ここで、基材とは、撥水撥油性物品における物品自体の構成材を意味する。基材としては、繊維(天然繊維、合成繊維、混紡繊維等)、各種繊維製品、不織布、樹脂、紙、皮革、木材、金属、石、コンクリート、石膏、ガラス等が挙げられる。
含フッ素重合体は、単量体(a)に基づく構成単位を有する。含フッ素重合体は、単量体(b1)に基づく構成単位及び単量体(b2)に基づく構成単位のいずれか一方又は両方を更に有することが好ましい。
含フッ素重合体は、必要に応じて、単量体(c)に基づく構成単位及び単量体(d)に基づく構成単位のいずれか一方又は両方を更に有していてもよい。
単量体(a)は、炭素数が1~6のペルフルオロアルキル基を有する単量体である。
含フッ素重合体が単量体(a)に基づく構成単位を有することによって、環境負荷が少なく、かつ撥水撥油性に優れる撥水撥油性物品が得られる。
単量体(a)としては、撥水撥油性物品の撥水撥油性が更に優れる点から、化合物(1)が好ましい。

単量体(b1)は、Rf基を有さず、炭素数が12~30のアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリレートである。アルキル基の炭素数が前記範囲の下限値以上であれば、撥水撥油性物品の洗濯耐久性及び豪雨耐久性に優れる。アルキル基の炭素数が前記範囲の上限値以下であれば、重合操作における取り扱いが容易であり、収率よく含フッ素重合体を得ることができる。
単量体(b1)のアルキル基の炭素数は、撥水撥油性物品の洗濯耐久性及び豪雨耐久性が更に向上する点から、20~30が好ましく、20~24がより好ましい。
単量体(b1)の具体例としては、ステアリル(メタ)アクリレート、ベヘニル(メタ)アクリレート、イコシル(メタ)アクリレート等が挙げられる。
単量体(b2)は、ハロゲン化オレフィンである。
含フッ素重合体が単量体(b2)に基づく構成単位を有することによって、含フッ素重合体と基材との密着性が優れるため、撥水撥油性物品の洗濯耐久性及び豪雨耐久性が更に優れる。
単量体(b2)としては、塩素化オレフィン、フッ素化オレフィンが好ましい。
単量体(b2)としては、含フッ素重合体と基材との密着性が優れる点から、塩化ビニル、塩化ビニリデン、テトラフルオロエチレン、フッ化ビニリデンが好ましく、塩化ビニル、塩化ビニリデンがより好ましい。
単量体(c)は、架橋し得る官能基を有する単量体である。
含フッ素重合体が単量体(c)に基づく構成単位を有することによって、撥水撥油性物品の洗濯耐久性及び豪雨耐久性が更に優れる。
架橋し得る官能基としては、共有結合、イオン結合又は水素結合のうち少なくとも1つ以上の結合を有する官能基、又は、該結合の相互作用により架橋構造を形成できる官能基が好ましい。
該官能基としては、撥水撥油性物品の洗濯耐久性及び豪雨耐久性が優れる点から、イソシアネート基、ブロックドイソシアネート基、アルコキシシリル基、アミノ基、アルコキシメチルアミド基、シラノール基、アンモニウム基、アミド基、エポキシ基、水酸基、オキサゾリン基、カルボキシ基、アルケニル基、スルホン酸基等が好ましい。特に、エポキシ基、水酸基、ブロックドイソシアネート基、アルコキシシリル基、アミノ基、又はカルボキシ基が好ましい。
単量体(c)の具体例としては、N-メチロール(メタ)アクリルアミド、N-ブトキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、2-ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリレート、4-ヒドロキシブチル(メタ)アクリレート、2-イソシアナトエチル(メタ)アクリレートの3,5-ジメチルピラゾール付加体、3-イソシアナトプロピル(メタ)アクリレートの3,5-ジメチルピラゾール付加体、ダイアセトンアクリルアミド、グリシジルメタクリレート、グリセロール(メタ)アクリレート、ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリレートのポリカプロラクトンエステル、フェニルグリシジルエチルアクリレートトリレンジイソシアナート(AT-600、共栄社化学社製)又は3-(メチルエチルケトオキシム)イソシアナトメチル-3,5,5-トリメチルシクロヘキシル(2-ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート)シアナート(テックコートHE-6P、京絹化成社製)が撥水撥油性物品の洗濯耐久性及び豪雨耐久性が更に優れる点からより好ましい。