Description
この発明は電動機の制御装置に関し、主に車両に搭載され、エンジンの始動やトルクアシスト時には電動機として動作し、エンジンの始動後には発電機としても動作する発電電動機の制御装置に適用できるものである。
近年、燃費の向上や、環境基準への適合を目的とし、発電電動機を搭載し、車両の停止時にエンジンを停止させ発進時に発電電動機によりエンジンの再始動を行ういわゆるアイドルストップを行う車両が開発されている。このような車両用に用いられる発電電動機は小型、低コスト、高トルクが求められるため、巻線界磁式発電電動機を用いて、矩形波通電による駆動を行うことが多い。
バッテリからの供給電力でこのような電動機を動作させる場合、頻繁に過大な電力供給を要するためバッテリ電圧が低下する。さらに、低温時やバッテリの劣化が進んだ場合などは特に電圧低下が大きくなる。この電圧低下に対する抑制手段として、車両システムに電源制御装置を設け、バッテリ状態と電気負荷の作動状態に基づいて電源電圧の変化を予測し、電気負荷の電流を負荷コントローラによって制限する手法が提案されている。(特許文献1を参照)
バッテリからの供給電力でこのような電動機を動作させる場合、頻繁に過大な電力供給を要するためバッテリ電圧が低下する。さらに、低温時やバッテリの劣化が進んだ場合などは特に電圧低下が大きくなる。この電圧低下に対する抑制手段として、車両システムに電源制御装置を設け、バッテリ状態と電気負荷の作動状態に基づいて電源電圧の変化を予測し、電気負荷の電流を負荷コントローラによって制限する手法が提案されている。(特許文献1を参照)
ところが、特許文献1では、従来の車両システムに対し電源制御装置と負荷コントローラの設置が必要であるため、開発工数の増大、コストアップ、スペース圧迫などの課題があった。
この発明は、先述した課題を解決するためになされたもので、バッテリ電圧に基づいて自律的に電動機出力を低減する電動機の制御装置を提供することを目的とするものである。
この発明に係る電動機の制御装置は、バッテリで駆動される電動機の駆動時のバッテリ電圧を検出するバッテリ電圧検出手段、および前記電動機の駆動中に前記バッテリ電圧検出手段により検出されたバッテリ電圧が所定の電圧を下回った場合に前記電動機の消費電流を低減してバッテリ電圧を前記所定の電圧以上に保つ最低電圧保持手段を備え、バッテリ電圧を前記所定の電圧以上に保つことができるものである。
この発明によれば、低コストで、駆動時のバッテリ電圧の低下を抑制し、バッテリ電圧を所定の電圧以上に保つことができる。

図1はこの発明にかかる制御装置を搭載した発電電動機を搭載する車両システムを示す説明図である。
図1において、発電電動機1は、電力変換装置11と回転電機12とから構成されている。回転電機12は、ベルト等の動力伝達手段4を介して内燃機関3に連結されている。回転電機12は、内燃機関3を始動させるときは、配線であるハーネス(以下、「ハーネス」と記す)5を介してバッテリもしくはキャパシタ等からなる電源2から発電電動機1へ電力が供給されて動作し、動力伝達手段4を介して内燃機関3を回転させてこれを始動させる。
図1において、発電電動機1は、電力変換装置11と回転電機12とから構成されている。回転電機12は、ベルト等の動力伝達手段4を介して内燃機関3に連結されている。回転電機12は、内燃機関3を始動させるときは、配線であるハーネス(以下、「ハーネス」と記す)5を介してバッテリもしくはキャパシタ等からなる電源2から発電電動機1へ電力が供給されて動作し、動力伝達手段4を介して内燃機関3を回転させてこれを始動させる。
図2は、発電電動機1の詳細を示す説明図である。回転電機12は界磁巻線式の同期機であり、固定子に設けられた電機子巻線122と、回転子に設けられた界磁巻線121とを備えている。また、回転電機12には、回転子の回転位置・回転速度を検出する位置センサ123が設けられている。
電力変換装置11は、回転電機12の界磁巻線121に接続された界磁電力変換部112と、回転電機12の電機子巻線122に接続された電機子電力変換部113と、界磁電力変換部112と電機子電力変換部113に対して電力変換素子のオン・オフ指令(以下、ゲート信号という)生成を行う制御装置111と、界磁電流を検出するための電流センサ114とを備える。電力変換装置11は、この発明の実施の形態1による発電電動機の制御装置を構成する。
界磁電力変換部112は、制御装置111からのゲート信号に基づいて動作し、PWM制御によって界磁巻線121に流れる界磁電流を制御する。この界磁電力変換部112は、一般的にはMOSFETによるハーフブリッジ回路により構成される。
電機子電力変換部113は、制御装置111からのゲート信号に基づいて、電機子コイル122へ三相交流電圧(Vu,Vv,Vw)を印加し電機子電流を通電させる。また、このとき同時に界磁電力変換部112から界磁巻線121に界磁電流を供給する。これにより、回転電機12は、三相同期電動機として動作し、動力伝達手段4を介して内燃機関3を始動させる。
また、電機子電力変換部113は、一般的にはMOSFETによる3相ブリッジ回路が用いられる。
また、電機子電力変換部113は、一般的にはMOSFETによる3相ブリッジ回路が用いられる。
次に、このように構成されたこの発明の実施の形態1による発電電動機の制御部の動作について説明する。
図3は、バッテリ端子部の電圧を推定するための制御ブロックの関係を図示したものである。

