Abstract
(A) 폴리아미드 수지 40 내지 70 중량%; 및 (B) 유리섬유를 포함하는 무기 필러 30 내지 60 중량%을 포함하는 기초재료 100 중량부에 대해 (C) 폴리에테르-에스테르-아미드 블록 공중합체 3 내지 10 중량부; 및 (D) 에틸렌-알파-올레핀 공중합체 1 내지 10 중량부를 포함하는, 열가소성 수지 조성물이 제공된다.
Description
본 발명은 열가소성 수지 조성물 및 이를 이용한 성형품에 관한 것이다.
최근 전기전자, 자동차, 건축자재, 레저용품 등에 다양하게 적용되고 있는 열가소성 수지는 기존의 유리나 금속의 영역을 빠르게 대체하고 있다. 이에 따라, 우수한 유동성, 내충격성, 기계적 강도 및 접착성 등을 구현할 수 있는 열가소성 수지에 대한 요구가 증대되고 있다.
특히 자동차 구조용 소재에 접착성을 부여하는 연구가 행해지고 있는데, 예를 들어 자동차 구조용 소재에 유리 등을 부착하기 위해서는 실란트(Sealant)를 도포해야 하는데, 실란트와 자동차 구조용 소재 간의 접착력이 좋지 않아 프라이머(Primer)를 자동차 구조용 소재에 도포해야 하므로, 프라이머 도포 공정이 반드시 필요하다는 단점이 있다.
이에, 별도의 프라이머 도포 공정 없이도 자동차 구조용 소재에 접착성을 부여할 수 있는 열가소성 수지 조성물이 필요한 실정이다.
일 구현예는 유동성, 내충격성, 기계적 강도, 외관 및 접착성이 우수한 열가소성 수지 조성물, 및 이를 이용한 성형품을 제공한다.
일 구현예에 따르면, (A) 폴리아미드 수지 40 내지 70 중량%; 및 (B) 유리섬유를 포함하는 무기 필러 30 내지 60 중량%를 포함하는 기초재료 100 중량부에 대해, (C) 폴리에테르-에스테르-아미드 블록 공중합체 3 내지 10 중량부; 및 (D) 에틸렌-알파-올레핀 공중합체 1 내지 10 중량부를 포함하는, 열가소성 수지 조성물이 제공된다.
상기 (A) 폴리아미드 수지는 폴리아미드 6, 폴리아미드 66, 폴리아미드 46, 폴리아미드 11, 폴리아미드 12, 폴리아미드 610, 폴리아미드 612, 폴리아미드 6I, 폴리아미드 6T, 폴리아미드 4T, 폴리아미드 410, 폴리아미드 510, 폴리아미드 1010, 폴리아미드 1012, 폴리아미드 10T, 폴리아미드 1212, 폴리아미드 12T, 폴리아미드 MXD6, 또는 이들의 조합을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 (A) 폴리아미드 수지는 폴리아미드 6을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 (B) 유리섬유를 포함하는 무기 필러는 탄소섬유를 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 (B) 무기 필러가 유리섬유와 탄소섬유를 함께 포함하는 경우, 상기 유리섬유와 탄소섬유의 중량비는 1:3 내지 3:1일 수 있다.
상기 (C) 폴리에테르-에스테르-아미드 블록 공중합체는 (i) 탄소수 6 이상의 아미노카르복실산, 락탐, 또는 디아민-디카르복실산의 염, (ii) 폴리알킬렌글리콜, 및 (iii) 탄소수 4 내지 20의 디카르복실산의 반응 혼합물일 수 있다.
상기 (D) 에틸렌-알파-올레핀 공중합체는 중량평균분자량이 10,000 내지 1,000,000 g/mol일 수 있다.
상기 (D) 에틸렌-알파-올레핀 공중합체는 에틸렌-1-옥텐 공중합체일 수 있다.
상기 열가소성 수지 조성물은 난연제, 핵제, 커플링제, 가소제, 충격보강제, 활제, 이형제, 열 안정제, 산화 방지제, 자외선 안정제, 안료, 염료 중에서 선택되는 적어도 하나의 첨가제를 더 포함할 수 있다.
