- the interface property between the hole transporting layer and the electron blocking layer has a similar structure, and thus it is possible to obtain advantageous properties for injection and transport of holes.
- the hole transport layer in contact with the hole injection layer requires a higher HOMO energy level than the electron blocking layer, and the electron blocking layer requires a higher triplet state energy. If the substitution position of the amine group is different in the structure of Chemical Formula 1, HOMO energy level, triplet state energy, and the like can be adjusted differently to satisfy appropriate physical properties required for each layer.
- substitution position of the amine group when the substitution position of the amine group is different and applied to each layer, it can be adjusted to characteristics suitable for the role of each layer.

- Example 6 HT-1 EB-3 BH-1 4.05 5.14 154
- the hole transport layer, the electron blocking layer, and the light emitting layer host material applied in the above Examples and Comparative Examples are calculated by quantum calculation and are shown in Table 2.
- the quantum calculation was performed through the structural optimization through the density functional theory (DFT) calculation of the Schrodinger Material Science Suite program, and the triplet energy was calculated through the time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) calculation.

- the angle between the anthracene and the L of Formula 2 is vertical, so that the length of the conjugation can be shortened, and the distance between the anthracene accumulated by the long molecules can be kept close to transport the charge. It is advantageous.
- the fused aryl group has a smaller triplet energy as the number of fused rings increases. Since the anthracene structure is included in the structure of Chemical Formula 2 used as a light emitting layer host, when the structure of Chemical Formula 1 includes a functional group containing three or more six-membered rings, such as anthracene, the triplet energy becomes smaller than the light emitting layer host. You can.
- the triplet energy of the material used for the layer in contact with the light-emitting layer becomes smaller than that of the light-emitting layer host material, and it does not serve as a blocking layer, so that the charge escapes outside the light-emitting layer. Therefore, the life span becomes shorter.
- the triplet energy must be lower than the host material of the light emitting layer to serve as a blocking layer.
- the EB-A of Table 2 has a smaller triplet energy than other materials, and in particular, is smaller than the host material. In this case, it can be seen that the efficiency of the device is deteriorated because it cannot function as a blocking layer. In view of these results, an organic electroluminescent device that satisfies the conditions of the present invention can obtain characteristics of low voltage and high efficiency and long life.
- a material such as HT-B having two amine groups applied in Comparative Examples 12 to 13 has a higher HOMO level according to the addition of an amine group serving as an electron donor compared to the structure of Formula 1.
- the hole transport layer as in Comparative Example 12 there is no problem in hole injection, and thus a low driving voltage is exhibited, but the hole injection is too large in the light emitting layer, so that the efficiency decreases as the light emitting region moves toward the electron transport layer.
- HT-B is applied to the electron blocking layer as in Comparative Example 13, as the difference in HOMO level between the electron blocking layer and the light emitting layer increases, it can be seen that all device characteristics are reduced by interfering with hole injection into the light emitting layer. have.
