Abstract
耐火性に優れる耐火部材でありながら、熱源接近時や接炎時に耐火部材が膨張し、断熱層を形成する事で、遮熱機能を発現し、内容物を保護する膨張性耐火耐火部材を提供する。 前記耐火部材は、熱伝導率が4W/(m・K)以上の非連続強化繊維と難燃性熱可塑性樹脂とで少なくとも構成され、前記非連続強化繊維が耐火部材中で分散している。この耐火部材の膨張後の空隙率は、30%以上である。
