本発明の毛髪化粧料は、下記成分(A)~(D)を含有する。
(A)アニオン性ポリマー
(B)アニオン性界面活性剤
(C)セルロース骨格を有するカチオン性ポリマー
(D)架橋型カチオン性ビニルポリマー
なお、本発明において、「成分Xを含有している」とは、「成分Xが配合されてなる」ことと同義とみなすものとする。
図1は、毛髪の形状固定化を説明するための図であり、毛束の上端を固定して吊るした状態の正面から見た写真を図示したものである。図1中、(a)は未処理の評価用毛束を示し、(b)は(a)の未処理の評価用毛束を本発明の毛髪化粧料で処理し、リングコームでストレート状に整えてドライヤーで完全に乾燥させた状態を示している。
すなわち、本発明において、「毛髪の形状固定化力」とは、例えば、図1(a)に示すようなクセがある毛髪を束ねて、図1(b)に示すようなストレート状にしつつ、乾燥してもその形状が維持されるような、その形状を強く固定化する力をいう。なお、本発明において、「毛髪の形状固定」とは、毛髪同士が結着し、毛髪の束が一定の形状に固定されている状態を意味し、トップから毛先まで毛髪のラインが美しく乱れていない状態を意味する「毛髪のまとまり」とは異なる状態である。
本発明の毛髪化粧料は、成分(A)としてアニオン性ポリマー、成分(B)としてアニオン性界面活性剤、成分(C)としてセルロース骨格を有するカチオン性ポリマー、及び、成分(D)として架橋型カチオン性ビニルポリマーを含有する。
アニオン性ポリマーである成分(A)及びアニオン性界面活性剤である成分(B)と、カチオン性ポリマーである成分(C)及び成分(D)とは、相互作用により複合体ゲルを形成することが可能である。
そして、本発明の毛髪化粧料を適用した毛髪をすすぐ際に、過剰のアニオン性界面活性剤である成分(B)が洗い流され、該複合体ゲルが毛髪表面に析出し、毛髪表面に結着性を有する複合体ゲル膜が形成されると考えられる。
結着性を有する複合体ゲル膜が形成された毛髪は、該複合体ゲル膜により毛髪同士が相互に結着して互いに支え合うことにより毛髪の形状が固定化されると考えられる。
ここで、成分(C)は毛髪への付着性に優れるため、毛髪全体に均一に吸着しやすく、成分(D)は保水性に優れ、形成される複合体ゲルの総量を増大させることができる。両者の働きにより、毛髪に対して多量のゲルを吸着させることが可能となる。
以上から、本発明の毛髪化粧料は、成分(A)~成分(D)を組み合わせることで、結着力が良好な皮膜を毛髪全体に均一に形成できるため、毛髪を束ねて一定の形状を付与しつつ、束ねた毛髪の形状を固定化するための形状固定化力を向上させることができると考えられる。
本発明の毛髪化粧料の剤型は、例えば、液体状、泡状、ペースト状、クリーム状等の任意の剤型とすることができる。これらのうち、使用しやすさ等の観点から、液体状、ペースト状又はクリーム状であることが好ましく、液体状であることがより好ましい。
本発明の毛髪化粧料は、成分(A)としてアニオン性ポリマーを含有する。
アニオン性ポリマーとしては、例えば、アニオン性基としてカルボキシ基又はスルホン酸基を有するビニル系ポリマーが挙げられる。汎用性の観点からは、カルボキシ基を有するビニル系ポリマーが好ましく、例えば、クロトン酸、マレイン酸、マレイン酸モノエステル、イタコン酸、又は(メタ)アクリル酸に由来する構成単位を含むビニル系ポリマーが挙げられる。
成分(A)のカルボキシ基を有するビニル系ポリマーは、アクリル酸の重合体が好ましい。また、成分(A)のカルボキシ基を有するビニル系ポリマーにおけるメタクリル酸アルキル由来の構成単位の含有量は、5質量%以下であることが好ましく、1質量%以下であることがより好ましく、0.5質量%以下であることが更に好ましく、0.1質量%以下であることが更に好ましく、成分(A)のカルボキシ基を有するビニル系ポリマーはメタクリル酸アルキルを構成モノマーとして含まないことが更に好ましい。このため、アクリル酸よりも親水性に劣るメタクリル酸アルキルをモノマー構成単位として含むポリマーよりも、水性媒体中で、成分(C)及び成分(D)との相互作用により、毛髪の形状固定化力をより向上させることができる。