なかでも、N-メチロール(メタ)アクリルアミド、2-ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリレート、4-ヒドロキシブチル(メタ)アクリレート、2-イソシアナトエチル(メタ)アクリレートの3,5-ジメチルピラゾール付加体、又は3-イソシアナトプロピル(メタ)アクリレートの3,5-ジメチルピラゾール付加体、又は3-クロロ-2-ヒドロキシプロピル(メタ)アクリレートが特に好ましい。
単量体(d)は、単量体(a)、単量体(b1)、単量体(b2)及び単量体(c)を除く単量体である。
単量体(d)としては、下記の化合物が挙げられる。

単量体(b):ベヘニル(メタ)アクリレート、ステアリル(メタ)アクリレート、塩化ビニル及び塩化ビニリデンからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種。
単量体(b1)に基づく構成単位の割合は、撥水撥油性物品の撥水撥油性、洗濯耐久性及び豪雨耐久性に優れるため、含フッ素重合体を構成する全ての単量体に基づく構成単位(100質量%)のうち、0~95.0質量%が好ましく、0.1~90.0質量%がより好ましく、3~89.0質量%が更に好ましく、3~86.9質量%が最も好ましい。
単量体(c)に基づく構成単位の割合は、撥水撥油性物品の撥水撥油性、洗濯耐久性及び豪雨耐久性に優れるため、含フッ素重合体を構成する全ての単量体に基づく構成単位(100質量%)のうち、0~20質量%が好ましく、0.1~10質量%がより好ましい。
単量体(d)に基づく構成単位の割合は、撥水撥油性物品の撥水撥油性、洗濯耐久性及び豪雨耐久性に優れるため、含フッ素重合体を構成する全ての単量体に基づく構成単位(100質量%)のうち、0~35質量%が好ましく、0~20質量%がより好ましい。
本発明における単量体に基づく構成単位の割合は、含フッ素重合体の製造時の単量体の仕込み量に基づいて算出される。
含フッ素重合体のMnは、3000~800000が好ましく、5000~600000がより好ましい。該Mnが前記範囲内であれば、撥水性と撥油性をともに充分に発現することができる。
含フッ素エーテル化合物は、複数のオキシペルフルオロアルキレン単位からなるペルフルオロポリエーテル鎖を有する化合物である。
含フッ素エーテル化合物としては、撥水撥油性物品の撥水性の洗濯耐久性及び撥水性の摩擦耐久性の点から、化合物(5)が好ましい。

本発明の撥水撥油性物品は、基材に、上述した特定の含フッ素重合体及び含フッ素エーテル化合物を付着させる方法によって製造される。
一段加工:基材を、含フッ素重合体及び含フッ素エーテル化合物を含む撥水撥油剤組成物で処理して、基材に、含フッ素重合体及び含フッ素エーテル化合物を付着させる方法。
二段加工:基材を、含フッ素重合体を含む第1の液で処理し、第1の液で処理された基材を、含フッ素エーテル化合物を含む第2の液で処理して、基材に、含フッ素重合体及び含フッ素エーテル化合物を付着させる方法。
撥水撥油剤組成物としては、後述する本発明の撥水撥油剤組成物を用いる。
基材を撥水撥油剤組成物で処理する方法としては、例えば、撥水撥油剤組成物を基材に塗布、噴霧又は浸漬した後、基材を乾燥させる方法等が挙げられる。
撥水撥油剤組成物中の含フッ素エーテル化合物の量は、撥水性の摩擦耐久性の点から、撥水撥油剤組成物中の含フッ素重合体100質量部に対して、0.1~100質量部が好ましく、撥水性の洗濯耐久性の点から、5~100質量部がより好ましく、30~100質量部が更に好ましい。含フッ素エーテル化合物の量が前記範囲内であれば、撥水撥油性物品の撥水撥油性、撥水性の洗濯耐久性及び撥水性の摩擦耐久性のバランスに優れる。
第1の液としては、後述する撥水撥油剤キットにおける第1の液と同様のものを用いる。また、第2の液としては、後述する撥水撥油剤キットにおける第2の液と同様のものを用いる。
二段加工における一段目の処理方法としては、例えば、第1の液を基材に、塗布、噴霧又は浸漬した後、乾燥する方法が挙げられる。