다른 일 구현예에서, 상기 열가소성 수지 조성물로부터 제조된 성형품이 제공된다.
상기 성형품은 220℃, 10 kg 하중 조건에서 ASTM D1238에 따라 측정한 유동 지수가 6 g/10min 이상일 수 있다.
상기 성형품은 ASTM D256 규격에 따라 노치(notch)가 되어있는 1/8 inch 두께 시편에 대해 측정한 아이조드(Izod) 충격강도가 8 kgf·cm/cm 이상일 수 있다.
상기 성형품은 ASTM D638에 따라 1/8 inch 두께 시편에 대해 측정한 인장강도가 1,000 kgf/cm2 이상일 수 있다.
상기 성형품은 두께 3.2 mm 평판 시편에 대해 ISO 4287에 따라 측정한 표면조도(Ra)가 2.5 ㎛ 이하일 수 있다
유동성, 내충격성, 기계적 강도, 및 접착성이 우수한 열가소성 수지 조성물과, 이로부터 제조된 성형품을 제공할 수 있다.
상기 열가소성 수지 조성물과, 이로부터 제조된 성형품을 통해, 프라이머 도포 공정 등의 부가 공정 없이 자동차 구조용 소재에 접착성을 부여할 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 우수한 기계적 물성, 외관 특성 및 성형성 확보가 가능하다.
이하, 본 발명의 구현예를 상세히 설명하기로 한다. 다만, 이는 예시로서 제시되는 것으로, 이에 의해 본 발명이 제한되지는 않으며 본 발명은 후술할 청구항의 범주에 의해 정의될 뿐이다.
본 명세서에서 특별히 언급하지 않는 한 "공중합"이란 블록 공중합, 랜덤 공중합, 그라프트 공중합을 의미하고, "공중합체"란 블록 공중합체, 랜덤 공중합체, 그라프트 공중합체를 의미한다.
본 명세서에서 특별히 언급하지 않는 한 고무질 중합체의 평균 입경이란 체적평균 직경이고, 동적 광산란(Dynamic light scattering) 분석장비를 이용하여 측정한 Z-평균 입경을 의미한다.
본 명세서에서 특별히 언급하지 않는 한 중량평균분자량은 분체 시료를 적절한 용매에 녹인 후, Agilent Technologies社의 1200 series 겔 투과 크로마토그래피(Gel Permeation Chromatography; GPC)를 이용하여 측정(표준 시료는 Shodex社 폴리스티렌 사용)한 것이다.
일 구현예에 따른 열가소성 수지 조성물은 (A) 폴리아미드 수지 40 내지 70 중량%; 및 (B) 유리섬유를 포함하는 무기 필러 30 내지 60 중량%를 포함하는 기초재료 100 중량부에 대해 (C) 폴리에테르-에스테르-아미드 블록 공중합체 3 내지 10 중량부; 및 (D) 에틸렌-알파-올레핀 공중합체 1 내지 10 중량부를 포함한다.
이하, 상기 열가소성 수지 조성물에 포함되는 각 성분에 대하여 구체적으로 설명한다.
(A) 폴리아미드 수지
일 구현예에서, 폴리아미드 수지는 열가소성 수지 조성물이 우수한 유동성 및 외관 특성을 구현할 수 있도록 한다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 폴리아미드 수지로는 당해 기술 분야에 알려져 있는 다양한 폴리아미드 수지들, 예를 들면 방향족 폴리아미드 수지, 지방족 폴리아미드 수지, 또는 이들의 혼합물이 사용될 수 있으며, 특별히 제한되지 않는다.
상기 방향족 폴리아미드 수지는 주쇄에 방향족 기를 포함하는 폴리아미드로, 전방향족 폴리아미드, 반방향족 폴리아미드, 또는 이들의 혼합물일 수 있다.
상기 전방향족 폴리아미드는 방향족 디아민과 방향족 디카르복실산의 중합체를 의미하며, 상기 반방향족 폴리아미드는 아미드 결합 사이에 최소한 하나의 방향족 단위와 최소한 하나의 비방향족 단위를 함께 포함하는 것을 의미한다. 예를 들면, 상기 반방향족 폴리아미드는 방향족 디아민과 지방족 디카르복실산의 중합체이거나, 또는 지방족 디아민과 방향족 디카르복실산의 중합체일 수 있다.