また、成分(A)のポリマーは、架橋型であることが好ましい。成分(A)が架橋型のポリマーであることによって、毛髪の保水性向上効果が高く、毛髪の形状固定化力をより向上させることができる。
成分(A)は、毛髪の形状固定化力をより向上させる観点から、架橋型ポリアクリル酸及び(アクリレーツ/アクリル酸アルキル(C10-30))クロスポリマーから選択される少なくとも一種を含むことが好ましく、架橋型ポリアクリル酸及び(アクリレーツ/アクリル酸アルキル(C10-30))クロスポリマーから選択される少なくとも一種であることがより好ましく、架橋型ポリアクリル酸であることが更に好ましい。
成分(A)は、アニオン性基としてカルボキシ基を有するビニル系ポリマーが好ましく、カチオン性を有するカチオン性ポリマーである成分(C)及び成分(D)との相互作用によって複合体ゲルを形成する。該複合体ゲルによる毛髪の保水性向上効果及び毛髪同士を結着させる効果により、毛髪の形状固定化力を向上させることができる。
(アクリレーツ/アクリル酸アルキル(C10-30))クロスポリマーは、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸又はこれらの単純エステルからなるモノマー1種以上とアクリル酸アルキル(C10-30)の共重合体をショ糖のアリルエーテル又はペンタエリスリトールのアリルエーテルで架橋したものであり、INCI名は、Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Cross Polymerである。
本発明の毛髪化粧料は、成分(B)としてアニオン性界面活性剤を含有する。
ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテル硫酸塩としては、下記式(I)で表される化合物が挙げられる。
R1-O-(CH2CH2O)p-SO3Y (I)
式(I)中、R1は、炭素数8以上22以下の直鎖又は分岐アルキル基を示す。pは平均付加モル数を示し、0.25以上20以下の数である。Yはアルカリ金属、アルカリ土類金属、アンモニウム、アルカノールアミン又は塩基性アミノ酸を示す。
式(I)におけるR1の具体例としては、2-エチルヘキシル基、n-オクチル基、ノニル基、n-デシル基、イソデシル基、ウンデシル基、n-ドデシル基、ラウリル基、トリデシル基、ミリスチル基、ペンタデシル基、パルミチル基、ヘプタデシル基、ステアリル基、イソステアリル基、ノナデシル基、イコシル基、へンイコシル基、及びドコシル基を挙げることができる。これらの中でも、R1は、好ましくは直鎖アルキル基であり、より好ましくはn-オクチル基、n-デシル基、ラウリル基、ミリスチル基、セチル基、及びステアリル基からなる群から選ばれる1種以上であり、更に好ましくはn-デシル基、ラウリル基、ミリスチル基、セチル基、及びステアリル基からなる群から選ばれる1種以上、更に好ましくはラウリル基である。
更にR1は、ヤシ油、パーム油、パーム核油、大豆油、ナタネ油、牛脂、豚脂、又は魚油等の天然物に含まれる複数の脂肪酸に由来するアルキル基であってもよい。この場合、前記式(I)で表される化合物は、互いに異なるアルキル基を有する複数の化合物の混合物として得られる。
式(I)中のYは、アルカリ金属、アルカリ土類金属、アンモニウム、アルカノールアミン又は塩基性アミノ酸を示し、好ましくはアルカリ金属又はアンモニウムである。
アルカリ金属としては、リチウム、ナトリウム、又はカリウムが好ましい。アンモニウムは、アルキルアンモニウムやアルカノールアンモニウムであってもよい。
Yは、毛髪の形状固定化力をより向上させる観点から、好ましくはナトリウム、カリウム、及びアンモニウムからなる群から選ばれる1種以上、より好ましくはナトリウム及びアンモニウムからなる群から選ばれる1種以上である。
ラウレス硫酸ナトリウムの具体例としては、花王株式会社製の「エマール227HP」、「エマール125HP」等、ラウレス硫酸アンモニウムの具体例としては、花王株式会社製の「エマール170S-A」等が挙げられる。