二段加工における二段目の処理方法としては、例えば、第1の液で処理された基材に、第2の液を塗布、噴霧又は浸漬した後、乾燥する方法が挙げられる。
本発明の撥水撥油剤組成物は、上述した特定の含フッ素重合体及び特定の含フッ素エーテル化合物を含む。本発明の撥水撥油剤組成物は、必要に応じて、媒体、界面活性剤、添加剤を含んでいてもよい。
本発明の撥水撥油剤組成物においては、環境負荷が少ない点から、含フッ素重合体及び含フッ素エーテル化合物が媒体中に粒子として分散していることが好ましい。
本発明の撥水撥油剤組成物中の固形分濃度は、上述した一段加工に用いる際には、撥水
撥油剤組成物(100質量%)中、0.2~7質量%が好ましく、0.2~5質量%がより好ましい。
媒体としては、水、アルコール、グリコール、グリコールエーテル、グリコールエステル、ハロゲン化合物、炭化水素、ケトン、エステル、エーテル、窒素化合物等が挙げられ、溶解性、取扱いの容易さの点から、水、アルコール、グリコール、グリコールエーテル及びグリコールエステルからなる群から選ばれた1種以上の媒体が好ましい。
媒体は、1種を単独でも、2種以上を混合して用いてもよい。媒体を2種以上混合して用いる場合、水と他の媒体とを混合して用いることが好ましい。混合した媒体を用いることによって、含フッ素重合体の溶解性、分散性の制御がしやすく、加工時における基材に対する浸透性、濡れ性、溶媒乾燥速度等の制御がしやすい。
本発明の撥水撥油剤組成物は、含フッ素重合体を20質量%含む組成物とした場合に、水以外の他の媒体を0~40質量%含むことが好ましく、1~20質量%含むことがより好ましい。
界面活性剤としては、炭化水素系界面活性剤又はフッ素系界面活性剤が挙げられ、それぞれ、アニオン性界面活性剤、ノニオン性界面活性剤、カチオン性界面活性剤、又は両性界面活性剤が挙げられる。
界面活性剤としては、添加剤との相溶性の点からは、ノニオン性界面活性剤と両性界面活性剤との併用が好ましく、含フッ素重合体の安定性の点からは、ノニオン性界面活性剤の単独使用、又はノニオン性界面活性剤とカチオン性界面活性剤との併用が好ましい。
ノニオン性界面活性剤とカチオン性界面活性剤との比(ノニオン性界面活性剤/カチオン性界面活性剤)は、97/3~40/60(質量比)が好ましい。
界面活性剤がカチオン性界面活性剤を含む場合、該カチオン性界面活性剤としては、国際公開第2010/047258号、国際公開第2010/123042号に記載された界面活性剤s7が好ましい。
界面活性剤が両性界面活性剤を含む場合、該両性界面活性剤としては、国際公開第2010/047258号、国際公開第2010/123042号に記載された界面活性剤s8が好ましい。
また、界面活性剤として、国際公開第2010/047258号、国際公開第2010/123042号に記載された界面活性剤s9(高分子界面活性剤)を用いてもよい。

添加剤としては、浸透剤(アセチレン基を中央に持ち左右対称の構造をした非イオン性界面活性剤や、日油社製ディスパノールシリーズ等)、消泡剤(日信化学工業社製オルフィンシリーズ、東レダウコーニング社製FSアンチフォームシリーズ等)、吸水剤、帯電防止剤(明成化学社製ディレクトールシリーズ等)、防しわ剤、風合い調整剤、造膜助剤、水溶性高分子(親水性ポリエステル及びその誘導体、親水性ポリエチレングリコール及びその誘導体、ポリアクリルアミド、ポリビニルアルコール等)、コロイダルシリカ(日産化学工業社製スノーテックス(商品名)シリーズ、ADEKA社製アデライトシリーズ等)、pH調整剤(ジエタノールアミン、トリエタノールアミン、酢酸、クエン酸等)、架橋剤、熱硬化触媒、架橋触媒、合成樹脂、繊維安定剤、非フッ素の撥水剤、前記含フッ素共重合体以外のフッ素系共重合体等が挙げられる。
カルボジイミド系架橋剤は、分子中にカルボジイミド基を有するポリマーであり、基材又は撥水撥油剤組成物中のカルボキシ基、アミノ基、活性水素基と優れた反応性を示す架橋剤である。
