After the support 11 and the zeolite membrane 12 are dried, the zeolite membrane 12 is heat-treated in an oxidizing gas atmosphere to burn and remove the SDA in the zeolite membrane 12 (step S14). As a result, the fine pores in the zeolite membrane 12 penetrate. Preferably, the SDA is removed almost completely.
- the heating temperature for removing SDA is, for example, 350 to 700 ° C.
- the heating time is, for example, 10 to 200 hours.
- the oxidizing gas atmosphere is an atmosphere containing oxygen, for example, in the atmosphere.

- the FAU-type zeolite particles can be more well dispersed in the raw material solution, and the zeolite membrane 12 having high crystallinity can be formed more reliably. Further, by adhering the seed crystal of AFX type zeolite on the support 11 before forming the zeolite membrane 12, a homogeneous zeolite membrane 12 can be easily formed. Further, since the FAU-type zeolite particles are composed of Y-type or X-type zeolite, the zeolite membrane 12 having high crystallinity can be formed more reliably.

<実施例1>
