- the first core 52a and the second core 54a are each composed of a vitrified grindstone having a higher strength than the roughing grindstone 52b. In this way, the production of the first core 52a and the second core 54a becomes easy.
- the first core 52a and the second core 54a are composed of, for example, a vitrified grindstone reinforced by impregnating the resin and then curing the resin. By doing so, the durability of the multi-layer grindstone 12 for gear grinding is enhanced.
- the roughing part 52 and the finishing part 54 of this embodiment are fixed to each other by adhering only the end face of the first core 52a and the end face of the second core 54a. Therefore, the roughing grindstone 52b and the finishing grindstone 54b are not adhered to each other, and the deformation of one of the roughing grindstone 52b and the finishing grindstone 54b does not affect the other. Since the peripheral speed in the grinding process of the gear material BL is increased while maintaining the maintenance, the grinding process efficiency is increased. Further, since the phase shift between the roughing grindstone 52b and the finishing grindstone 54b can be eliminated, the outer peripheral surfaces of the roughing grindstone 52b and the finishing grindstone 54b can be dressed in a short time as in the normal dressing.
- the gear material BL is displaced (shifted) in a direction parallel to the rotation axis Cy while rotating the gear grinding multi-layer grindstone 12 around the rotation axis Cy. While performing reciprocating grinding feed in a direction parallel to the rotation axis Cz with a predetermined grinding stroke, the gear material BL is sequentially rotated around the rotation axis Cz in synchronization with the reciprocating grinding feed, so that teeth are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the gear material BL. It is used for continuous creation type gear grinding to form.
- the contact arc length of the gear material BL with respect to the multi-layer grindstone 12 for gear grinding is long, and the gear material BL is ground by constantly changing the position where the abrasive grains hit, so that the gear has high efficiency. Grinding is done.
- the roughing grindstone 52b of the roughing portion 52 is a vitrified grindstone in which abrasive grains are bonded using an inorganic binder, and the first core 152a is the same as the vitrified grindstone. Due to the vitrified grindstone structure, the roughing grindstone 52b (vitrified grindstone) is integrally formed on the inner peripheral side. As a result, the first core 152a is integrally formed on the inner peripheral side of the roughing grindstone 52b by the same vitrified grindstone structure as the roughing grindstone 52b, so that the roughing grindstone 52b is adhered to the outer peripheral surface of the first core 152a. Since it is not necessary to fix the material with an agent, the manufacturing process is simplified.
- the roughing grindstone 52b of the roughing portion 52 is a vitrified grindstone in which abrasive grains are bonded using an inorganic binder, and the first core 252a is the same as the vitrified grindstone. Due to the vitrified grindstone structure, the roughing grindstone 52b (vitrified grindstone) is integrally formed on the inner peripheral side. Further, the second core 254a of the finishing processing portion 54 has the same vitrified grindstone structure as the roughing grindstone 52b (vitrified grindstone), and is on the finishing grindstone 54b side of the first core 252a in the rotation axis Cy direction, following the first core 252a. It is integrally configured with the first core 252a.
- the finishing grindstone 54b is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the second core 254a with an adhesive.
- the first core 252a is integrally formed on the inner peripheral side of the roughing grindstone 52b by the same vitrified grindstone structure as the roughing grindstone 52b, and the second core 254a is integrally formed with the first core 252a. Therefore, it is not necessary to fix the roughing grindstone 52b to the outer peripheral surface of the first core 252a with an adhesive and to fix the first core 252a and the second core 254a, so that the manufacturing process is simplified. ..
- the roughing grindstone 52b and the finishing grindstone 54b may be fixed at the inner peripheral portion so as not to reduce the breaking peripheral speed of the gear grinding multi-layer grindstone 12.
- the roughing grindstone 52b and the finishing grindstone 54b need not be fixed to each other at least on the outer peripheral portions thereof so as not to reduce the breaking peripheral speed of the multi-layer grindstone 12 for gear grinding. The same applies to the multi-layer grindstone 112 for gear grinding of the second embodiment.
- the multi-layer grindstones 12, 112, and 212 for gear grinding of the above-described embodiment are provided with thread grooves 56 on the outer peripheral grinding surface, and are continuously created gear grinding machines 10 that form oblique teeth in the gear material BL. It was used for.
- the multi-layer grindstone 12 for gear grinding may be used for a grinding machine that grinds spur gears because a plurality of annular grooves are formed on the outer peripheral grinding surface thereof. Even in this case, since the fracture strength equivalent to that when the roughing portion 52 and the finishing processing portion 54 are used alone can be obtained, the spur gear can be ground at the same rotation speed as when the roughing portion 52 and the finishing portion 54 are used alone. Processing efficiency is improved.

Abstract
