その後、いずれのアルミニウム合金についても鋳塊表面を面削し、ろう材層用アルミニウム合金鋳塊と中間層用アルミニウム合金鋳塊については、所定の板厚まで熱間圧延を行い、表4に示す3層クラッド材となるようにそれぞれを組み合わせてクラッド熱間圧延を行った。
その後、途中焼鈍を行わずに0.3mmの板厚まで冷間圧延を行い、最終焼鈍にて再結晶させ、O材調質とし、熱交換器用アルミニウム合金ブレージングシートを製造した。
なお、得られた熱交換器用アルミニウム合金ブレージングシートは、外面側から、ろう材、中間層、心材の構成である。
これらの熱交換器用アルミニウム合金ブレージングシートを用いて、以下の評価1~3を行った。
これらの材料の製造結果について表5に示す。鋳造、圧延工程において、問題なく良好に製造できたものは〇、製造は可能であったが、困難であったものを△、製造できなかったものを×とした。
評価1で製造できたものについて、ろう材層同士が接合される部分においては一般的なドロンカップタイプの形状とし、一般的なドロンカップの形状では心材側同士が接合される部分においては、ろう材層側を折り返すように曲げ加工を行ってろう材層同士が接合するようにしたドロンカップ形状のチューブ成形を行い、一般的なアウターベアフィンと一般的なクラッドインナーフィンなどの部材と組み付けてドロンカップ熱交換器をろう付加熱し作製した。ノコロックフラックスを水で縣濁させたフラックス混合液を、組み付けた熱交換器にスプレーで塗布した後に乾燥させ、ろう付加熱条件は、窒素ガス雰囲気中で平均50℃/分の昇温速度にて600℃まで加熱し、3分保持後に室温まで降温した。その後、外観観察及びリーク試験を行った結果を表6に示す。外観上問題なく、かつ漏れがなかったものを〇とし、局所溶融や漏れが発生したものを×とした。
同様に評価1で製造できたものについて、単板でろう付加熱を行い、ASTM-G85
A3に規定されるSWAAT試験に供試した。ろう付加熱条件は評価2と同条件で、SWAATの評価面は外面側、試験時間は1000hとした。試験後の最大腐食深さを測定した結果を表7に示す。最大腐食深さが0.1mm以下を〇、0.1mmを超えて0.2mm以下を△、0.2mmを超えて貫通までを×とした。なお、評価3に限り、同板厚のA4343/A3003/A4343構成、両面10%クラッドの3層材を従来材(試験材No.26)として比較評価した。
3層クラッド材の製造結果については、実施例の材料はいずれも製造性良好であった。
一方、比較例の材料においては、No.16、17、23、25がクラッド圧延で未接合や割れが生じたため製造不可であった。No.17は一部心材で鋳造割れが生じた。No.22、24はクラッド圧延が困難であったが、最終的に製造は可能であった。

- 心材の空気側の面に、該心材側から順に、中間層とろう材層とがクラッドされて積層されている3層材であり、
該中間層は、Mnを0.2質量%以上0.35質量%未満、Siを0.6質量%以下、Feを0.7質量%以下、Cuを0.1質量%以下含有し、残部がAlと不可避的不純物からなるアルミニウム合金であり、
該心材は、Siを1.2質量%以下、Feを1.0質量%以下、Cuを0.3質量%以上1.0質量%以下、Mnを0.5質量%以上2.0質量%以下含有し、残部がAlと不可避的不純物からなるアルミニウム合金であり、
該ろう材層は、Siを4質量%以上13質量%以下含有し、残部がAlと不可避的不純物からなるアルミニウム合金であること、

- 前記心材を構成するアルミニウム合金が、更に、0.3質量%以下のTi、0.3質量%以下のZr、及び0.3質量%以下のCrのうちのいずれか1種類又は2種以上を含有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2いずれか1項記載の熱交換器用アルミニウム合金ブレージングシート。
- 前記ろう材層を構成するアルミニウム合金が、更に、0.1質量%以下のSrを含有することを特徴とする請求項1~3いずれか1項記載の熱交換器用アルミニウム合金ブレージングシート。
- 前記中間層のクラッド率が5~30%であることを特徴とする請求項1~4いずれか1項記載の熱交換器用アルミニウム合金ブレージングシート。
- 前記ろう材層のクラッド率が5~20%であることを特徴とする請求項1~5いずれか1項記載の熱交換器用アルミニウム合金ブレージングシート。
- 製造過程において、少なくとも前記心材を構成するアルミニウム合金は、均質化処理され、該均質化処理後クラッド熱間圧延及び冷間圧延され、且つ、該冷間圧延途中には焼鈍されず最終板厚でのみ再結晶焼鈍されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1~6いずれか1項記載の熱交換器用アルミニウム合金ブレージングシート。