また、その他の架橋剤としては、ジビニルスルホン、ポリアミド及びそのカチオン誘導体、ポリアミン及びそのカチオン誘導体、ジグリシジルグリセロール等のエポキシ誘導体、(エポキシ-2,3-プロピル)トリメチルアンモニウムクロライド、N-メチル-N-(エポキシ-2,3-プロピル)モルホリニウムクロライド等のハライド誘導体、イソフタル酸ジヒドラジド、アジピン酸ジヒドラジド、セバチン酸ジヒドラジド、ドデカン二酸ジヒドラジド、1,6-ヘキサメチレンビス(N,N-ジメチルセミカルバジド)、1,1,1’,1,’-テトラメチル-4,4’-(メチレン-ジ-パラ-フェニレン)ジセミカルバジド、スピログリコール、エチレングリコールのクロロメチルエーテルのピリジニウム塩、ポリアミン-ポリアミド-エピクロヒドリン樹脂、ポリビニルアルコール又はその誘導体、ポリアクリルアミド又はその誘導体、グリオキサール樹脂系防しわ剤等が挙げられる。
本発明の撥水撥油剤組成物は、例えば、含フッ素重合体組成物と含フッ素エーテル組成物とを混合し、必要に応じて上記添加剤を加えることによって製造できる。
含フッ素重合体組成物は、含フッ素重合体と、媒体と、界面活性剤と、必要に応じて添加剤とを含む。本発明の撥水撥油剤組成物の製造に用いる含フッ素重合体組成物としては、環境負荷が少ない点から、含フッ素重合体のエマルションが好ましい。
方法(i):界面活性剤及び重合開始剤の存在下、媒体中にて単量体(a)と、必要に応じて単量体(b1)、単量体(b2)、単量体(c)及び単量体(d)からなる群から選ばれる1種以上とを含む単量体成分を重合して含フッ素重合体の溶液、分散液又はエマルションを得た後、必要に応じて、他の媒体、他の界面活性剤、添加剤を加える方法。
方法(ii):界面活性剤及び重合開始剤の存在下、媒体中にて単量体(a)と、必要に応じて単量体(b1)、単量体(b2)、単量体(c)及び単量体(d)からなる群から選ばれる1種以上とを含む単量体成分を重合して含フッ素重合体の溶液、分散液又はエマルションを得た後、含フッ素重合体を分離し、含フッ素重合体に媒体、界面活性剤、必要に応じて添加剤を加える方法。
重合法としては、分散重合法、乳化重合法、懸濁重合法等が挙げられる。
含フッ素重合体組成物の固形分濃度は、その製造直後は、含フッ素重合体組成物(100質量%)中、25~40質量%が好ましい。
含フッ素エーテル組成物は、含フッ素エーテル化合物と媒体とを含む。含フッ素エーテル組成物としては、含フッ素エーテル化合物の溶液又は分散液が挙げられる。撥水撥油剤組成物の製造に用いる含フッ素エーテル組成物としては、環境負荷を少なく基材に加工できる点から、含フッ素エーテル化合物の水性分散液が好ましい。含フッ素エーテル化合物の水性分散液は、例えば、含フッ素エーテル化合物、界面活性剤、及び水系媒体からなる混合物を、ホモミキサー又は高圧乳化機で混合分散することによって調製される。
本発明の撥水撥油剤キットは、上述した特定の含フッ素重合体を含む第1の液を収容した第1の容器と、含フッ素エーテル化合物を含む第2の液を収容した第2の容器とを有する。
(第1の液)
第1の液としては、上述した含フッ素重合体組成物が挙げられる。第1の液としては、環境負荷を少なく基材に加工できる点から、乳化重合法で得られた含フッ素重合体のエマルションが好ましい。
第1の液を上述した二段加工の一段目に用いる際には、含フッ素重合体のエマルションからなる第1の液を更に媒体で希釈し、必要に応じて添加剤を加えることが好ましい。
第1の液の固形分濃度は、上述した二段加工の一段目に用いる際には、第1の液(100質量%)中、0.2~7質量%が好ましく、0.2~5質量%がより好ましい。
第2の液としては、上述した含フッ素エーテル組成物が挙げられる。第2の液としては、取扱いの容易さ、初期の撥水性及び撥油性維持のしやすさの点から、含フッ素エーテル化合物の溶液が好ましい。
第2の液を上述した二段加工の二段目に用いる際には、含フッ素エーテル化合物の溶液からなる第2の液を更に媒体で希釈することが好ましい。
含フッ素エーテル化合物の溶液における媒体としては、含フッ素溶媒、含フッ素溶媒とケトン、エステル、エーテル等の有機溶媒との混合溶媒等が挙げられ、溶解性、取扱いの容易さ、非引火性である点から、含フッ素溶媒が好ましい。
<撥水撥油性物品の評価>
(撥油性)
試験布について、AATCC-TM118-1966の試験方法にしたがって評価した。撥油性は、表1に示す等級で表した。等級に+(-)を記したものは、それぞれの性質がわずかに良い(悪い)ことを示す。