한편, 상기 지방족 폴리아미드는 지방족 디아민과 지방족 디카르복실산의 중합체를 의미한다.
상기 방향족 디아민의 예로는, p-자일렌디아민, m-자일렌디아민 등을 들 수 있으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니다. 또한, 이들은 단독 또는 2종 이상 혼합하여 사용될 수 있다.
상기 방향족 디카르복실산의 예로는, 프탈산, 이소프탈산, 테레프탈산, 2,6-나프탈렌디카르복실산, (1,3-페닐렌디옥시)디아세틱산 등을 들 수 있으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니다. 또한, 이들은 단독 또는 2종 이상 혼합하여 사용될 수 있다.
상기 지방족 디아민의 예로는, 에틸렌디아민, 트리메틸렌디아민, 헥사메틸렌디아민, 도데카메틸렌디아민, 피페라진 등을 들 수 있으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니다. 또한, 이들은 단독 또는 2종 이상 혼합하여 사용될 수 있다.
상기 지방족 디카르복실산의 예로는, 아디프산, 세바식산, 숙신산, 글루타릭산, 아젤라익산, 도데칸디오익산, 다이머산, 사이클로헥산디카르복실산 등을 들 수 있으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니다. 또한, 이들은 단독 또는 2종 이상 혼합하여 사용될 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 폴리아미드 수지는 폴리아미드 6, 폴리아미드 66, 폴리아미드 46, 폴리아미드 11, 폴리아미드 12, 폴리아미드 610, 폴리아미드 612, 폴리아미드 6I, 폴리아미드 6T, 폴리아미드 4T, 폴리아미드 410, 폴리아미드 510, 폴리아미드 1010, 폴리아미드 1012, 폴리아미드 10T, 폴리아미드 1212, 폴리아미드 12T, 폴리아미드 MXD6, 또는 이들의 조합을 포함할 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 폴리아미드 수지는 폴리아미드 6을 포함할 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 폴리아미드 수지는 상기 기초재료 100 중량%에 대하여 40 내지 70 중량%, 예를 들어 45 내지 70 중량%, 예를 들어 50 내지 70 중량%로 포함될 수 있다.
상기 폴리아미드 수지의 함량이 전술한 범위를 만족할 경우, 열가소성 수지 조성물 및 이로부터 제조된 성형품은 폴리아미드 수지에 기인한 우수한 유동성 및 외관 등을 나타낼 수 있다.
(B) 유리섬유를 포함하는 무기 필러
일 구현예에서, 유리섬유를 포함하는 무기 필러는 열가소성 수지 조성물의 인장 강도 등의 기계적 강도를 향상시킬 수 있다.
일 구현예에 따른 무기 필러에 포함될 수 있는 유리섬유로는 통상의 열가소성 수지 조성물에 사용되는 유리섬유를 사용할 수 있다.
상기 유리섬유는 직경이 8 내지 20 ㎛이고, 길이가 1.5 내지 8 ㎜일 수 있다. 유리섬유의 직경 및 길이가 상기 범위인 경우 기계적 강도 및 외관이 우수할 수 있다.
상기 유리섬유는 단면이 원형, 타원형, 직사각형 또는 두 개의 원형이 연결된 아령 모양의 것을 사용할 수 있고, 단면의 형태, 직경, 길이 등이 서로 상이한 2종 이상을 혼합하여 사용할 수도 있다.
상기 유리섬유는 단면의 단축과 장축의 길이 비가 약 1:4 미만, 예를 들어, 약 1:2 미만일 수 있고, 상기 범위 내에서, 열가소성 수지 조성물의 우수한 기계적 물성 및 치수 안정성을 확보할 수 있다. 상기 유리섬유 단면의 단축과 장축의 길이 비는 섬유들 각각의 단면의 최단축의 길이:최장축의 길이 비율의 평균을 의미한다.