α-オレフィンスルホン酸塩を構成するα-オレフィンスルホン酸の対イオンとしては、ナトリウムイオン、カリウムイオン等のアルカリ金属イオン;カルシウムイオン、マグネシウムイオン等のアルカリ土類金属イオン;アンモニウムイオン;炭素数2又は3のアルカノール基を1個以上3個以下有するアルカノールアンモニウム(例えばモノエタノールアンモニウム、ジエタノールアンモニウム、トリエタノールアンモニウム、トリイソプロパノールアンモニウム等)が挙げられる。
α-オレフィンスルホン酸の対イオンは、毛髪の形状固定化力をより向上させる観点から、好ましくはナトリウム、カリウム、及びアンモニウムからなる群から選ばれる1種以上、より好ましくはナトリウムである。
α-オレフィンスルホン酸塩の具体例としては、炭素数が好ましくは8以上22以下、より好ましくは10以上18以下のα-オレフィンのスルホン酸ナトリウム等が挙げられる。
ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテル硫酸塩及びα-オレフィンスルホン酸塩以外の上記アニオン性界面活性剤が有するアルキル基、アルケニル基等の炭化水素基、又は構成脂肪酸は、好ましくは炭素数8以上22以下、より好ましくは炭素数8以上18以下、更に好ましくは炭素数10以上18以下である。
内部オレフィンとは、二重結合をオレフィン鎖の内部に有するオレフィンであり、二重結合の位置が炭素鎖の1位に存在する、いわゆるα-オレフィンを微量に含有する場合も含む広義の意味である。
内部オレフィンをスルホン化すると、定量的にβ-サルトンが生成し、β-サルトンの一部は、γ-サルトン、オレフィンスルホン酸へと変化し、更にこれらは中和及び加水分解工程により、ヒドロキシアルカンスルホン酸塩と、内部オレフィンスルホン酸塩へと転換される。ここで、得られるヒドロキシアルカンスルホン酸塩のヒドロキシ基は、アルカン鎖の内部にあり、内部オレフィンスルホン酸塩の二重結合はオレフィン鎖の内部にある。
内部オレフィンの平均二重結合位置は、好ましくは3.0以上、より好ましくは3.5以上、更に好ましくは3.7以上であり、そして、好ましくは5.0以下、より好ましくは4.5以下である。
上記アルキル硫酸塩としては、ラウリル硫酸ナトリウム等が挙げられる。アルキルエーテルカルボン酸塩としては、ラウレス酢酸ナトリウム等のポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテル酢酸塩が挙げられる。N-アシルアミノ酸塩としては、ココイルアラニン塩等が挙げられる。
本発明の毛髪化粧料は、成分(C)としてセルロース骨格を有するカチオン性ポリマーを含有する。
本発明において「セルロース骨格を有するカチオン性ポリマー」とは、カチオン性基と、セルロース骨格とを有し、かつ、全体としてカチオン電荷であるポリマーを意味する。また、カチオン性基とは、カチオン基、又は、イオン化されてカチオン基になり得る基をいい、例えば、4級アンモニウム基、又は、プロトンを付加することで3級アミノ基に転換が可能な3級アミノ基を意味する。
成分(C)の疎水性カチオン化セルロースとしては、疎水性カチオン化ヒドロキシエチルセルロースや、疎水性カチオン化ヒドロキシプロピルセルロースが挙げられ、疎水性カチオン化ヒドロキシエチルセルロースが好ましい。
式(3)中、R7、R8及びR9は、それぞれ独立に下記式(4)で表されるカチオン化エチレンオキシ基とエチレンオキシ基を有する置換基を示し、nはアンヒドログルコースの平均重合度であって50以上5000以下の数を示す。
式(5)中、R10~R12はそれぞれ独立に炭素数1以上18以下の直鎖又は分岐鎖のアルキル基を示し、X-はアニオン性基を示す。ただし、分子内に存在するR12のうち少なくとも1つは炭素数8以上18以下の直鎖又は分岐鎖のアルキル基である。
これらの中でも、ポリクオタニウム-67及びポリクオタニウム-10から選択される少なくとも一種が好ましく、ポリクオタニウム-67がより好ましい。
本発明の毛髪化粧料は、成分(D)として架橋型カチオン性ビニルポリマーを含有する。
成分(D)の架橋型カチオン性ビニルポリマーとしては、例えば、下記モノマー(d1)~(d3)を共重合することにより得られる架橋型カチオン性ビニルポリマーが挙げられる。
