- the cylinder key HS may be provided in positions and orientations other than those illustrated.
- the slide part H2 is formed in a bar shape with a circular cross section.
- the slide portion H2 includes a slide pin H2Q that is inserted through an annular part provided on the chin strap of the helmet, and an operation portion H2S that is housed in the support portion H1 in the closed state and protrudes from the support portion H1 in the unlocked state. It is
- the operating portion H2S and the slide pin H2Q are integrally formed.
- the diameter of the operating portion H2S is formed larger than the diameter of the slide pin H2Q.
- the diameter of the operating portion H2S may be the same as the diameter of the slide pin.
- the slide portion H2 may be formed in a plate shape instead of a rod shape such as the operation portion H2S and the slide pin H2Q.
- the slide portion H2 may be formed in any shape as long as it can be inserted through the annular component of the helmet.
- the slide portion H2 slides when the lid portion 52 is securely closed with respect to the housing portion 51, and passes through the notch portion HK to slide from the side surface of the support portion H1 on which the notch portion HK is formed. protrude.
- the slide portion H2 is fitted into a receiving portion G provided on the lid portion side as described later.
- the slide portion H2 is automatically locked by the cylinder key HS.

- the receiving portion G is fixed to the recessed portion 52C.
- the receiving portion G is attached to the lid portion 52 in correspondence with the position of the fastener Q.
- the receiving portion G includes, for example, a base portion G1 fixed to the bottom portion formed in the recess portion 52C, and an upright piece G2 provided on one end side of the base portion G1.
- the receiving portion G is formed by bending a metal plate, for example.
- a pair of through holes GH are formed on both end sides of the base G1.
- Through holes (not shown) are also formed in the bottom portion of the recessed portion 52C corresponding to the positions of the pair of through holes GH.
- a bolt is inserted through the pair of through holes GH, and the receiving portion G is fixed to the lid portion 52 by the bolt and the nut (see FIG. 10).
- the base G1 has a step upward from the position where the through hole GH is formed.
- a hook receiving portion GF on which the hook QF of the fastener Q is hooked is formed on one side of the base portion G1 on the opening side of the recessed portion 52C.
- the hook receiving portion GF is formed by bending a rectangular end portion formed of a metal plate downward so as to fit into a gap caused by a step.
- An upright piece G2 is formed by bending upward from one end of the base portion G1.
- a hole G2H into which the slide portion is fitted is formed in the upright piece G2. Note that the standing piece G2 may not necessarily be provided.
- the receiving portion G has a hole, a depression, a notch, or the like formed in the wall surface of the depression portion 52C so that the sliding portion H2 in the closed state on the side of the lid portion 52 can be fitted instead of the standing piece G2. It can be anything that exists.
- the tip of the upright piece G2 is formed so as to protrude upward from the recess 52C.
- the standing piece G2 is formed so as to be positioned at the outermost part in the trajectory of opening and closing of the lid portion (see FIGS. 7 and 10).
- the tip of the upright piece G2 is formed in a circular shape centered on the hole G2H when viewed in the front-rear direction. This prevents other objects from being damaged even if they come into contact with other objects when the cover is opened and closed.
- An elastic member G2G extending along the end face may be attached to the outermost position of the tip of the upright piece G2.
- the elastic member is made of rubber, resin, or the like. That is, the outermost portion of the upright piece G2 serves as an elastic member, which prevents other objects from being damaged in the trajectory of opening and closing of the lid portion (see FIGS. 7 and 10).
- the storage box 50 it is possible to easily recognize the closed state of the lid portion 52 with respect to the storage portion 51 while improving convenience.
- the fastener Q can securely close the lid portion 52 with respect to the storage portion 51, and the slide portion H2 is fitted into the receiving portion G when the lid portion 52 is in the closed state. Therefore, it can be easily confirmed that the lid portion 52 is securely closed.
- the helmet holder H also serves as a lock for the lid portion 52, and convenience and functionality can be improved while reducing the number of components.
- the storage box 50 when the lid portion 52 is in the closed state, the sliding portion H2 slides and fits into the hole G2H of the receiving portion G, so that the lid portion 52 can be reliably closed easily. recognizable. According to the storage box 50, it is possible to realize the appearance of the storage box 50 in which the fastener Q and the helmet holder H are integrated. According to the storage box 50, when the fastener Q fixes the lid portion 52 in the closed state, only the helmet holder H can be used, which improves convenience.
- the storage box 50 is attached to the left side of the vehicle 1 in the vehicle width direction, the storage box 50 may be attached to both sides of the vehicle 1 without being limited to this. Also, the storage box 50 may be attached to the upper portion of the rear carrier 30 . The storage box 50 may be attached not only to the rear portion of the vehicle 1 but also to any position and attitude of the vehicle 1 as long as it can be attached without problems. Further, the vehicle 1 may be not only a motorcycle but also other self-propelled vehicles or non-self-propelled vehicles.