일 구현예에서, 단면이 원형인 유리섬유와 단면이 타원형인 유리섬유가 혼합 존재할 경우, 상기 유리섬유는 각각 약 1:4 내지 약 4:1의 중량비, 예를 들어 약 1:2 내지 약 2:1의 중량비로 혼합될 수 있다. 상기 비율 범위 내로 2종 이상의 유리섬유를 혼합하여 사용할 경우, 열가소성 수지 조성물의 물성이 더욱 향상될 수 있다.
한편, 일 구현예에 따른 무기 필러는 상기 유리섬유 외에, 탄소섬유, 현무암 섬유, 또는 이들의 조합 중 어느 하나인 섬유를 더 포함할 수 있다. 일 구현예에서, 상기 무기 필러는 유리섬유 외 탄소섬유를 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 탄소섬유는 직경이 0.1 내지 100 ㎛, 예를 들어 1 내지 50 ㎛, 예를 들어 1 내지 30 ㎛일 수 있으나, 이에 제한되지 않는다.
상기 탄소섬유가 유리섬유와 혼합되어 사용되는 경우, 상기 유리섬유 및 탄소섬유의 중량비는 1:3 내지 3:1일 수 있고, 예를 들어 1:2 내지 2:1일 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 유리섬유, 또는 상기 유리섬유와 탄소섬유를 함께 포함하는 무기 필러는, 상기 기초재료 100 중량%에 대하여 30 내지 60 중량%, 예를 들어 30 내지 55 중량%, 예를 들어 30 내지 50 중량%로 포함될 수 있다. 무기 필러의 함량이 전술한 범위를 만족할 경우, 열가소성 수지 조성물 및 이로부터 제조된 성형품이 우수한 기계적 강도를 나타낼 수 있다.
(C) 폴리에테르-에스테르-아미드(polyether-ester-amide) 블록 공중합체
일 구현예에서 폴리에테르-에스테르-아미드 블록 공중합체는 열가소성 수지 조성물 및 이로부터 제조된 성형품이 우수한 접착성을 나타내도록 할 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 폴리에테르-에스테르-아미드 블록 공중합체로, 예를 들면, 탄소수 6 이상의 아미노카르복실산, 락탐, 또는 디아민-디카르복실산의 염; 폴리알킬렌글리콜; 및 탄소수 4 내지 20의 디카르복실산의 반응 혼합물을 사용할 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 탄소수 6 이상의 아미노카르복실산, 락탐, 또는 디아민-디카르복실산의 염으로는, ω-아미노카프로산, ω-아미노에난트산, ω-아미노카프릴산, ω-아미노펠아르곤산, ω-아미노카프르산, 11-아미노운데칸산, 12-아미노도데칸산 등과 같은 아미노카르복실산류; ε-카프로락탐, 에난트락탐, 카프릴락탐, 라우로락탐 등과 같은 락탐류; 및 헥사메틸렌디아민-아디핀산의 염, 헥사메틸렌디아민-이소프탈산의 염 등과 같은 디아민-디카르복실산 염 등을 예시할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 12-아미노도데칸산, ε-카프로락탐, 헥사메틸렌디아민-아디핀산의 염 등이 사용될 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 폴리알킬렌글리콜로는, 폴리에틸렌글리콜, 폴리프로필렌글리콜, 폴리테트라메틸렌글리콜, 폴리헥사메틸렌글리콜, 에틸렌글리콜과 프로필렌글리콜의 블록 또는 랜덤 공중합체, 에틸렌글리콜과 테트라히드로퓨란의 공중합체 등을 예시할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 폴리에틸렌글리콜, 에틸렌글리콜과 프로필렌글리콜의 공중합체 등을 사용할 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 탄소수 4 내지 20의 디카르복실산으로는, 테레프탈산, 1,4-시클로헥산디카르복실산, 세바신산, 아디프산, 도데칸디오익산 등을 예시할 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 탄소수 6 