試験布について、JIS L 1092のスプレー試験にしたがって評価した。撥水性は、1~5の5段階の等級で表した。点数が大きいほど撥水性が良好であることを示す。等級に+(-)を記したものは、当該等級の標準的なものと比べてそれぞれの性質がわずかに良い(悪い)ことを示す。
試験布について、JIS L 0217の別表103の水洗い法にしたがって、洗濯を5回又は20回繰り返した。洗濯後、室温23℃、湿度50%の部屋で一晩風乾させた後、試験布の前記撥水性を評価した。
摩擦試験機を用い、試験布の摩擦面を2000回又は10000回摩擦し、温度25℃、湿度55%の部屋で一晩風乾させた後、試験布の摩擦面の前記撥水性を評価した。
試験布について、JIS L 1092(c)法に記載の方法(ブンデスマン試験)にしたがって、降雨量を100cc/分、降雨水温を20℃、降雨時間10分とする条件で降雨させた後、撥水性、撥水性の洗濯耐久性及び摩擦耐久性を評価した。

AC-6000:1,1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6-トリデカフルオロオクタン(旭硝子社製)
(製造例1)
1000mLのステンレス鋼(SUS)製容器に、C6FMAの271.6g(79質量部)、HEMAの6.9g(2質量部)、PEO-13の6.9g、EPO-40の3.4g、ATMACの2.7g、AGE-30の6.9g、水の531.8g及びDPGの103.1g、StSHの0.3gを入れ、35℃で60分混合して混合液を得た。
得られた混合液を、35℃に保ちながら高圧乳化機(マントンゴーリン社製)を用いて、10MPaで前乳化した後、40MPaで処理して乳化液を得た。得られた乳化液の700gをSUS製反応容器に入れ、30℃以下となるまで冷却した。V-50の0.8gを加えて、気相を窒素置換した後、VdClの33.5g(13質量部)及びVCMの15.5g(6質量部)を酸素混入を防ぎながら導入し、撹拌しながら60℃で10時間重合反応を行った後、水を加えて固形分濃度が30質量%の含フッ素重合体(A-1)エマルションを得た。含フッ素重合体(A-1)における構成単位の割合は、C6FMA/HEMA/VdCl/VCM=79/2/13/6(質量%)であった。
1000mLのSUS製容器に、C6FMAの253.6g(74質量部)、STAの24.0g(7質量部)、MOI-BPの13.7g(4質量部)、PEO-30の93.9g、EPO-40の3.1g、ATMACの4.9g、水の439.3g及びDPGの102.8g、DoSHの3.4gを入れ、40℃で60分混合して混合液を得た。
得られた混合液を、40℃に保ちながら高圧乳化機(マントンゴーリン社製)を用いて、10MPaで前乳化した後、50MPaで処理して乳化液を得た。得られた乳化液の657gをSUS製反応容器に入れ、30℃以下となるまで冷却した。VA-061Aの7.0gを加えて、気相を窒素置換した後、VCMの36.0g(15質量部)を酸素混入を防ぎながら導入し、撹拌しながら65℃で10時間重合反応を行い、含フッ素重合体(A-2)エマルションを得た。含フッ素重合体(A-2)における構成単位の割合は、C6FMA/STA/MOI-BP/VCM=74/7/4/15(質量%)であった。
得られた混合液を、55℃に保ちながら高圧乳化機(マントンゴーリン社製)を用いて、10MPaで前乳化した後、50MPaで処理して乳化液を得た。得られた乳化液の736gをSUS製反応容器に入れ、30℃以下となるまで冷却した。V-601の0.8gを加えて、気相を窒素置換した後、VCMの13.7g(5質量部)を酸素混入を防ぎながら導入し、撹拌しながら65℃で20時間重合反応を行い、含フッ素重合体(A-3)エマルションを得た。含フッ素重合体(A-3)における構成単位の割合は、C6FMA/BeMA/VCM=90/5/5(質量%)であった。
含フッ素重合体(A-2)のエマルションと含フッ素重合体(A-3)のエマルションとを固形分の質量比が1:1となるように混合し、混合物に水を加えて固形分濃度が20質量%の含フッ素重合体(A-4)エマルションを得た。
1000mLのSUS製容器に、C6FMAの58.5g(17質量部)、BeAの197.9g(57.5質量部)、DOMの13.8g(4質量部)、HEMAの3.4g(1質量部)、PEO-30の89.5g、EPO-40の1.7g、ATMACの2.7g、水の446.4g及びDPGの103.2g、DoSHの3.4gを入れ、55℃で60分混合して混合液を得た。