発電電動機は、上位コントローラによって駆動を指令されると、指令処理部201からの駆動トルク指令値T*と、回転速度検出部202が検出した回転速度NMGと、B端子電圧検出部203が検出した入力電圧VBと、界磁電流検出部204が検出した界磁電流Ifをもとに、消費電流推定部205にて運転状態に応じた消費電流IB^の瞬時値をリアルタイムで推定する。
なお、上記消費電流は、バッテリから発電電動機へ供給される直流電流である。
また、この消費電流推定処理は、あらかじめこれらの要素から消費電流を算出するマップを用意しておき、それを参照してもよい。

次に、電源2と発電電動機を接続するハーネス5の配線抵抗Rhと、上記消費電流IB^と、B端子電圧VBをもとに、バッテリ電圧検出手段であるバッテリ電圧推定部206にてオームの法則に則してバッテリ電圧Vbat^を以下の式1により推定する。
Vbat^ = VB + Rh・IB^ …(式1)

また、配線抵抗Rhはあらかじめ制御装置内に固定値として保持しておき、計算時に参照する。
そして、最低電圧保持手段である消費電流低減部207にて、発電電動機の常時駆動中にバッテリ電圧推定値Vbat^の瞬時値が、発電電動機が内燃機関等の電動機負荷を駆動するにあたり、当該駆動に最低限必要な所定の電圧(以下、「電圧低下判定閾値」と記す)を下回った場合、制御装置111から界磁電力変換部、ならびに電機子電力変換部へのゲート信号を制御し、バッテリ電圧が電圧低下判定閾値以上を保つよう消費電流を低減する。
そして、最低電圧保持手段である消費電流低減部207にて、発電電動機の常時駆動中にバッテリ電圧推定値Vbat^の瞬時値が、発電電動機が内燃機関等の電動機負荷を駆動するにあたり、当該駆動に最低限必要な所定の電圧(以下、「電圧低下判定閾値」と記す)を下回った場合、制御装置111から界磁電力変換部、ならびに電機子電力変換部へのゲート信号を制御し、バッテリ電圧が電圧低下判定閾値以上を保つよう消費電流を低減する。
なお、電動機(実施の形態1における回転電機12)の消費電流の低減手段としては、電機子電力変換部にて正弦波の交流電圧を印加するように制御する、いわゆる正弦波PWM制御を行う場合であれば、ゲート信号のDUTY比を低減し、電機子コイル122の相電圧を小さくしてもよいし、バッテリ電圧が電圧低下判定閾値以上となるまで指令処理部201で処理されるトルク指令をPI制御で下方修正してもよいし、また、界磁電力変換部へのゲート信号のDUTY比を低減してもよい。
以上のようにして、本発明の実施の形態1では、従来の車両システムに新たな装置を設けることなく、駆動時のバッテリ電圧の低下を抑制し、駆動するにあたり最低限必要な電圧以上に保つことができる。また、駆動時のバッテリ電圧の低下に対し、一定以上の電圧を保持することができるため、バッテリを動作源とする他ECUの不定動作を回避することができる。また、制御装置111内に演算プログラムとデータエリアを追加するのみで実現可能であるため、新たに車両システムに電圧センサ等の検出部を設ける必要がなく、低コスト化が図れる。
実施の形態2.
発明の実施の形態2では、実施の形態1において行っていた消費電流の推定に代えて、図4に示すような内臓電流センサ115を設け、内臓電流センサ115で消費電流を直接検出する。バッテリから発電電動機へ供給される消費電流(実値)IBを直接検出する。その後、電源2と発電電動機を接続するハーネス5の配線抵抗Rhと、上記消費電流IBと、B端子電圧VBをもとに、バッテリ電圧推定部206にてオームの法則に則してバッテリ電圧Vbat^を、以下の式2により推定する。
Vbat^ = VB + Rh・IB …(式2)
消費電流低減部207にて、発電電動機の駆動時にバッテリ電圧推定値Vbat^が電圧低下判定閾値を下回った場合、制御装置111から界磁電力変換部、ならびに電機子電力変換部へのゲート信号を制御し、バッテリ電圧が電圧低下判定閾値以上を保つよう消費電流を低減する。
発明の実施の形態2では、実施の形態1において行っていた消費電流の推定に代えて、図4に示すような内臓電流センサ115を設け、内臓電流センサ115で消費電流を直接検出する。バッテリから発電電動機へ供給される消費電流(実値)IBを直接検出する。その後、電源2と発電電動機を接続するハーネス5の配線抵抗Rhと、上記消費電流IBと、B端子電圧VBをもとに、バッテリ電圧推定部206にてオームの法則に則してバッテリ電圧Vbat^を、以下の式2により推定する。

