Description
(i)毛髪に酸化性調合物を塗布する工程と、
(ii)毛髪から湿気を除去する工程と、
(iii)毛髪にモノマー組成物を塗布する工程であって、前記モノマー組成物が分子量500g/mol以下のエチレン性モノマー及び美容的に許容可能な担体を含む、工程と、を含む。
(a)第1の態様に従う方法を含む塗布指示書、
(b)モノマー組成物、を含むキットに関する。
(i)毛髪に酸化性調合物を塗布する工程と、
(ii)毛髪から湿気を除去する工程と、
(iii)前記毛髪にモノマー組成物を塗布する工程であって、前記モノマー組成物が分子量500g/mol以下のエチレン性モノマー及び美容的に許容可能な担体を含む、工程と、を含む。
(i)酸化性調合物を毛髪に塗布する工程であって、この酸化性調合物が酸化性調合物全体の約1重量%〜約4重量%の過酸化水素を含む工程と、
(ii)毛髪から湿気を除去する工程と、
(iii)モノマー組成物を毛髪に塗布する工程であって、このモノマー組成物が、分子重量が約500g/mol以下のエチレン性モノマーと、美容的に許容可能な担体と、アニオンと、カチオンとを含み、このカチオンが電荷密度が約0.05電荷/ピコメートル以上の無機カチオンからなる群から選択される。
(i)毛髪に酸化性調合物を塗布する工程であって、この酸化性調合物が酸化性調合物全体の約1重量%〜約4重量%の過酸化水素と、アニオンと、カチオンとを含み、このカチオンが電荷密度が約0.05電荷/ピコメートル以上の無機カチオンからなる群から選択される工程と、
(ii)毛髪から湿気を除去する工程と、
(iii)毛髪にモノマー組成物を塗布する工程と、を含み、このモノマー組成物は、分子量が約500g/mol以下のエチレン性モノマーをモノマー組成物全体の約5重量%〜約14重量%と、美容的に許容可能な担体と、を含む。

水性媒体中でのエチレン性モノマーのフリーラジカル重合のキネティクスは、1H−NMRを使用して追跡できる。例えば、カリウム3−スルホプロピルアクリレートの重合は、下記の反応Xに示す通りである。
エチレンモノマーを重合した結果として得られるポリマーの分子重量は、ルーチンGPCで水性(アニオン性)溶液にて求めることができる。GPC設備には、1チャンネルの脱ガスシステム[WGE−Dr.Bures]、アイソクラチックポンプ[P 1000(Spectra Physics)]、GPC液0.1mol/lの1.0ml/分のフラックス速度でのNaNO3オートサンプラAS 1000(Spectra Physics)、サンプリング100μl、PSS SUPREMAカラム(1)Guard(8×50mm)、(2)Suprema 3000 A(8×300mm;10μm)、(3)Suprema 1000 A(8×300mm;10μm)、(4)Suprema 100 A(8×300mm;10μm)、カラムオーブンK−7(TECHLAB GmbH,Germany)[T=30℃]、UV−Detector UV 2000(Spectra Physics)、RI−Detector Refractometer SEC−2010(WGE Dr.Bures,Germany)が含まれる。Pullulan−Standardsに準拠して分子量0.3〜710kDaの範囲で検定を実施した。PSS製ソフトウェアWinGPC Unityを使用して、データ解析を行った。
この調査の目的は、毛髪内部で起こる3−スルホプロピルアクリレート(3−SPA)の重合反応を調査することであった。本発明者らは、14C−放射標識バージョン(標識C−原子:★)の3−SPAを使用した。
手順:パートIに準じる。ただし、(1)によるプレトリートメントは任意選択的に水でもよく、モノマー組成物のトリートメント時間(工程[3])を24時間に増やし、かつすすぎ(4)を常に実施する。
「付加」量、すなわち、トリートメント後の毛髪重量の変化率(%)を測定する。トリートメントの前後で、各ヘアピースを化学天秤で秤量し、差をパーセント(%)で計算する。両方の秤量において、毛髪を乾燥状態とする。2.5cmのヘアピース20本をパーマしてトリートメント前に2回漂白された。次いで、2%のH2O2を含む酸化性調合物を5分間塗布する。続いて、モノマー組成物を45℃にて30分間塗布し、ここで、モノマー組成物は12%の3−SPAを含むものとする。その次に、ヘアピースを中性シャンプーで洗浄してから、2%のH2O2を含むフィニッシング調合物を塗布する。ヘアピースを風乾して秤量する。この付加量実験の結果、平均重量が2.93%増加したことが判った。
本発明の試験は、消費者を対象とする。消費者は、それらのニーズに応じて選択される。消費者セグメント1は、毛髪が現時点で細くて軟弱なため、ハリの改善、ボリュームアップ、濃い髪を望んでいる消費者で構成されている。消費者セグメント2は、毛髪が現時点で太くて乱れがちなため、きちんと整髪された外観の髪を望んでいる消費者で構成されている。
Claims (16)
- 毛幹の内部領域を化学修飾する方法であって、
(i)前記毛髪に、過酸化物、過硫酸塩及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される酸化剤を含有する酸化性調合物を塗布する工程と、
(ii)前記工程(i)後、前記毛髪から湿気を除去する工程と、
(iii)前記工程(ii)後、前記毛髪に、1重量%〜15重量%のモノマーを含むモノマー組成物を塗布する工程であって、前記モノマーが、アクリル酸、アクリル酸塩、アクリル酸誘導体及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択され、前記モノマー組成物が、2.5〜6のpHを有し、前記モノマーが、毛幹の前記内部領域に浸透する、工程と、
(iv)前記工程(iii)後、前記モノマーを毛幹の前記内部領域内で重合させる工程と
を含む、毛幹の前記内部領域を化学修飾する方法。 - 前記モノマー組成物を前記毛髪上に時間xにわたって残留させる工程であって、前記時間xが1分〜120分である工程を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記モノマー組成物をヘアスタイリスト及び/又は消費者に提供する工程を更に含み、前記ヘアスタイリスト及び/又は消費者が、前記モノマー組成物を前記毛髪に塗布する前に前記モノマー組成物を第2の調合物と予混合する必要がない、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記酸化剤が、過酸化物である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記時間xが5分〜100分である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記時間xが20分〜60分である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記毛髪に前記酸化性調合物を塗布してから前記毛髪から湿気を除去するまでの間に前記酸化性調合物を前記毛髪上に時間yにわたって残留させることであって、前記時間yが1分〜120分である、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記時間yが3分〜20分である、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記酸化性調合物が美容的に許容可能な担体を更に含み、前記毛髪から湿気を除去する工程が、前記毛髪に吸収材料を塗布して湿気を前記毛髪から前記吸収材料に移動させる工程であって、前記湿気が前記美容的に許容可能な担体を含有する、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記モノマー組成物及び/又は前記酸化性調合物が、カチオン及びアニオンを更に含み、前記カチオンは、電荷密度が0.05電荷/ピコメートル以上の無機カチオンからなる群から選択される、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記モノマー組成物が増粘手段を更に含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記増粘手段が、非イオン性濃化剤、アニオン性濃化剤、カチオン性濃化剤、両性濃化剤、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される増粘剤である、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記増粘剤が少なくとも1種の多糖類を含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記増粘剤が少なくとも1種のヘテロ多糖を含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記時間xの間、前記毛髪を少なくとも70%の相対湿度に露出させ、該露出は前記モノマー組成物の塗布後1時間以内に行われ、前記露出を10〜90分持続させる、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 毛幹の密度及び/又は毛幹の弾性の増加のための、請求項1に記載の方法。
