . Therefore, when the air rectifier 8 is arranged on the car 1, a handrail for preventing overturning is not required.
- FIG. 13 is a side view of the elevator car 1 showing how the soft material cover 16 is fixed.