이상의 아미노카르복실산, 락탐, 또는 디아민-디카르복실산의 염과 상기 폴리알킬렌글리콜의 결합은 에스테르 결합일 수 있고, 상기 탄소수 6 이상의 아미노카르복실산, 락탐, 또는 디아민-디카르복실산의 염과 상기 탄소수 4 내지 20의 디카르복실산의 결합은 아미드 결합일 수 있고, 또한 상기 폴리알킬렌글리콜과 상기 탄소수 4 내지 20의 디카르복실산의 결합은 에스테르 결합일 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 폴리에테르-에스테르-아미드 블록 공중합체는 공지된 합성방법에 의해 제조될 수 있으며, 예를 들면, 일본 특허공보 소56-045419 및 일본 특허공개 소55-133424에 개시된 합성방법에 따라 제조될 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 폴리에테르-에스테르-아미드 블록 공중합체는 폴리에테르-에스테르 블록을 10 내지 95 중량% 포함할 수 있다. 상기 범위에서, 일 구현예에 따른 열가소성 수지 조성물 및 이로부터 제조된 성형품의 접착성 및 내열성 등이 우수할 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 폴리에테르-에스테르-아미드 블록 공중합체는 상기 기초재료 100 중량부에 대하여, 3 내지 10 중량부, 예를 들어 3 내지 8 중량부로 포함될 수 있다. 상기 폴리에테르-에스테르-아미드 블록 공중합체의 함량이 전술한 범위를 만족할 경우, 열가소성 수지 조성물 및 이로부터 제조된 성형품이 우수한 유동성을 유지하면서 우수한 접착성과 외관을 나타낼 수 있다.
(D) 에틸렌-알파-올레핀 공중합체
일 구현예에서, 에틸렌-알파-올레핀 공중합체는 열가소성 수지 조성물이 우수한 내충격성을 구현할 수 있도록 한다.
상기 에틸렌-알파-올레핀 공중합체는 적어도 1종의 에틸렌 및 알파-올레핀 단량체를 중합하여 제조한다. 상기 알파-올레핀 단량체는 특별히 한정되지 않으나, 비제한적인 예로 프로필렌, 1-부텐, 1-헥센, 1-옥텐 등을 들 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 에틸렌-알파-올레핀 공중합체는 에틸렌-1-옥텐 공중합체일수 있다.
상기 에틸렌-알파-올레핀 공중합체는 중량평균분자량이 10,000 내지 1,000,000 g/mol, 예를 들어 30,000 내지 800,000 g/mol, 예를 들어 60,000 내지 500,000 g/mol일 수 있다.
상기 에틸렌-알파-올레핀 공중합체는 상기 기초재료 100 중량부에 대하여, 1 내지 10 중량부, 예를 들어 3 내지 10 중량부, 예를 들어 4 내지 8 중량부로 포함될 수 있다. 상기 에틸렌-알파-올레핀 공중합체의 함량이 전술한 범위를 만족할 경우, 열가소성 수지 조성물 및 이로부터 제조된 성형품이 우수한 내충격성을 나타낼 수 있다.
(E) 첨가제
일 구현예에 따른 열가소성 수지 조성물은 상기 성분 (A) 내지 (D) 외에도, 우수한 유동성, 내충격성, 기계적 강도 및 접착성을 발현할 수 있으면서도 다른 물성들의 저하가 발생하지 않으면서 각 물성들 간의 균형을 맞추기 위해, 혹은 상기 열가소성 수지 조성물의 최종 용도에 따라 필요한 1종 이상의 첨가제를 더 포함할 수 있다.
구체적으로, 상기 첨가제로서는, 난연제, 핵제, 커플링제, 가소제, 충격보강제, 활제, 이형제, 열 안정제, 산화 방지제, 자외선 안정제, 안료, 염료 등이 사용될 수 있고 이들은 단독으로 혹은 2종 이상의 조합으로 사용될 수 있다.
이들 첨가제는, 열가소성 수지 조성물의 물성을 저해하지 않는 범위 내에서 적절히 포함될 수 있고, 구체적으로는 기초재료 100 중량부 대비 20 중량부 이하로 포함될 수 있으나, 이에 제한되는 것은 아니다.
한편, 일 구현예에 따른 열가소성 수지 조성물은 다른 수지 혹은 다른 고무 성분과 혼합되어 함께 사용하는 것도 가능하다.
