Definitions
- the invention relates to a roof arrangement for a motor vehicle roof.
- the invention also relates to a guide rail and a motor vehicle.
- roof arrangements with a movable roof element (also cover) for a vehicle roof are widely known from the prior art. For example, reference is made to DE 102011 018 151 A1.
- roof arrangements with a roller blind arrangement (also darkening device) for use in a vehicle are also roof arrangements with a roller blind arrangement (also darkening device) for use in a vehicle.
- roller blind arrangements have roller blinds and serve to protect against solar radiation under a transparent roof section of the vehicle.
- the roof section can be a movable roof element as above, for example a sliding roof, or a fixed glass element such as a panoramic glass roof.
- Such roof arrangements have in common that a corresponding mechanism for actuating the movable roof element and / or the roller blind arrangement has guide rails in which elements of the mechanisms are displaceably guided. These guide rails are firmly connected to one or more roof frame elements.
- a roof arrangement for a vehicle roof of a motor vehicle has a roof frame element and a guide rail.
- the guide rail has a main direction of extent along which a guide rail channel extends.
- the guide rail has an upper rib, a lower rib opposite the upper rib and a web section which connects the two ribs (at least indirectly).
- the ribs and the web section limit, for example, the
- one of the two ribs has a protruding, one-piece area, the protruding area having an assembly area in which the roof frame element is directly and firmly coupled to the guide rail.
- the roof arrangement described provides a guide rail in which a rib (such as the one
- Guide rail channel is widened.
- the rib - in an operationally assembled state - is enlarged or lengthened over a large area towards a center of a motor vehicle.
- This provides a support and assembly surface for the roof frame element to be connected.
- One rib is widened in a horizontal direction transversely to the main direction of extent.
- the protruding area is an area that is not opposed by ribs or other integral parts of the guide rail. In other words, the protruding area is a section that protrudes or extends freely in a direction away from the web section.
- the guide rail advantageously has an integral, ie one-piece, mounting section, which is thus already present when the guide rail is manufactured.
- a separate intermediate piece for example a connection connector, for coupling to the roof frame element is therefore not necessary.
- a separate intermediate piece for example a connection connector
- Such an intermediate piece would, for example, be mounted on the guide rail in the region of a guide rail channel, for example by means of a clamp connection.
- Such an intermediate piece would therefore cause assembly effort and thus higher costs.
- the roof frame element can thus be coupled directly to the guide rail, with no additional part having to be installed.
- the omission of an intermediate piece also helps to avoid unwanted noises, such as creaking in the connection area.
- the one-piece solution makes a significant contribution to increasing the torsional rigidity and thus the fatigue strength of the connection between the guide rail and the roof frame element.
- the moment and bending stiffness is increased considerably. This contributes to the fact that the roof frame element and optionally also further roof frame elements coupled to the roof frame element, which together form a modular frame, are stiffened via the connection.
- the location information or direction information used such as “rear” or “front”, relates to a longitudinal axis of the vehicle and a normal direction of travel of an operational motor vehicle.
- the longitudinal axis of the vehicle can also be referred to as a horizontal axis or X-axis in the associated X-direction (see coordinate systems drawn in the figures).
- Information used such as “top” or “bottom” relate to the Z direction when the vehicle is ready for operation.
- the protruding area has a different extent, at least in sections.
- the extension refers to a direction transverse to the main direction of extent. In other words, is the width of the protruding area along the
- the protruding area is designed such that an outer edge of the protruding area facing away from the web section extends arcuately away from the web section along the main direction of extent. This contributes to a particularly optimal torsional rigidity.
- the protruding area along the main direction of extent in the direction of the end of the guide rail has a first section, in which the outer edge of the protruding area extends arcuately away from the web section, and a second section following the first section, in which the outer edge runs parallel along the main direction of extent.
- the protruding area is bent over at an outer edge that faces away from the web section, in particular in the section in which the outer edge runs in an arc.
- the guide rail is an extruded profile. This enables a cost-effective solution. It is conceivable that one of the two ribs, which has the protruding area, is initially evenly widened over the entire length of the guide rail during production and consequently protrudes beyond the other rib. A large part of the protruding area of the one rib is then removed, for example in a stamping process, so that the protruding area defined above remains at one end of the guide rail.
- the protruding area in the assembly area has two assembly openings for connection to the roof frame element.
- the roof frame element can thus be simply screwed directly to the guide rail, for example.
- a guide rail for a roof arrangement according to the aspect described above is disclosed.
- the guide rail has a main direction of extent along which a guide rail channel extends.
- the guide rail has an upper rib, one of the upper rib opposite lower rib and a web portion that connects the two ribs.
- the ribs and the web section delimit the guide rail channel on at least three sides .
- one of the two ribs has a protruding, one-piece area, the protruding area having an assembly area in which a roof frame element can be directly coupled to the guide rail is.
- the guide rail essentially enables the advantages and functions mentioned above. What has been said above applies analogously.
- a motor vehicle has a vehicle roof and a roof arrangement according to the above aspect, the roof arrangement being fixedly coupled to the vehicle roof.