モノマー(d1)は、下記式(1)で表されるモノマーから選ばれる少なくとも1種である。
式(1)中、R1は水素原子又はメチル基を示し、R2は水素原子、炭素数1以上4以下の直鎖状又は分岐状のアルキル基又はアルケニル基を示し、R3は炭素数1以上4以下の直鎖状又は分岐状のアルキル基又はアルケニル基を示す。
式(1)中、R1は好ましくは水素原子を示し、R2は好ましくは炭素数1以上4以下の直鎖状又は分岐状のアルキル基、より好ましくは炭素数1以上4以下の直鎖状のアルキル基、更に好ましくはメチル基を示し、R3は好ましくは炭素数1以上4以下の直鎖状又は分岐状のアルキル基、より好ましくは炭素数1以上4以下の直鎖状のアルキル基、更に好ましくはメチル基を示す。
モノマー(d2)は、下記式(2)で表されるモノマーから選ばれる少なくとも1種である。
式(2)中、R1は水素原子又はメチル基を示し、R4及びR5は、それぞれ独立に炭素数1以上4以下のアルキル基又はアルケニル基を示し、R6は水素原子又は炭素数1以上4以下のアルキル基を示し、Y1は-O-、-NH-、-CH2-又は-O-CH2CH(OH)-基を示し、Y1が-CH2-のとき、Z1は単結合又は炭素数1以上3以下の直鎖状若しくは分岐状の二価の飽和炭化水素基を示し、Y1が-CH2-以外のとき、Z1は炭素数1以上4以下の直鎖状又は分岐状の二価の飽和炭化水素基を示し、Qは酸の共役塩基を示す。
式(2)中、R1は好ましくはメチル基を示し、R4及びR5は、それぞれ独立に好ましくは直鎖状又は分岐状の炭素数1以上4以下のアルキル基、より好ましくは直鎖状の炭素数1以上4以下のアルキル基、更に好ましくはメチル基を示し、R6は好ましくは直鎖状の炭素数1以上4以下のアルキル基、より好ましくはエチル基を示し、Y1は好ましくは-O-を示し、Z1は好ましくは炭素数1以上4以下の直鎖状の二価の飽和炭化水素基、より好ましくはエチレン基を示し、Qは好ましくはエチル硫酸を示す。
モノマー(d3)は、2個以上の反応性不飽和基を有する架橋性モノマーである。モノマー(d3)としては、エチレングリコールジ(メタ)アクリレートが好ましい。
ポリクオタニウム-52の市販品としては、例えば、ソフケアKG-101W-E、ソフケアKG-301W(以上、花王株式会社製)が挙げられる。
本発明の毛髪化粧料には、その態様や剤型等に応じて、ハンドリング性及び成分(A)~(D)の作用効果を発揮させやすいようにする等の観点から、水性媒体を含有させることができる。
水性媒体としては、例えば、水、エタノール、イソプロピルアルコール等の低級アルコール;1,3-ブチレングリコール、グリセリン、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、ジプロピレングリコール等の炭素数6以下の低分子ジオール及びトリオール等が挙げられる。これらのうち、1種単独で用いても、2種以上を併用してもよい。これらの中でも、水性媒体として水を含むことが好ましい。
本発明の毛髪化粧料中の水性媒体の含有量は、毛髪化粧料を適切な濃度及び粘度に調整する観点から、好ましくは60質量%以上、より好ましくは65質量%以上、更に好ましくは70質量%以上、更に好ましくは75質量%以上であり、同様の観点から、好ましくは99質量%以下、より好ましくは98質量%以下、更に好ましくは97質量%以下、更に好ましくは96質量%以下である。これらの観点を総合すると、本発明の毛髪化粧料中の水性媒体の含有量は、好ましくは60質量%以上99質量%以下、より好ましくは65質量%以上98質量%以下、更に好ましくは70質量%以上97質量%以下、更に好ましくは75質量%以上96質量%以下である。
本発明の毛髪化粧料は、常法により製造することができる。例えば、成分(A)~(D)及び必要に応じて他の成分を配合し、公知の撹拌装置等を用いて混合することにより製造できる。
本発明の毛髪処理方法は、上記の本発明の毛髪化粧料を毛髪に適用する工程と、該毛髪化粧料を適用した毛髪を水ですすぐ工程とを有する。
