Abstract
Description
(検出対象)
検出対象は、検出機10及び検出装置1による検出の対象物、言い換えると、試料である。検出対象は、電流によって磁界が発生する。図1に示す例では、検出対象は、誘電体100と、誘電体100の内部に配置された導体101、導体102、導体103及び導体104とを有する。導体101、導体102及び導体103は、誘電体100の面100a側に間隔を空けて配置されている。導体101、導体102及び導体103の幅d21は、例えば1μm程度である。導体104は、誘電体100の面100b側に配置されている。導体101には、図1における手前側から奥側に向かって電流I1が流れる。電流I1は、誘電体100の面100a側を流れる。電流I1による磁界F1の向きを矢印で示す。導体102には、図1における奥側から手前側に向かって電流I2が流れる。電流I2は、誘電体100の面100a側を流れる。電流I2による磁界F2の向きを矢印で示す。導体103には、図1における手前側から奥側に向かって電流I3が流れる。電流I3は、誘電体100の面100a側を流れる。電流I3による磁界F3の向きを矢印で示す。導体104には、図1における左側から右側に向かって電流I4が流れる。電流I4は、誘電体100の面100b側を流れる。電流I4による磁界F4の向きを矢印で示す。
検出機10は、検出基板11と、誘電体基体13とを備える。
検出装置1は、検出機10と、発光素子21及び受光素子22とを有する。より詳しくは、検出装置1は、検出基板11と、検出基板11を収容する誘電体基体13と、NVセンタ112に光を入出力する発光素子21及び受光素子22とを含む。検出装置1は、検出対象を載置するサンプルステージ110を含んでもよい。
図5は、信号制御部の一例を説明するブロック図である。信号制御部200は、例えばマイクロコンピュータなどである。信号制御部200は、発光素子21における発光動作の制御を行う。信号制御部200は、受光素子22における受光動作の制御を行う。信号制御部200は、マイクロ波を発生させるマイクロ波源である発振素子31におけるマイクロ波の発振動作の制御を行う。信号制御部200には、受光素子22が取り込んだ蛍光像の光信号が出力される。信号制御部200は、信号処理回路である信号処理部202及び制御回路である制御部201を有する。制御部201は、受光素子22、発光素子21及び発振素子31にタイミング信号を供給して動作制御を行う。制御部201は、発振素子31から出力されるマイクロ波の周波数を設定する制御を行う。信号処理部202は、受光素子22から入力された光信号に基づいて蛍光像の画像処理を行う。信号制御部200及び発振素子31は、例えば半導体チップなどにそれぞれ形成されている。図5では、信号制御部200及び発振素子31が異なる半導体チップによって形成されている例を示したが、これらは1つの半導体チップによって形成するようにしてもよい。
検出装置1を使用した、検出対象の磁界の検出方法について説明する。まず、サンプルステージ110の面110a上に検出対象である誘電体100を載置する。誘電体100には、電流I1、電流I2、電流I3及び電流I4によって、磁界F1、磁界F2、磁界F3及び磁界F4が発生している。
図2に示す検出装置1の用途の一例は、磁気力顕微鏡の磁気ヘッドである。磁気ヘッドは、磁気力顕微鏡に接続されて使用される。この場合、信号制御部が形成された半導体素子と、マイクロ波源が形成された半導体素子とは、磁気ヘッド自体ではなく、磁気力顕微鏡に搭載されている。ボンディングパッド18はマイクロ波源に接続され、発光素子21及び受光素子22は信号制御部に接続される。
以上により、本実施形態では、ダイヤモンド結晶111に、NVセンタ112及びアンテナ導体113を双方とも設けることができる。本実施形態によれば、NVセンタ112及びアンテナ導体113を近接して設けることができる。これにより、本実施形態は、NVセンタ112に対しアンテナ導体113を正確に配置することができる。よって、本実施形態は、特定部位のNVセンタ112に対し十分な強度のマイクロ波を少ない電力で効果的に印加することができる。
図6は、第2実施形態に係る検出機の検出基板の概略を説明する断面図である。図7は、第2実施形態に係る検出機及び検出装置の一例を説明する概略図である。図8は、検出基板の一例を説明する概略図である。第2実施形態において、第1実施形態と同様の構成には、同じ符号を付して説明を省略する。