한편, 다른 구현예는 일 구현예에 따른 열가소성 수지 조성물을 이용하여 제조된 성형품을 제공한다. 상기 성형품은 상기 열가소성 수지 조성물을 이용하여 사출 성형, 압출 성형 등 당해 기술 분야에 공지된 다양한 방법으로 제조할 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 성형품은 220℃, 10 kg 하중 조건에서 ASTM D1238에 따라 측정한 유동 지수가 6 g/10min 이상일 수 있다. 예를 들어, 상기 유동 지수는 6 g/10min 이상, 7 g/10min 이상, 또는 8 g/10min 이상일 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 성형품은 ASTM D256 규격에 따라 노치(notch)가 되어있는 1/8 inch 두께 시편에 대해 측정한 아이조드(Izod) 충격강도가 8 kgf·cm/cm 이상일 수 있다. 예를 들어, 상기 아이조드 충격강도는 8 kgf·cm/cm 이상, 9 kgf·cm/cm 이상, 또는 10 kgf·cm/cm 이상일 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 성형품은 ASTM D638에 따라 1/8 inch 두께 시편에 대해 측정한 인장강도가 1,000 kgf/cm2 이상일 수 있다. 예를 들어, 상기 인장강도는 1,100 kgf/cm2 이상, 또는 1,200 kgf/cm2 이상일 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 상기 성형품은 두께 3.2 mm 평판 시편에 대해 ISO 4287에 따라 측정한 Ra, 즉 표면조도가 2.5 ㎛ 이하일 수 있다. 상기 표면조도는, 예를 들어 2.3 ㎛ 이하, 예를 들어 2.1 ㎛ 이하, 예를 들어 2.0 ㎛ 이하일 수 있다.
이하, 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 기재한다. 다만, 하기의 실시예는 본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예일뿐, 본 발명이 하기 실시예에 의해 한정되는 것은 아니다.
실시예 1 내지 6 및 비교예 1 내지 6
실시예 1 내지 6 및 비교예 1 내지 6의 열가소성 수지 조성물은 각각 하기 표 1에 각각 기재된 성분 함량비에 따라 제조되었다.
표 1에 기재된 성분을 혼합 후 이축 압출기(L/D=44, Φ=35 mm)의 공급부(베럴 온도: 약 260℃에 정량적으로 연속 투입하여 압출/혼련하여 펠렛(Pellet) 형태의 열가소성 수지 조성물을 제조하였다. 이어서, 펠렛 형태의 열가소성 수지 조성물을 약 100℃에서 약 4 시간 동안 건조한 후, 실린더(cylinder) 온도 약 260℃, 금형 온도 약 80℃로 설정한 6 oz 사출 성형기를 이용하여 물성 측정용 시편을 제조하였다. 측정된 물성들은 하기 표 2 및 표 3에 나타내었다.
표 1에서, (A), (B) 및 (B')의 중량은 기초재료 총 중량에 대한 중량%로 나타내었고, (C) 및 (D) 성분의 중량은 기초재료((A)+(B)) 100 중량부에 대한 중량부로 나타내었다.

상기 표 1 에 기재된 각 구성에 대한 설명은 다음과 같다.
(A) 폴리아미드 수지
KP Chemtech社의 폴리아미드 6 수지(제품명: EN 300)를 사용하였다.
(B) 유리섬유
NEG社의 단면이 원형이고 직경이 약 10 ㎛, 평균 길이가 약 3 mm인 유리섬유(제품명: ECS03T-251H)를 사용하였다.
(B') 탄소섬유
선영산업社의 직경이 약 7 ㎛, 평균 길이가 약 6 mm인 탄소섬유(제품명: SYC-TR-PU6)를 사용하였다.
(C) 폴리에테르-에스테르-아미드 블록 공중합체
Sanyo Chemical Industries社의 폴리아미드 6-폴리에틸렌 옥사이드 블록 공중합체(제품명: PELECTRON AS)를 사용하였다.
