Definitions
- the invention relates to a fastening component for fastening an airbag to a vehicle structure, as well as an airbag module and a vehicle.
- Gas bags in particular side gas bags, are very well known from modern occupant restraint systems.
- Side gas bags are fastened, for example, to the roof rail of a vehicle by means of straps.
- straps In the straps there are fastening holes through which screws or other fastening means are guided in order to fasten the gas bag to the roof pillar.
- Mounting holes can lead.
- the tabs are usually made of multiple layers and can also be reinforced by sewing around them or additional seams, which, however, increase the manufacturing effort and the manufacturing costs. It is therefore the object of the invention to provide a fastening component, a gas bag module and a vehicle in which there is no damage to the fastening holes and which are nevertheless easy and inexpensive to manufacture.
- a fastening component for fastening a gas bag to a vehicle structure, with a holding section, a first fastening section, a second fastening section and a reinforcing section.
- the holding section limits a receiving area for the gas bag and connects the first fastening section to the second fastening section.
- the first fastening section and the second fastening section lie opposite one another at a distance, the reinforcing section extending into the distance between the first fastening section and the second fastening section in the longitudinal direction.
- the flap can be reinforced by the reinforcement section.
- the fastening component on which the reinforcement section is provided fulfills other tasks, such as holding the gas bag in the assembled state, so that only one component is necessary for fastening the gas bag to the vehicle structure.
- the longitudinal direction is the longitudinal direction of the receiving area, which essentially corresponds to the longitudinal direction of the gas bag and the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
- the vertical and transverse directions also correspond to the vertical and transverse directions of the gas bag or of the vehicle.
- the reinforcement section does not extend into the spacing from below or above in the vertical direction.
- the holding section runs almost completely around the receiving area in a side view, in particular by at least three quarters.
- the reinforcement section can be kept at a distance with a connecting bridge, the connecting bridge being provided in the longitudinal direction outside the distance, in particular in the longitudinal direction outside the first fastening section.
- the fastening component can have a base section to which the holding section, the first fastening section and the reinforcing section are fastened, as a result of which the fastening component can be made stable.
- the reinforcement section can be attached to the base section via the connecting bridge.
- the fastening section lies in one plane with the base section.
- the second fastening section can connect to the holding section at one end of the holding section and the first fastening section and / or the base section can connect to the holding section at the other end of the holding section.
- the fastening component has at least one connecting pin and a counterpart, which are designed to fix the second fastening section on the reinforcement section and / or on the first fastening section. In this way, the gas bag can be fixed even better in the receiving area.
- the counterpart is formed on the second fastening section and the connecting pin on the reinforcing section and / or on the first fastening section, or vice versa.
- the connecting pin can be provided offset in the longitudinal direction with respect to the fastening holes.
- the tab is thus reinforced by the reinforcement section and damage to the tab is prevented.
- the tongue engages in a fold of the body of the gas bag when the body is arranged in the receiving space.
- the body is reliably fixed in the intended position in the receiving space.

- the fastening component 20 rests partially on the vehicle structure 12, for example with the first fastening section 28 and the base section 24.
- the fastening component 20 is placed with the side first on the tab 52 on which the reinforcement section 32 is freely suspended, i.e. with the end on which the connecting bridge 42 is not provided. As a result, the reinforcement section 32 can be pushed into the loop 56 without any problems.
- the mandrel 64 of the fastening means 22 is pushed with the locking means 66 first through the mounting holes 44, 58 and a corresponding hole in the vehicle structure 12 until the locking means 66 engage in or behind the vehicle structure 12.
- the base plate 62 then rests on the second fastening section 30.
- the reinforcement section 32 distributes the tensile forces evenly over a larger area of the tab 52, more precisely the upper end of the loop 56. In this way, the fastening holes 58 of the tab 52 are prevented from tearing and the operational reliability of the entire gas bag module 16 is increased.
- the fastening component 20 enables simple assembly of the gas bag module 16, since only one component is used to fasten the gas bag module 16.