発光素子21及び受光素子22は、アンテナ導体113のリング状の内側に配置される。光出射部及び光入射部が、面111aに向いて配置されている。発光素子21及び受光素子22は、例えば図7に示すように、ダイヤモンド結晶111の面111aの露出部111cに密着して配置される。この場合、発光素子21及び受光素子22のそれぞれに対して、誘電体基体13とは独立に形成されたパッド導体1141及び配線1143から給電される。発光素子21及び受光素子22は、誘電体基体13の接地導体にワイヤボンド接続するか、半田ボール接続してもよい。
検出装置1の検出基板11の磁界作用面であるダイヤモンド結晶111の面111bに、誘電体100の面100aを近接または密着させる。図5に示すように、マイクロ波源である発振素子31が発生させたマイクロ波は、誘電体基体13の内部に設けた、図示しない高周波伝送線路を通じて検出基板11のアンテナ導体113に伝搬する。そして、アンテナ導体113からマイクロ波が放射される。そして、放射されたマイクロ波は、NVセンタ112に作用し電子スピン共鳴を生じさせる。誘電体100に発生する磁界の向きまたは大きさの空間的な変化が、検出装置1の検出基板11のダイヤモンド結晶111の面111bの近傍にあるNVセンタ112に作用する。
図7に示す検出装置1の用途の一例は、バッテリーの充放電電流の計測用デバイスである。この場合、信号制御部が形成された半導体素子と、マイクロ波源が形成された半導体素子とは、ダイヤモンド結晶111と一体のモジュールとして構成される。図7では、マイクロ波源が形成された半導体素子のみ、発振素子31として図示しているが、別途信号制御部が形成された半導体素子が設けられていてもよい。
以上により、本実施形態は、検出装置1は、検出機10と、発光素子21及び受光素子22とを一体化して形成する。本実施形態は、発振素子31が誘電体基体13上の配線と電気的に接続される。本実施形態は、ダイヤモンド結晶を用いた磁気センサーを、小型、簡素、堅牢に構成できる。本実施形態によれば、ダイヤモンド結晶にはヒステリシスがなく、磁場計測の直線性がよいので、高精度に電流積算を検出できる。本実施形態は、例えば、二次電池に充電と放電を繰り返し行ったときに誤差が積算されず、蓄電池の充電量を正確に把握したり予測したりできる。本実施形態は、例えば、電気自動車の蓄電池システム及びインバータシステム等に好適に用いることができる。
図10は、アンテナ導体の他の例を説明する平面図である。図10に示すアンテナ導体113は、一辺が開放した矩形の枠状に形成されている。アンテナ導体113の内側に、発光素子21及び受光素子22が配置されている。
図11は、アンテナ導体の他の例を説明する平面図である。図11に示すアンテナ導体113は、矩形の枠状に形成されている。アンテナ導体113の一部に、櫛部115が設けられている。櫛部115は、アンテナ導体113の矩形のうちの一つの辺から対向する辺に向かう櫛歯を有する櫛部1151と、対向する辺から一つの辺に向かう櫛歯を有する櫛部1152とが噛み合っている。櫛部115は所謂IDT(Inter Digital Transducer)と呼ばれるものであり、容量(キャパシタンス)形成部を構成する。櫛部1151および櫛部1152はキャパシタンスを構成する。櫛部1151および櫛部1152は電極子のライン&スペースや対数を調整することにより、アンテナ導体113に入射する特定周波数のマイクロ波の反射を抑制することができる。櫛部115を設けることにより、アンテナ113を微小サイズにしても3GHz程度のマイクロ波を効果的に放射させることができるので微小回路の検出に適したものとなる。このように、放射体であるアンテナ導体113は、第1櫛部1151を有する第1辺と、第2櫛部1152を有する第2辺とを有している。第1櫛部1151と第2櫛部1152とは、噛み合うように配置されて容量形成部を形成している。図12は、アンテナ導体113の反射特性の一例を説明するグラフである。図12は、パッド導体1142からみたS11反射特性の一例である。図12に示すS11反射特性によれば、アンテナ導体113からの2.7~2.9GHzのマイクロ波の反射が抑制され、アンテナ導体113から2.7~2.9GHzのマイクロ波が効果的に放射されることがわかる。
上記において、検出装置1の検出基板11と検出対象との間に、比透磁率の高い部材または流体を挿入してもよい。これにより、検出精度をより向上できる。

前記ダイヤモンド結晶に設けられた放射体と

前記放射体は、前記ダイヤモンド結晶のうち前記NVセンタが形成される面と反対側の面に配置される、
