図1~図4に示すように、本実施形態に係る信号灯は、円筒状のベースユニット1と、ベースユニット1の上部に取り付けられる照明ユニット2と、照明ユニット2の上部に取り付けられる蓋部材3と、を備えている。また、ベースユニット1と照明ユニット2との間、及び照明ユニット2と蓋部材3との間には、それぞれ環状のガスケット4が設けられ、これらガスケット4によってベースユニット1及び照明ユニット2内への水などの侵入を防止するようにしている。
次に、ベースユニット1と照明ユニット2との間、及び照明ユニット2と蓋部材3との間にガスケット4を用いて形成されるシール構造について説明する。これら2つのシール構造は概ね同じであるため、以下では、照明ユニット2と蓋部材3との間のシール構造について、図5及び図6を参照しつつ説明する。図5はシール構造の拡大した分解図、図6は蓋部材の断面図、図7は照明ユニットの側面図、図8はガスケットの断面図である。

前記取付溝は、前記第1方向の前記第2積層ユニット側の第1面、前記第1方向における前記第1面とは反対側の第2面、及び前記第1方向に沿って延び前記第1面及び第2面を連結する第3面と、を備え、
前記ガスケットは、
前記第1方向に延び、第1端部及び第2端部を有する基部と、
前記基部における、前記第1方向の前記積層ユニット側の前記第1端部において、径方向の内方及び外方にそれぞれ延びる環状の第1突部と、
前記基部における、前記第1突部よりも前記第2端部側において、径方向の内方及び外方にそれぞれ延びる、少なくとも1つの環状の第2突部と、
を備え、
前記第1突部及び前記第2突部の径方向内方及び外方の端部が、それぞれ前記第3面及び前記側壁部に接触するように構成され、
前記第1突部及び前記基部の第1端部の少なくとも一部が、前記取付溝の第2面に接するように構成されている、電子機器。 - 前記第1突部の径方向の長さは、前記第2突部の径方向の長さよりも長く、
前記取付溝の前記第3面には、前記ガスケットの前記第1突部が収容され、径方向内方に延びる環状の凹部が形成されている、請求項1または2に記載の電子機器。 - 2以上の前記第2突部が、前記第1方向に所定間隔をおいて形成されている、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の電子機器。
- 前記基部の前記第2端部は、前記取付溝の前記第2面に接触可能な平坦面が形成されている、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の電子機器。
- 請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の電子機器に取り付けられる前記ガスケットと、同一構成を有するガスケット。