(D) 에틸렌-알파-올레핀 공중합체
Dupont社의 에틸렌-1-옥텐 공중합체(제품명: MN493D)를 사용하였다.
물성 평가
실험 결과를 하기 표 2 및 표 3에 나타내었다.
(1) 유동성(단위: g/10min)
220℃, 10 kg 하중 조건에서 ASTM D1238에 따라 유동지수(melt flow index, MI)를 측정하였다.
(2) 내충격성(단위: kgf·cm/cm)
노치(notch)가 되어있는 1/8 inch 두께 시편에 대해 ASTM D256 규격에 따라 아이조드(Izod) 충격강도를 측정하였다.
(3) 기계적 강도(단위: kgf/cm2)
두께 1/8 인치 시편에 대하여 ASTM D790에 따라 인장강도를 측정하였다.
(4) 외관(단위: ㎛)
두께 3.2 mm 평판 시편에 대해 ISO 4287에 따라 표면조도(Ra) 값을 측정하였다. 표면조도가 낮을수록 외관이 우수한 것으로 판단하였다.
(5) 실란트 접착성
지그(jig)를 이용하여 두께 3.2 mm 평판 시편을 수평 고정한 후 오븐에서 40℃로 30분 동안 예열한 우레탄계 실란트(DOW Chemical社, BS15506KN)를 직경 1 cm의 노즐을 이용하여 20 cm의 길이로 평판 시편 위에 토출하여 세로 방향으로 이중 안착시킨다. 다음, 5 mm 높이의 스페이서(spacer)를 평판 시편의 양 옆에 배치한 다음, 평판 시편 위에 도포된 우레탄계 실란트 위에 이형지를 배치하고, 평판 시편 위에 도포된 우레탄계 실란트의 두께가 5 mm 가 되도록 수직 압착한다.
이후, 이형지를 제거한 다음 20℃의 온도, 65 RH%의 습도 조건으로 72 시간 동안 양생하고, 90℃에서 336 시간 방치 후, 20℃, 65 RH%에서 1 시간 더 방치 평가용 시편을 완성한다.
다음, 20℃의 온도, 65 RH%의 습도 조건 하에서 지그를 이용하여 평가용 시편이 지면과 45˚의 각도를 이루도록 조절 및 고정한다. 이후, 우레탄계 실란트층의 네 측부 중, 지면을 기준으로 가장 상부에 위치한 측부를 약 2 cm 박리한 다음, 박리된 우레탄계 실란트층과 평판 시편 사이에 칼집을 형성하여 박리 시작 지점을 기록한다.
이후, 박리된 부분을 플라이어(pliers)를 이용하여 고정한 다음, 수평방향으로 당겨 우레탄계 실란트층이 약 1 cm 더 박리되도록 조절하고, 박리된 우레탄계 실란트층과 평판 시편 사이에 칼집을 형성하여 1 cm 추가 박리된 지점을 기록한다.
이후, 우레탄계 실란트층이 평판 시편으로부터 완전히 박리될 때까지 상기 1 cm 박리 및 박리 지점 기록 과정을 반복 수행한다.
이후, 우레탄계 실란트층이 박리된 평판 시편의 표면 중, 우레탄계 실란트가 응집파괴된 채 남아있는 면적을 평가함으로써 평판 시편과 우레탄계 실란트층의 접착력을 평가한다. 우레탄계 실란트층이 박리된 평판 시편의 표면으로부터 우레탄계 실란트가 깨끗이 박리되지 않고 응집파괴된 채로 남아있을수록 평판 시편과 우레판계 실란트층 간의 접착력이 우수한 것이다.
구체적으로는, 우레탄계 실란트가 응집파괴된 채로 남아 있는 면적이 최초 우레탄계 실란트층이 형성되었던 면적 100 %에 대하여 90 % 이상인 경우를 O로, 90 % 이하인 경우를 X로 판정하였다.

