Definitions
- the present invention relates to an egg sorting device and a method of using information that can be obtained from a weighing unit equipped in the egg sorting device.
- a weighing unit one that measures the weight of chicken eggs one by one is known (see, for example, Patent Document 1 below).
- the weight of the egg is measured using a weighing section provided in the middle of the egg feeding section.
- the weighing unit uses, for example, a load cell, and has a fixed upper plate.
- the egg feeding section sequentially positions the eggs one by one from the preceding process on the weighing section. Also, after acquiring weighing data for specifying the weight of the egg, the egg is taken out from the weighing unit and sent to the next step. Along with the operation of sending out to the next process, another chicken egg is positioned in the weighing section from the previous process.
- the weighing data of the egg is determined based on the value when the egg settles on the weighing unit. Specifically, the timing at which the measurement data is acquired is indicated by the trigger section.
- these weighing units usually weigh a large number of eggs every day.
- peripheral devices that is, the components of the pre-process of the weighing unit, the components of the next process of the weighing unit, and the like, may have problems.
- defects it is conceivable that a foreign object gets caught, a part is deformed by being scraped off by an egg, or a part of the weighing part is caught in another place.
- the egg weight cannot be measured correctly when troubles occur in the preceding process or the next process of the weighing section.
- the purpose of the present invention is to contribute to preventive maintenance by using information that can be obtained from the weighing department.

- the method of using information that can be obtained from the weighing unit is to collect information other than the weighing timing of the egg weight from the weighing unit equipped in the egg sorting device, Used for normal operation monitoring of at least one of them.
- FIG. 10 is a view showing still another modification of the chicken egg sorting device. 4 is a flowchart of abnormality detection processing;
- the method of using information obtained from the weighing unit 7 according to this embodiment relates to the weighing unit 7 equipped in the egg sorting apparatus 1 .
- FIG. A chicken egg E sorting apparatus 1 includes an egg feeding section 2 and a weighing section 7 .
- the egg feeding section 2 of this embodiment includes a first egg feeding section 3 , a second egg feeding section 4 and a third egg feeding section 5 .
- a posture changing section 6 is arranged between the second egg feeding section 4 and the third egg feeding section 5 .
- the first egg feeding unit 3 is composed of, for example, a plurality of rollers (not shown).
- the rollers are made of resin and gradually wear out due to repeated contact with eggshells.
- the first egg feeding unit 3 holds and conveys the eggs E sideways. An egg E travels on the upper side of the rollers being held between two adjacent rollers.
- the first egg feeding section 3 is a feeding section that feeds eggs E into the weighing section 7 .
- the second egg feeding unit 4 is composed of, for example, an impeller-shaped rotating body.
- the second egg feeding section 4 is provided above the weighing section 7 .
- the second egg feeding unit 4 sequentially positions the chicken eggs E one by one on the weighing unit 7 from the previous step. After obtaining weighing data for specifying the weight of the egg E, the second egg feeding unit 4 takes out the egg E from the weighing unit 7 and sends it to the next step. Along with this, the second egg feeding unit 4 positions another chicken egg E on the weighing unit 7 . That is, the second egg feeding section 4 uses an impeller so that two eggs E are not placed on the weighing section 7 at the same time.
- the posture changing unit 6 changes the posture of the chicken egg E from the horizontal posture to the vertical posture.
- the vertically oriented chicken egg E is released to the third egg feeding section 5 .
- the third egg feeding unit 5 is composed of, for example, a plurality of buckets.
- the third egg feeding section 5 holds and transports the hen's egg E vertically.

- FIGS. 3 and 4 are diagrams showing waveforms of output signals of the weighing unit 7.
- the measurement timing is between two dashed-dotted lines in the figure.
- an initial large sharp peak is seen prior to the metering timing. This is because when the egg gets on the tray of the weighing unit 7, its momentum causes it to become larger than the true weight of the egg, and then its reaction causes it to show a value smaller than the true value. After that, it shows a stable value with the lapse of time. Normally, the weighing timing comes when the weighing value is stable. Also, when the egg E is discharged from the weighing unit 7, a peak can be seen in the waveform due to the momentum.
- the weighing unit 7 measures weighing values at times other than weighing timings. Also, even when the weighing unit 7 is in an idle state with no egg E on it, the vibration of the mechanical device affects the weighing unit 7 and appears in the waveform output from the weighing unit 7 .

- troubles in the mechanism part of the sorting device 1 include a mechanism for feeding eggs E to the weighing unit 7 (for example, the first egg feeding unit 3 and the second egg feeding unit 4), or a problem with the weighing unit 7.
- Problems with the discharge mechanism for example, the second egg feeder 4 and the attitude changer 6
- wear of the rollers distortion of the shaft, deviation of transfer timing, and the like can be cited.
- the notification portion indicates that one of the mechanical portions is worn. ” or “Replacement is required” for the replacement parts related to the relevant mechanical part.
- these mechanical parts gradually wear out, it becomes difficult to stabilize the weighed value at the weighing timing. Therefore, for example, detection is possible based on information on egg weight collected from the weighing unit 7 when the egg feeding unit 2 is accelerating or decelerating.
- the egg sorting device 1 includes the weighing unit 7, the egg feeding unit 2, the trigger unit 8, and the abnormality detection unit 9.
- the weighing unit 7 measures the weight of the chicken eggs E placed one by one.
- the egg feeding unit 2 feeds eggs E before and after the weighing unit 7. - ⁇

- the first timing A may be the timing when the first time (corresponding to the first value) has passed since one egg was placed on the weighing unit 7 .
- the second timing B may be the timing when the second time (corresponding to the second value) has passed since one egg was placed on the weighing unit 7 .
- the second time is longer than the first time.
- step S4 the abnormality detection unit 9 acquires weighing data from the weighing unit 7 for one egg during the detection period.
- Weighing data in the detection period corresponds to "egg weight information" in the present disclosure.
- the metric data is data that indicates the temporal variation (trajectory) of the metric value during the detection period.
- step S6 the abnormality detection unit 9 acquires the maximum and minimum metric values during the detection period based on the metric data acquired in step S4.
- step S8 the abnormality detection section 9 calculates the difference value between the maximum value and the minimum value. The difference value is calculated, for example, by subtracting the minimum value from the maximum value.
- step S10 the abnormality detection unit 9 determines whether or not the difference value is greater than a predetermined threshold. If the difference value is greater than the threshold value (YES in step S10), that is, if the change in the measured value is as shown in FIG. Terminate the anomaly detection process. On the other hand, if the difference value is equal to or less than the threshold value (NO in step S10), that is, if the change in the weighing value is as shown in FIG. End the process.