- the motor vehicle essentially enables the advantages and functions mentioned above.
- Figure 1 is a schematic, perspective view of a vehicle and Figures 2 to 5 different, perspective views of a guide rail for a vehicle according to an embodiment of the invention.
- FIG. 1 shows a schematic view of an exemplary vehicle 20 which has a vehicle roof 21 which is provided with a roof opening 22.
- the vehicle roof 21 is firmly coupled to the rest of the roof body.
- the roof opening 22 can optionally be closed or at least partially released by means of a displaceable sliding roof cover.
- the roof opening 22 is firmly closed by means of a transparent roof element, for example a panorama roof. In this case, an immovable transparent roof element is provided.
- the roof opening 22 is delimited by a roof frame 23 formed on the vehicle roof 21.
- the roof frame 23 has guide rails 1 arranged on both sides, in which a darkening device 24 is provided below the sliding roof cover.
- the darkening device 24 has a roller blind 25 which can be displaced forwards and backwards in an extension direction 26, so that the roller blind 25 is wound up and unwound.
- the extension direction 26 runs essentially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the vehicle 20 or in the X direction (see coordinate system shown).
- the roller blind 25 is used to let sunlight and ambient light into the vehicle 20 via the roof opening 22 or to prevent them from penetrating the vehicle 20.
- the roller blind 25 is laterally guided in the guide rails 1 and extends between these at least when winding and unwinding.
- the roller blind 25 can be based on a the pull-out direction 26 to the rear end are completely wound up.
- a winding device 29 is provided, for example, which has a winding shaft 30 (also called a roller blind shaft).
- the last two elements mentioned are only indicated schematically in FIG. 1.
- the roller blind 25 is rolled onto the winding shaft 30 to form a roller blind.
- at least one tension bow 27 is optionally provided at a front end 28 of the roller blind 25, which is provided for actuating the roller blind 25.
- the roof frame 23 has a modular structure, the guide rails 1 being permanently mechanically coupled to a further roof frame element.
- the guide rails 1 are firmly connected to a front roof frame element which is arranged transversely to the X direction.
- FIGS. 2 to 5 show in perspective a guide rail 1 according to an embodiment of the invention in different perspective views.
- FIGS. 2 to 4 show the guide rail 1 from an underside 2, while FIG. 5 shows the guide rail 1 from an upper side 3.
- the following statements relate to a guide rail 1 and apply analogously to the further guide rail 1, which is designed in a mirror-inverted manner.
- the guide rail 1 to be described is arranged on the right in relation to a direction of travel of the vehicle 1 to the front (in the positive X direction).
- the guide rail 1 has a main direction of extent 4 in the X direction. Along the main direction of extent 4 at least one guide rail channel 5 extends.
- the guide rail channel 5 is delimited by at least one upper rib 6, an opposite, lower rib 7 and a web section 8 connecting the two ribs 6 and 7 (see in particular FIG. 4).
- the web section 8 connects the two ribs 6, 7 at least indirectly and can itself be subdivided into several sections or areas.
- the guide rail channel 5 is thus formed essentially in the manner of a C-profile and is open towards a center of the vehicle 20 or towards the center of the roof opening 22.
- the guide rail channel 5 is designed to accommodate one or more components of the darkening device 24, such as the tension bow, which are guided or mounted in the guide rail channel 5 so as to be displaceable.
- the guide rail channel 5 is designed for the displaceable mounting of one or more components of a mechanism for moving the above-mentioned sliding roof cover.
- the darkening device 24 does not necessarily have to be present.
- the upper rib 6 is widened in one piece in the Y direction transversely to the main extension direction 4 in such a way that a protruding region 10 is formed.
- the protruding area 10 projects beyond all other ribs and elements of the guide rail 1 in the direction of a center of the vehicle 20 (in the operationally assembled state).
- the protruding area 10 is thus a widened area of the upper rib 6.
- the protruding area 10 has an assembly area 11, which in turn has two assembly openings 12, for example bores. Using the Mounting area 11 and its mounting openings 12, the guide rail 1 can be mounted directly on a roof frame element without an additional connector or an additional intermediate piece, for example screwed.
- the protruding area 10 has a different extent in the Y direction in sections with respect to the main direction of extent 4.
- the protruding area 10 is divided into at least a first section 13 and a second section 14.
- an outer edge 15 extends in the shape of a curve, a distance 16 of the edge 15 from the web section 8 to the front end 9 increasing.
- the distance 16 is constant, the outer edge 15 running essentially parallel to the main direction of extent 4 or the guide rail channel 5.
- a special feature is also provided in the first section 13, since the protruding area 10 is at least partially bent over here, so that this area has a bent tab 17.
- the upper rib 6 is bent downwards at the outer edge 15.
- the described guide rail 1, as part of a roof arrangement with a roof frame element enables the advantages and functions mentioned at the outset.
- the special design of the one rib with the one-piece, protruding area 10 enables an assembly area 11, so that a particularly torsionally rigid connection with a roof frame element is made possible.
- the bent edge 15 contributes significantly to this mechanical rigidity.
