Claims (12)
- 음극 집전체; 및상기 음극 집전체의 적어도 일면에 위치하고, Si계 음극 활물질, 도전재, 및 제1 바인더 고분자를 포함하는 음극 활물질층을 포함하고,상기 Si계 음극 활물질은 활성화 공정 후 형성된 크랙(crack)을 구비하고,상기 크랙 사이에 제2 바인더 고분자가 코팅되어 있으며,상기 제1 바인더 고분자와 상기 제2 바인더 고분자는 이종(異種)인 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지용 음극.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제2 바인더 고분자는 비닐리덴플루오라이드(Vinylidene Fluoride; VDF) 유래 제1 단량체와, 헥사플루오로프로필렌(Hexafluoropropylene; HFP) 유래 제2 단량체의 공중합체를 포함하고,상기 제2 단량체가 상기 공중합체 100 중량% 기준으로 20 중량% 이상으로 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지용 음극.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 Si계 음극 활물질은 Si, SiOx(1≤x≤2), Si/C, 또는 이들 중 2 이상을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지용 음극.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제1 바인더 고분자는 폴리비닐알코올, 카르복시메틸셀룰로오즈(CMC), 전분, 히드록시프로필셀룰로오즈, 폴리비닐피롤리돈, 폴리테트라플루오로에틸렌, 스티렌 부타디엔 고무(SBR), 또는 이들 중 2 이상을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지용 음극.
- 양극;음극 집전체, 및 상기 음극 집전체의 적어도 일면에 위치하고, 활성화 공정 후 형성된 크랙(crack)을 구비하는 Si계 음극 활물질, 도전재, 및 제1 바인더 고분자를 포함하고, 상기 크랙 사이에 제2 바인더 고분자가 코팅되어 있는 음극 활물질층을 포함하는 음극; 및상기 양극과 음극 사이에 개재되고, 다공성 고분자 기재, 및 상기 다공성 고분자 기재의 적어도 일면에 위치하며 다수의 무기물 입자들 및 상기 제2 바인더 고분자를 포함하는 다공성 코팅층을 포함하는 세퍼레이터를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지.
- (S1) 양극, 및 Si계 음극 활물질 및 제1 바인더 고분자를 포함하는 예비 음극을 제조하는 단계;(S2) 다공성 고분자 기재의 적어도 일면에 무기물 입자, 제2 바인더 고분자 및 상기 제2 바인더 고분자에 대한 용매를 포함하는 다공성 코팅층 형성용 슬러리를 코팅 및 건조하여 세퍼레이터를 제조하는 단계;(S3) 상기 (S1) 단계에서 제조된 양극과 예비 음극 사이에 상기 (S2) 단계에서 제조된 세퍼레이터를 개재시키고 라미네이션하여 전극 조립체를 제조하는 단계;(S4) 상기 (S3)단계에서 제조된 전극 조립체를 전지 케이스에 내장하고 전해액을 주입하여 예비 전지를 제조하는 단계;(S5) 상기 (S4) 단계의 예비 전지를 활성화시키는 단계;(S6) 상기 (S5) 단계의 예비 전지를 승온하여 상기 제2 바인더 고분자를 상기 전해액에 용해시키고 이를 거치하는 단계; 및(S7) 상기 (S6) 단계의 결과물을 냉각시키는 단계;를 포함하고,상기 제1 바인더 고분자는 상기 (S6) 단계의 승온 온도에서 상기 전해액에 용해되지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지의 제조 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 (S6) 단계의 승온 온도는 70℃ 내지 90℃인 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지의 제조 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 제2 바인더 고분자는 비닐리덴플루오라이드(Vinylidene Fluoride; VDF) 유래 제1 단량체와, 헥사플루오로프로필렌(Hexafluoropropylene; HFP) 유래 제2 단량체의 공중합체를 포함하고,상기 제2 단량체가 상기 공중합체 100 중량% 기준으로 20 중량% 이상으로 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지의 제조 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 제1 바인더 고분자는 폴리비닐알코올, 카르복시메틸셀룰로오즈(CMC), 전분, 히드록시프로필셀룰로오즈, 폴리비닐피롤리돈, 폴리테트라플루오로에틸렌, 스티렌 부타디엔 고무(SBR), 또는 이들 중 2 이상을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지의 제조 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 제2 바인더 고분자는 상기 무기물 입자 및 제2 바인더 고분자의 총량 100 중량% 기준으로 15 중량% 내지 25 중량%의 함량으로 상기 다공성 코팅층 형성용 슬러리에 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지의 제조 방법.
- 제6항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항의 제조 방법에 따라 제조된 리튬 이차전지.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 (S7) 단계의 결과물에 포함된 세퍼레이터에 상기 제2 바인더 고분자가 상기 무기물 입자 및 제2 바인더 고분자의 총량 100 중량% 기준으로 1 중량% 내지 5 중량% 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지.