표 1 내지 표 3로부터, 실시예들의 열가소성 수지 조성물의 경우 비교예들의 열가소성 수지 조성물과 달리, 유동성, 내충격성, 기계적 강도, 외관이 우수하면서, 실란트 접착성 또한 우수한 것을 확인할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 열가소성 수지 조성물과, 이로부터 제조된 성형품을 통해, 우수한 기계적 물성 및 성형성을 확보하면서도, 프라이머 도포 공정 등의 추가적인 공정 없이 자동차 구조용 소재 또는 차체에 실란트 접착성을 부여할 수 있다.
이상에서 본 발명의 바람직한 구현예들에 대하여 상세하게 설명하였지만 본 발명의 권리 범위는 이에 한정되는 것은 아니고 첨부된 청구 범위에서 정의하고 있는 본 발명의 기본 개념을 이용한 당업자의 여러 변형 및 개량 형태 또한 본 발명의 권리 범위에 속하는 것이다.
Claims (14)
- (A) 폴리아미드 수지 40 내지 70 중량%; 및(B) 유리섬유를 포함하는 무기 필러 30 내지 60 중량%을 포함하는 기초 수지 100 중량부에 대해(C) 폴리에테르-에스테르-아미드 블록 공중합체 3 내지 10 중량부; 및(D) 에틸렌-알파-올레핀 공중합체 1 내지 10 중량부를 포함하는,열가소성 수지 조성물.
- 제1항에서, 상기 (A) 폴리아미드 수지는 폴리아미드 6, 폴리아미드 66, 폴리아미드 46, 폴리아미드 11, 폴리아미드 12, 폴리아미드 610, 폴리아미드 612, 폴리아미드 6I, 폴리아미드 6T, 폴리아미드 4T, 폴리아미드 410, 폴리아미드 510, 폴리아미드 1010, 폴리아미드 1012, 폴리아미드 10T, 폴리아미드 1212, 폴리아미드 12T, 폴리아미드 MXD6, 또는 이들의 조합을 포함하는, 열가소성 수지 조성물.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에서, 상기 (A) 폴리아미드 수지는 폴리아미드 6을 포함하는, 열가소성 수지 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에서, (B) 유리섬유를 포함하는 무기 필러는 탄소섬유를 더 포함하는, 열가소성 수지 조성물.
- 제4항에서, 상기 유리섬유 및 탄소섬유의 중량비는 1:3 내지 3:1인, 열가소성 수지 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에서, 상기 (C) 폴리에테르-에스테르-아미드 블록 공중합체는 (i) 탄소수 6 이상의 아미노카르복실산, 락탐, 또는 디아민-디카르복실산의 염, (ii) 폴리알킬렌글리콜, 및 (iii) 탄소수 4 내지 20의 디카르복실산의 반응 혼합물인, 열가소성 수지 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에서, 상기 (D) 에틸렌-알파-올레핀 공중합체는 중량평균분자량이 10,000 내지 1,000,000 g/mol인, 열가소성 수지 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에서, 상기 (D) 에틸렌-알파-올레핀 공중합체는 에틸렌-1-옥텐 공중합체인, 열가소성 수지 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에서, 항균제, 난연제, 핵제, 커플링제, 충전제, 가소제, 충격보강제, 활제, 이형제, 열 안정제, 산화 방지제, 자외선 안정제, 안료, 염료 중에서 선택되는 적어도 하나의 첨가제를 더 포함하는, 열가소성 수지 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 열가소성 수지 조성물로부터 제조된 성형품.
- 제10항에서,상기 성형품은 220℃, 10 kg 하중 조건에서 ASTM D1238에 따라 측정한 유동 지수가 6.0 g/10min 이상인, 성형품.
- 제10항 또는 제11항에서,상기 성형품은 ASTM D256 규격에 따라 노치(notch)가 되어있는 1/8 inch 두께의 시편에 대해 측정한 아이조드(Izod) 충격강도가 8 kgf·cm/cm 이상인, 성형품.
- 제10항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항에서,상기 성형품은 ASTM D638에 따라 두께 1/8 inch 두께 시편에 대해 측정한 인장강도가 1,000 kgf/cm2 이상인, 성형품.
- 제10항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에서,상기 성형품은 두께 3.2 mm 평판 시편에 대해 ISO 4287에 따라 측정한 표면조도(Ra)가 2.5 ㎛ 이하인, 성형품.