消費電流低減部207にて、発電電動機の駆動時にバッテリ電圧推定値Vbat^が電圧低下判定閾値を下回った場合、制御装置111から界磁電力変換部、ならびに電機子電力変換部へのゲート信号を制御し、バッテリ電圧が電圧低下判定閾値以上を保つよう消費電流を低減する。
以上のように実施の形態2では、直接センサで検出した消費電流をもとにバッテリ電圧を推定するため、より精度の高いバッテリ電圧が推定できる。
実施の形態3.
発明の実施の形態3では、実施の形態1において行っていた消費電流の推定およびバッテリ電圧の推定に代えて、図5に示すような一般的に車両に搭載されているバッテリ管理装置21内の通信インタフェース7と制御装置の通信インタフェース116間で通信線6を介しバッテリ電圧Vbat_commを取得、検出する。消費電流低減部207にて、発電電動機の駆動時にバッテリ電圧推定値Vbat_commが電圧低下判定閾値を下回った場合、制御装置111から界磁電力変換部、ならびに電機子電力変換部へのゲート信号を制御し、バッテリ電圧が電圧低下判定閾値以上を保つよう消費電流を低減する。
発明の実施の形態3では、実施の形態1において行っていた消費電流の推定およびバッテリ電圧の推定に代えて、図5に示すような一般的に車両に搭載されているバッテリ管理装置21内の通信インタフェース7と制御装置の通信インタフェース116間で通信線6を介しバッテリ電圧Vbat_commを取得、検出する。消費電流低減部207にて、発電電動機の駆動時にバッテリ電圧推定値Vbat_commが電圧低下判定閾値を下回った場合、制御装置111から界磁電力変換部、ならびに電機子電力変換部へのゲート信号を制御し、バッテリ電圧が電圧低下判定閾値以上を保つよう消費電流を低減する。
以上のように実施の形態3では、バッテリ電圧の実値をもとに消費電流の低減制御を行うため、高い制御精度でバッテリの電圧保持を行うことができる。ただし、本制御においてはリアルタイム性が重要であるため、高速通信が必要である。

- バッテリで駆動される電動機の駆動時のバッテリ電圧を検出するバッテリ電圧検出手段、および
前記電動機の駆動中に前記バッテリ電圧検出手段により検出されたバッテリ電圧が所定の電圧を下回った場合に前記電動機の消費電流を低減してバッテリ電圧を前記所定の電圧以上に保つ最低電圧保持手段
を備えた電動機の制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の電動機の制御装置において、
前記消費電流を検出する消費電流検出手段を備え、前記消費電流検出手段で検出された前記消費電流が低減され、
