Definitions
- the present application relates to a mutant of aroG aldolase (Phospho-2-dehydro-3-deoxyheptonate aldolase) and a method for producing branched-chain amino acids using the same.
- aroG aldolase Phospho-2-dehydro-3-deoxyheptonate aldolase
- L-amino acid is a basic structural unit of protein and is used as an important material for pharmaceutical raw materials, food additives, animal feed, nutrients, pesticides, and disinfectants. Therefore, the industrial production of amino acids has become an economically important industrial process.
- branched-chain amino acids refer to three types of valine, leucine, and isoleucine, and are known to be mainly metabolized in muscles and used as an energy source during activity.
