Definitions
- the present invention relates to a flexographic printing plate precursor and a method for producing a flexographic printing plate using the same.
- a flexographic printing plate precursor generally comprises a photosensitive resin layer (photosensitive layer) made of a photosensitive resin composition on a support made of a polyester film or the like.
- a flexographic printing plate is made by exposing a predetermined image to the surface of the photosensitive resin layer of the original plate and then removing the resin from the unexposed portions.
- analog flexographic printing plate precursor a negative film on which a predetermined image has already been formed is placed on the photosensitive layer, and the predetermined image is exposed onto the surface of the photosensitive layer through the negative film.
- LAM laser ablation mask
- an infrared ablation layer is previously provided on the photosensitive layer, and an infrared laser is used to transfer digitized negative image information to the infrared ablation layer. After producing a desired negative pattern by direct writing, a predetermined image is exposed onto the surface of the photosensitive layer through this negative pattern.