得られた混合液を、55℃に保ちながら高圧乳化機(マントンゴーリン社製)を用いて、10MPaで前乳化した後、50MPaで処理して乳化液を得た。得られた乳化液の690.6gをSUS製反応容器に入れ、30℃以下となるまで冷却した。VA-061Aの6.5gを加えて、気相を窒素置換した後、VCMの52.9g(20.5質量部)を酸素混入を防ぎながら導入し、撹拌しながら50℃で14時間重合反応を行った後、水を加えて固形分濃度が30質量%の含フッ素重合体(A-5)エマルションを得た。含フッ素重合体(A-5)における構成単位の割合は、C6FMA/BeA/DOM/HEMA/VCM=17/57.5/4/1/20.5(質量%)であった。
(調製例1)
含フッ素重合体(A-1)エマルションを水道水で希釈し、固形分濃度を1.0質量%に調整した後、メラミン樹脂架橋剤(DIC社製、ベッカミン(商品名)M3)及び酸触媒(DIC社製、アクセラレーターACX)を、それぞれの濃度が0.21質量%、0.3質量%となるように添加し、更にブロックドイソシアネート系架橋剤(明成化学工業社製、メイカネートTP-10)を、濃度が0.6質量%となるように添加し、第1の液(11)を得た。
(調製例2)
含フッ素重合体(A-1)エマルションを含フッ素重合体エマルション(A-4)に変更した以外は、調製例1と同様にして第1の液(12)を得た。
含フッ素重合体(A-1)エマルションを含フッ素重合体エマルション(A-5)に変更した以外は、調製例1と同様にして第1の液(13)を得た。
(調製例4~9)
化合物(5-1)をAC-6000に溶解し、表2又は表3に示す固形分濃度の第2の液(21)~(26)を得た。
化合物(5-1)を化合物(5-2)に変更した以外は、調製例4と同様にして第2の液(27)を得た。
(調製例11)
化合物(5-1)を化合物(10)に変更した以外は、調製例4と同様にして第2の液(28)を得た。
(調製例12)
化合物(5-1)を化合物(11)に変更した以外は、調製例4と同様にして第2の液(29)を得た。
(実施例1)
パディング法によって、第1の液(11)に、ナイロン高密度タフタを浸漬し、ウェットピックアップが50質量%となるように絞った。これを110℃で90秒間乾燥した後、180℃で60秒間乾燥した。
第1の液(11)で処理されたナイロン高密度タフタに、バーコート法によって第2の液(21)をコートした。これを180℃で120秒間乾燥したものを試験布とした。
第2の液(21)を、第2の液(22)~(26)に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして試験布を得た。
(実施例7)
第1の液(11)を第1の液(12)に変更し、第2の液(21)を第2の液(24)に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして試験布を得た。
(実施例8)
第1の液(12)を第1の液(13)に変更した以外は、実施例7と同様にして試験布を作製した。
第2の液(21)を第2の液(27)に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして試験布を得た。
(実施例10)
第2の液(21)を第2の液(29)に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして試験布を得た。
パディング法によって第1の液(11)に、ナイロン高密度タフタを浸漬し、ウェットピックアップが50質量%となるように絞った。これを110℃で90秒間乾燥した後、180℃で60秒間乾燥したものを試験布とした。
(比較例2)
第1の液(11)を第1の液(12)に変更した以外は、比較例1と同様にして撥水撥油性評価用試験布を作製した。
(比較例3)
第1の液(11)を第1の液(13)に変更した以外は、比較例1と同様にして撥水撥油性評価用試験布を作製した。
(比較例4)
第2の液(21)を第2の液(28)に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして試験布を得た。