毛髪化粧料を毛髪に適用する方法としては、例えば、毛髪に、塗布、噴霧又は流延したり、毛髪を毛髪化粧料に浸漬させたりする等の方法が挙げられる。適用する毛髪は、乾いていても、湿っていてもよく、好ましくは、ブラシや櫛等で毛髪をとかした後、洗髪して濡れた状態である。毛髪化粧料の適用は、手で塗りつけたり、揉み込んだりしてもよく、また、ブラシや櫛等を用いて行ってもよい。また、毛髪化粧料を適用する毛髪は、頭髪の全部であってもよく、その一部であってもよい。
毛髪に対する毛髪化粧料の適用量は、適用する毛髪の質量に対する浴比(毛髪化粧料の質量/適用する毛髪の質量)で、好ましくは0.01以上、より好ましくは0.03以上、更に好ましくは0.05以上、更に好ましくは0.08以上であり、そして、好ましくは20以下、より好ましくは15以下、更に好ましくは10以下、更に好ましくは5以下、更に好ましくは1以下、更に好ましくは0.5以下である。これらの観点を総合すると、毛髪に対する毛髪化粧料の適用量は、適用する毛髪の質量に対する浴比(毛髪化粧料の質量/適用する毛髪の質量)で、好ましくは0.01以上20以下、より好ましくは0.03以上15以下、更に好ましくは0.05以上10以下、更に好ましくは0.08以上5以下、更に好ましくは0.08以上1以下、更に好ましくは0.08以上0.5以下である。
水ですすぐ工程は、毛髪表面の過剰な毛髪化粧料を除去できればよく、水ですすぐ時間は、好ましくは5秒間以上3分間以下である。水の温度は、身体に負担が掛からない程度でよく、好ましくは15℃以上50℃以下、より好ましくは25℃以上45℃以下である。
本発明の毛髪化粧料を用いて、毛髪、特に、クセがある毛髪を、上記のように処理することにより、毛髪を束ねて一定の形状を付与できるとともに、束ねた毛髪の形状を固定化するための形状固定化力を向上させることができる。このため、特に、クセがある毛髪のスタイリングにおいて、要する時間や手間を削減することができ、好適に適用することができる。

下記表1~4に示す各実施例及び各比較例の組成の毛髪化粧料を調製し、評価用毛束を用いて、これらの毛髪化粧料による毛髪の形状固定化力の評価を行った。評価結果を表1~4にそれぞれ示す。
[実施例1~23、比較例1~5]
成分(C)又はグアーヒドロキシプロピルトリモニウムクロリドと成分(D)とを水に溶解又は均一分散させたもの、適量の水、及び成分(B)をビーカーにそれぞれ取り、これらの成分を80℃で均一に混合した。得られた混合物に、水に均一分散させた成分(A)を加えて、室温に冷却して均一に混合し、pH調整剤(水酸化ナトリウム)を用いてpHを6とし(測定温度25℃)、毛髪化粧料をそれぞれ得た。ここで、各成分の配合割合は、表1~3に記載の通りである。
成分(C)と成分(D)を水に溶解又は均一分散させたもの、適量の水、成分(B)、及びラウラミドプロピルベタインをビーカーにそれぞれ取り、これらの成分を80℃で均一に混合した。得られた混合物に、ラノリン脂肪酸、ステアロキシプロピルジメチルアミン、ベンジルアルコール、及び2-フェノキシエタノールを60℃で加温して溶解させた混合液を加え、さらに水に均一分散させた成分(A)を加えて、室温に冷却して均一に混合した。更に(ビスイソブチルPEG-14/アモジメチコン)コポリマー及び/又はクオタニウム-80を加えて均一に混合し、リンゴ酸を添加し、最後にpH調整剤(水酸化ナトリウム)を用いてpHを6もしくは9.5とし(測定温度25℃)、毛髪化粧料をそれぞれ得た。ここで、各成分の配合割合は、表4に記載の通りである。
質量2g、長さ35cmのカーリー毛束を、下記に示す組成からなるプレーンシャンプーで洗浄し、温水(35-40℃)で十分にすすいだ。次いで、この毛束に対して、各実施例及び各比較例に示す組成の毛髪化粧料0.2gを塗布して1分間なじませた。次いで、毛髪化粧料を適用した毛束を温水(35-40℃)で30秒間すすいだ。その後、毛束をリングコームでストレートに整えてタオルドライをおこない、ディフューザーを設置したドライヤーで完全に乾燥させて評価用毛束をそれぞれ得た。
得られた評価用毛束の長さ及び毛束の根元から20cm地点の束幅をそれぞれ測定し、毛髪の形状固定化力を評価した。毛束の幅方向の固定化力は、束幅(cm)で評価した。毛束の長さ方向の固定化力は、Δ長さ(cm)=(処理前に引き延ばしたときの毛束の長さ)-(処理後の毛束の長さ)で評価した。束幅及びΔ長さが小さいほど毛束の形状固定化力に優れていることを意味する。
