Abstract
Description
この構成によれば、連結部を第2分割体から外すことによって、電源装置を第2分割体から分離させることが可能となる。
この構成によれば、走査管などの機構を加速管に接続した状態のまま、第1分割体を第2分割体から離すことが可能となる。これにより、電源装置を圧力タンクから露出すべく、第1分割体と第2分割体とを分離する工程を簡素化することが可能となる。
図1に示す本実施形態の電子線照射装置10は、走査型の電子線照射装置である。電子線照射装置10は、熱電子放出を行う例えばタングステン製のフィラメント11を備えている。フィラメント11は、電源装置31に含まれるフィラメント用電源12からの電源供給に基づく自身の加熱により電子を放出する。フィラメント11は、加速管13の上端側に設けられている。
電源装置31及び加速管13は、圧力タンク32の内部に収容されている。圧力タンク32の内部には、例えばSF6ガスなどの絶縁ガスが充填される。圧力タンク32の内部の気圧は例えば0.5MPa程度の高気圧に設定される。圧力タンク32は、例えば、金属などの導体からなる。なお、圧力タンク32は、例えば、電気的に接地されている。
第1分割体40は、その内部において、軸線Lに沿って延びる第2レール44を有している。第2レール44は、第1周壁部41の内周面に固定されている。第2レール44は、例えば、軸線Lに直交する水平方向に並んで一対設けられている。
図2及び図3に示す例では、第2分割体50は、加速管13の出射方向が支持台61側、すなわち鉛直方向の下側を向くように、第1分割体40に固定されている。図3では、鉛直方向の下側を向く加速管13の出射方向をD1としている。この第2分割体50の固定角度を第1の位置として、第2分割体50を第1の位置から軸線Lを中心に45°回転させた第2の位置に角度変更して、第2分割体50を第1分割体40に固定可能である。図3では、第2分割体50を第2の位置で固定した場合の加速管13を2点鎖線で示している。第2の位置における加速管13の出射方向D2は、水平に対して平行である。
電源装置31のメンテナンス時には、まず、圧力タンク32の内部に充填された絶縁ガスを取り除くガス回収工程を行う。
被連結部57に対する連結部71の連結を解除するとともに、前記ロック部によってベース36を第2レール44に固定する。本実施形態では、例えば、連結プレート72を被連結部57に固定したままの状態とし、連結プレート72に対する連結部71の固定を外す。また、電線38と電源本体37との接続を外す。この状態で、図6に示すように、第1分割体40を方向X1に移動させる。すると、第1分割体40は電源装置31と共に第2分割体50から分離される。
(1)電子線照射装置10は、電源装置31と、電源装置31からの電力供給により電子を加速させて電子線eを生じさせる加速管13と、電源装置31及び加速管13を収容する圧力タンク32と、を備える。圧力タンク32は、電源装置31を収容する第1分割体40と、加速管13を収容する第2分割体50とに分割可能に構成される。第2分割体50は、加速管13から出射される電子線eを圧力タンク32の外部に出射するための出射口54を有する。電源装置31は、第2分割体50に連結される連結部71を有する。そして、電子線照射装置10のメンテナンス方法は、連結部71が第2分割体50に連結された状態で第1分割体40を第2分割体50から分離することで、電源装置31を圧力タンク32から露出させる露出工程を含む。
・上記実施形態の露出工程では、第2分割体50に対する連結部71の連結を解除するとき、連結プレート72を被連結部57に固定したままの状態として、連結プレート72に対する連結部71の固定を外す。しかしながら、これに特に限定されるものではなく、被連結部57に対する連結プレート72の固定を外すことによって、第2分割体50に対する連結部71の連結を解除してもよい。また例えば、連結プレート72を、ベース36に対して分離不能に設けてベース36の一部位として構成してもよい。この場合、連結プレート72は、第2分割体50に連結される連結部を構成する。