上記した実施例1~10、及び比較例1~4で得られたそれぞれの試験布について、前述した、撥油性、撥水性、撥水性の洗濯耐久性、撥水性の摩擦耐久性、及び豪雨耐久性を評価した。それぞれの結果を下記表2~4に示す。
Claims (13)
- 基材と、該基材の表面に付着した、下記含フッ素重合体及び下記含フッ素エーテル化合物と、を有することを特徴とする撥水撥油性物品。
含フッ素重合体:炭素数が1~6のペルフルオロアルキル基を有する単量体(a)に基づく構成単位を有する重合体。
含フッ素エーテル化合物:下式(5)で表される化合物。

但し、A及びBは、それぞれ独立して-CF3、-OH、-C(O)OCH3、-C(O)OH、又は加水分解性シリル基であり(但し、A及びBの両方が-C(O)OHとなる場合を除く。)、Uは、フッ素原子を有してもよい2価有機基、酸素原子(但し、AがCF3-のときのみ。)又は単結合であり、Vは、フッ素原子を有してもよい2価有機基又は単結合(但し、Bが-CF3のときのみ。)であり、Wは、下式(6)で表される基である。

単量体(b1):ポリフルオロアルキル基を有さず、炭素数12~30のアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリレート。
単量体(b2):ハロゲン化オレフィン。 - 前記含フッ素重合体が、さらに、架橋し得る官能基を有する単量体(c)に基づく構成単位及びその他の単量体(d)(単量体(a)、(b1)、(b2)を除く)に基づく構成単位のいずれか一方又は両方を有する、請求項3に記載の撥水撥油性物品。
- 請求項1~4のいずれかの撥水撥油性物品を製造する方法であり、
基材に、前記含フッ素重合体及び前記含フッ素エーテル化合物を付着させる、撥水撥油性物品の製造方法。 - 前記基材を、前記含フッ素重合体及び前記含フッ素エーテル化合物を含む撥水撥油剤組成物で処理する、請求項5に記載の撥水撥油性物品の製造方法。
- 前記基材を、前記含フッ素重合体を含む第1の液で処理し、
前記第1の液で処理された基材を、前記含フッ素エーテル化合物を含む第2の液で処理する、請求項5に記載の撥水撥油性物品の製造方法。 - 前記第2の液が、大気圧における沸点(標準沸点)が50℃以上である含フッ素溶媒を含む、請求項7に記載の撥水撥油性物品の製造方法。
- 前記含フッ素溶媒が、1,1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6-トリデカフルオロオクタン、1,1,2,2-テトラフルオロエチル-2,2,2-トリフルオロエチルエーテル、1-メトキシ-1,1,2,2,3,3,3-ヘプタフルオロプロパン、1-メトキシ-1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,4-ノナフルオロブタン、1-エトキシ-1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,4-ノナフルオロブタン、1,1,1,2,2,3,4,5,5,5-1デカフルオロ-3-メトキシ-4-トリフルオロメチルペンタン、1,1,1,2,2,3,4,5,5,5-デカフルオロペンタン、ポリ(1,1,2,3,3,3-ヘキサフルオロプロペンオキシド)、1,3-ビストリフルオロメチルベンゼン、1,4-トリフルオロメチルベンゼン、トリフルオロトルエン、ペルフルオロベンゼン及びペルフルオロブチルアミンからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種である、請求項8に記載の撥水撥油性物品の製造方法。
- 前記含フッ素重合体100質量部に対する前記含フッ素エーテル化合物の量が、0.1~100質量部である請求項5~9のいずれか一項に記載の撥水撥油性物品の製造方法。
- 前記含フッ素重合体100質量部に対する前記含フッ素エーテル化合物の量が、30~100質量部である請求項5~10のいずれか一項に記載の撥水撥油性物品の製造方法。
- 下記含フッ素重合体及び下記含フッ素エーテル化合物を含む、撥水撥油剤組成物。
含フッ素重合体:炭素数が1~6のペルフルオロアルキル基を有する単量体(a)に基づく構成単位を有する重合体。
含フッ素エーテル化合物:下式(5)で表される化合物。