ここで、「処理前に引き延ばしたときの毛束の長さ」は、処理前のカーリー毛束を手で軽く引き伸ばし、カールした毛束をストレート状にしたときの長さである。

(i)原料オレフィンの二重結合位置の測定方法
原料オレフィンの二重結合位置は、ガスクロマトグラフィー(以下、GCと省略)により測定した。具体的には、原料オレフィンに対しジメチルジスルフィドを反応させることでジチオ化誘導体とした後、各成分をGCで分離した。結果、それぞれのピーク面積より原料オレフィンの二重結合位置を求めた。
なお、測定に使用した装置および分析条件は次の通りである。GC装置(商品名:HP6890,HEWLETT PACKARD社製)、カラム(商品名:Ultra-Alloy-1HTキャピラリーカラム30m×250μm×0.15μm,フロンティア・ラボ株式会社製)、検出器(水素炎イオン検出器(FID))、インジェクション温度300℃、ディテクター温度350℃、He流量4.6mL/分
スルホン酸基が結合している内部オレフィンスルホン酸ナトリウムについて、そのスルホン酸基結合位置に応じた各内部オレフィンスルホン酸ナトリウム含有量は、高速液体クロマトグラフィー/質量分析計(HPLC-MS)により測定した。具体的には、高速液体クロマトグラフィー(HPLC)によりスルホン酸基が結合しているヒドロキシ体を分離し、それぞれを質量分析計(MS)にかけることで同定した。結果、そのHPLC-MSピーク面積から各々の含有量を求めた。
なお、測定に使用した装置及び条件は次の通りであった。HPLC装置「LD20ASXR」((株)島津製作所製)、カラム「ODS Hypersil(登録商標)」(4.6×250mm、粒子サイズ:3μm、サーモフィッシャーサイエンティフィック社製)、サンプル調製(メタノールで1000倍希釈)、溶離液A(10mM酢酸アンモニウム添加水)、溶離液B(10mM酢酸アンモニウム添加 メタクリロニトリル/水=95/5(v/v)溶液)、グラジェント(0分(A/B=60/40)→15.1~20分(30/70)→20.1~30分(60/40)、MS装置「LCMS-2020」((株)島津製作所製)、ESI検出(陰イオン検出m/z:321.10(炭素数16又は18の(A)成分))、カラム温度(40℃)、流速(0.5mL/min)、インジェクション容量(5μL)
内部オレフィンスルホン酸ナトリウムのヒドロキシ体/オレフィン体の質量比は、HPLC-MSにより測定した。具体的には、HPLCによりヒドロキシ体とオレフィン体を分離し、それぞれをMSにかけることで同定した。結果、そのHPLC-MSピーク面積から各々の割合を求めた。
なお、測定に使用した装置および条件は次の通りである。HPLC装置(商品名:アジレントテクノロジー1100、アジレントテクノロジー社製)、カラム(商品名:L-columnODS4.6×150mm、一般財団法人化学物質評価研究機構製)、サンプル調製(メタノールで1000倍希釈)、溶離液A(10mM酢酸アンモニウム添加水)、溶離液B(10mM酢酸アンモニウム添加メタノール)、グラジェント(0分(A/B=30/70%)→10分(30/70%)→55分(0/100%)→65分(0/100%)→66分(30/70%)→75分(30/70%))、MS装置(商品名:アジレントテクノロジー1100MS SL(G1946D)),MS検出(陰イオン検出 m/z60-1600、UV240nm)
内部オレフィンスルホン酸ナトリウム中の未反応原料オレフィンの含有量は、GCにより測定した。具体的には、内部オレフィンスルホン酸ナトリウム水溶液にエタノールと石油エーテルを添加した後、抽出し石油エーテル相にオレフィンを得た。結果、そのGCピーク面積から原料オレフィンを定量した。
なお、測定に使用した装置および分析条件は次の通りである。GC装置(商品名:アジレントテクノロジー6850,アジレントテクノロジー社製)、カラム(商品名:Ultra-Alloy-1HTキャピラリーカラム15m×250μm×0.15μm,フロンティア・ラボ株式会社製)、検出器(水素炎イオン検出器(FID))、インジェクション温度300℃、ディテクター温度350℃、He流量3.8mL/分
