Abstract
Description
図1および図2を参照すると、図1の自動車用内装トリム取付けブラケット1(以下「トリム取付けブラケット1」という)は、図2のように所要形状に成形された自動車用内装トリムTを自動車の車体パネル(図示省略)に取り付ける手段として用いられるものである。なお、後述のいわゆるソフトトリムとして構成された自動車用内装トリムTは、例えば自動車トランクルームの車体パネルに取付け使用されるが、この取付け使用例に限定されることはない。
自動車用内装トリムTは、曲げ剛性が低い、いわゆるソフトトリムと言われるもので、樹脂と繊維を混ぜ合わせた素材で構成される。このため、車体パネルへの取付けに必要なクリップ2(図2参照)を直接装着できる機能は自動車用内装トリムTにはない。かかる機能は後述の通りトリム取付けブラケット1に設けられる。一方、トリム取付けブラケット1は、PP樹脂あるいはABS樹脂等で構成され、ソフトトリムに比べてその曲げ剛性は非常に高い。
図1のトリム取付けブラケット1は、その主要な機能を備える部分(以下「ブラケット機能部」という)として、自動車用内装トリムTに接合される接合部3と、図示しない車体パネルの取付け穴に嵌合するクリップCが配置されるクリップ配置部4と、車体パネルに当接させる当接部5と、を備えるほか、さらに、これらのブラケット機能部(3、4、5)を繋ぐ橋渡し部6を備えている。
接合部3:
接合部3の具体的な構成例として、図1のトリム取付けブラケット1では、これを超音波で自動車用内装トリムTに溶着させる接合方式を採用したため、その接合部3は、トリム取付けブラケット1と自動車用内装トリムTとの溶着による接合部3として構成されるが、これ以外の他の接合方式、例えばホットメルト接着剤などの接着剤で、自動車用内装トリムTとトリム取付けブラケット1とを接着する接合方式を採用してもよい。なお、図1では、接合部3を破線で示しているが、この破線は溶着用の超音波コーンが当たる範囲を示したものであり、その範囲の内側全体が超音波で溶着されていることを意味するものではない。
クリップ配置部4の具体的な構造例として、図1のトリム取付けブラケット1では、クリップCを装着固定するためのクリップベース41を橋渡し部6に一体成形し、クリップベース41に対して周知のクリップCを嵌め込み装着して配置する構成を採用したが、これに限定されることはない。なお、クリップCやクリップベース41については例えば特許文献1でも開示されている通り公知の技術事項であるため、その詳細説明は省略する。
当接部5は、トリム取付けブラケット1を介して車体パネルに自動車用内装トリムTを取付けた状態において、その自動車用内装トリムTのいわゆるベコツキ現象を防止する対策手段として機能するものである。
図1のトリム取付けブラケット1は、金型内のキャビティに溶融樹脂を流し込んで製造する方式(以下「金型成形」という)で作製される。したがって、図1のトリム取付けブラケット1が備えるブラケット機能部(3、4、5)も橋渡し部6も全部樹脂で成形される。
図1のトリム取付けブラケット1では、前記のような開口(具体的には、所定形状の穴7)構造、すなわち、ブラケット機能部(3、4、5)および橋渡し部6以外の他の部分が所定形状の穴7として開口した構造を備えたことにより、(1)トリム取付けブラケット1として必要な寸法(大きさ)とブラケット機能部(3、4、5)を保持しつつ、トリム取付けブラケット1全体の表面積(開口7の表面開口面積も含む)の中で樹脂の占有する表面積割合が減る。また、ブラケット機能部(3、4、5)を除くトリム取付けブラケット1全体の剛性が比較的低くなることでトリム取付けブラケット1自身がフレキシブルになって自動車用内装トリムTの形状に追従しやすくなる。さらに、トリム取付けブラケット1を溶融樹脂で成形した時の冷却固化によるトリム取付けブラケット1の面収縮と、これによるトリム取付けブラケット1の全体的あるいは部分的な反りが効果的に減少する。

Claims (2)
- 所要形状に成形された自動車用内装トリムを自動車の車体パネルに取り付ける手段として用いられる自動車用内装トリム取付けブラケットであって、
前記取付けブラケットは、そのブラケット機能部として、少なくとも、前記自動車用内装トリムに接合される接合部と、前記車体パネルの取付け穴に嵌合するクリップが配置されるクリップ配置部と、前記車体パネルに当接させる当接部と、を備えること、および、これらのブラケット機能部を繋ぐ橋渡し部を備えること、並びに、前記ブラケット機能部および前記橋渡し部を残し、これら以外の他の部分が所定形状の穴として開口した構造になっていること
を特徴とする自動車用内装トリム取付けブラケット。 - 前記自動車用内装トリムが前記取付けブラケットより曲げ剛性の低いソフトトリムとして構成されていること
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動車用内装トリム取付けブラケット。