無機化合物の含有量は、電位差滴定や中和滴定により測定した。具体的には、Na2SO4の含有量は、硫酸根(SO4 2-)を電位差滴定によって求めることで定量した。また、NaOHの含有量は、希塩酸で中和滴定することで定量した。
[内部オレフィンスルホン酸ナトリウム(DBP:4.2)の製造]
攪拌装置付きフラスコに1-ヘキサデカノール(製品名:カルコール6098、花王株式会社製)7000g(28.9モル)、固体酸触媒としてγ-アルミナ(STREM Chemicals,Inc社製)350g(原料アルコールに対して5質量%)を仕込み、攪拌下、280℃にて系内に窒素(7000mL/min)を流通させながら8時間反応を行った。反応終了後のアルコール転化率は100%であった。得られた粗アルケン内部オレフィンを蒸留用フラスコに移し、136~160℃/4.0mmHgで蒸留することでオレフィン純度100%の炭素数16の原料オレフィンa1を得た。得られた原料オレフィンa1の二重結合分布は、C1位1.8質量%、C2位21.8質量%、C3位18.7質量%、C4位18.6質量%、C5位14.3質量%、C6位11.4質量%、C7、8位の合計が13.6質量%であり、平均二重結合位置が4.17であった。
得られた原料オレフィンを、外部にジャケットを有する薄膜式スルホン化反応器に入れ、反応器外部ジャケットに10℃の冷却水を通液する条件下で三酸化硫黄ガスを用いてスルホン化反応を行った。スルホン化反応の際のSO3/内部オレフィンのモル比は1.01に設定した。得られたスルホン化物を、理論酸価に対して1.04モル倍量の水酸化ナトリウム(アルカリ剤)で調製したアルカリ水溶液と混合し、連続法にて30℃にて1時間中和した。得られた中和物をオートクレーブ中で170℃にて1時間加熱して加水分解を行い、炭素数16の内部オレフィンスルホン酸ナトリウム1を得た。得られた炭素数16の内部オレフィンスルホン酸ナトリウム1中に含有される原料オレフィンの含有量は0.4質量%、無機化合物は0.39質量%であった。
[内部オレフィンスルホン酸ナトリウム(DBP:3.6)の製造]
反応時間を6時間に変更した以外、製造例1と同様にして、オレフィン純度100%の炭素数16の原料オレフィンa2を得た。得られた原料オレフィンa2の二重結合分布は、C1位2.4質量%、C2位31.8質量%、C3位23.7質量%、C4位16.9質量%、C5位10.3質量%、C6位7.1質量%、C7、8位の合計が7.9質量%であり、平均二重結合位置が3.58であった。
得られた原料オレフィンa2を用いた以外、製造例1と同様にして、炭素数16の内部オレフィンスルホン酸ナトリウム2を得た。得られた炭素数16の内部オレフィンスルホン酸ナトリウム2中に含有される原料オレフィンの含有量は0.4質量%、無機化合物は0.42質量%であった。

- 前記成分(C)に対する前記成分(D)の質量比((D)/(C))が0.10以上5.0以下である、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の毛髪化粧料。
- 前記成分(A)が、架橋型ポリアクリル酸及び(アクリレーツ/アクリル酸アルキル(C10-30))クロスポリマーから選択される少なくとも一種を含む、請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の毛髪化粧料。
- 前記成分(A)の含有量が0.01質量%以上5.0質量%以下である、請求項1~6のいずれかに記載の毛髪化粧料。
- 前記成分(B)の含有量が0.1質量%以上20質量%以下である、請求項1~7のいずれかに記載の毛髪化粧料。
- 前記成分(C)の含有量が0.01質量%以上5.0質量%以下である、請求項1~8のいずれかに記載の毛髪化粧料。
- 前記成分(D)の含有量が0.01質量%以上5.0質量%以下である、請求項1~9のいずれかに記載の毛髪化粧料。
- 請求項1~10のいずれかに記載の毛髪化粧料を毛髪に適用する工程と、前記毛髪化粧料を適用した毛髪を水ですすぐ工程とを有する、毛髪処理方法。
