包装体の封緘に貼着された、前記粘着ラベルが開封のため切断された時には、前記中間部の独立した島状の酸素検知剤層が同時に切断されるように形成されているものである。
基材上に酸素の有無に応じて変色する変色層を有する表示体であって、
前記変色層は、
酸化還元色素と、食用色素と、還元糖と、可食性還元促進剤と、可食性保湿剤と、可食性増粘剤を含有する酸素検知組成物で形成され、
前記酸化還元色素は、
組成物全体に対して、0.03~0.5質量%含有され、
前記酸化還元色素と食用色素の配合比は、1:0.5~1:1.5であって、
前記可食性増粘剤は、
組成物全体に対して、0.1~10質量%含有されていること
を特徴とする表示体である。
請求項1に記載の表示体において、
前記変色層は、
文字、図柄及び記号の、少なくとも1つを形成していることを
を特徴とするものである。

前記酸素検知組成物は、
接着性素材を含有すること
を特徴とするものである。

ポリビニルアルコール系樹脂であること

前記基材は、
インクジェットラベル基材であること
を特徴とするものである。
請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の表示体において、
前記基材は、
CPP、PE又はセロファンで構成されたものであること
を特徴とするものである。
ガスバリア性材料からなる包装体内に、請求項1~6のいずれかに記載の表示体が封入されていること
を特徴とする包装体である。
この表示体は、その変色層を形成する酸素検知組成物が、酸素の有無に応じて可逆的に変色するものであるので、無酸素状態から有酸素状態に移行すると、前記変色層が変色する。
したがって、前記変色層が文字、図柄及び記号などで形成されている場合には、前記文字、図柄及び記号などで構成された商品に関する情報が、前記変色によって強調的に表示される。
さらに、前記酸素検知組成物は、前記可食性増粘剤を、組成物全体に対して、0.1~10質量%で含有しているので、良好な発色・変色性が得られ、かつ発色・変色が早くなる。
なお、この発明について、好ましい代表的な例を中心に説明するが、この発明はこのような代表例に限定されるものではなく、要旨を変更しない範囲内において種々改良を加えることができるものである。
この変色層は、酸素の有無に応じて可逆的に変色する酸素検知組成物によって形成されている。
したがって、前記変色層も、酸素の有無に応じて可逆的に変色するものである。
かかる化合物としては、例えば、
メチレンブルー、ニューメチレンブルー、ニュートラルレッド、インジゴカルミン、アシッドレッド、サフラニンT、フェノサフラニン、カプリブルー、ナイルブルー、ジフェニルアミン、キシレンシアノール、ニトロジフェニルアミン、フェロイン、N-フェニルアントラニル酸などが挙げられる。
具体的には、前記酸化還元色素の含有量は、組成物全体に対して、0.03~0.5質量%であって、好ましくは0.05~0.2質量%である。
例えば、食用赤色2号、食用赤色3号、食用赤色40号、食用赤色102号、食用赤色104号、食用赤色106号、及び天然系コチニール色素などの食用赤色色素;
食用黄色4号、食用黄色5号、及び天然系紅花黄色素などの食用黄色色素;
食用青色1号、及び食用青色2号などの青色色素などが挙げられる。
なお、食品色素は、前記した1種ないし2種以上を、任意に混合して使用することができる。
前記還元糖としては、アスコルビン酸、アスコルビン酸塩、エリソルビン酸、エリソルビン酸塩や、アラビノース、エリストール、ガラクトース、キシロース、グルコース、マンノース、フルクトース、ラクトースなどが挙げられる。
その際、還元力と溶解性の観点から、フルクトース、特に、D-フルクトースを選択することが好ましい。
例えば、水酸化ナトリウム、水酸化カリウム、炭酸ナトリウム、炭酸カリウムなどのアルカリ剤が挙げられる。
例えば、グリセリン、プロピレングリコールなどが挙げられる。
前記増粘剤としては、デキストリン、カラギーナン、寒天、セルロース(ヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロースなど)、アルギン酸ソーダなどが挙げられる。
この発明において、前記接着性素材としては、ぎ酸ビニル樹脂、酢酸ビニル樹脂、プロピオン酸ビニル樹脂などの、ポリビニルアルコール系樹脂などの可食性の接着剤を使用することができる。
前記接着性素材としては、好ましくは、食品添加物として使用される酢酸ビニル樹脂が選択される。
前記接着性素材を配合した場合には、基材、特にプラスチックで構成された基材に対して、良好な接着ないし密着性が得られる。
前記溶媒としては、可食性のものであれば、特に制限なく使用することができる。
このような溶媒としては、水、エタノールが挙げられる。
なお、エタノールに水を加える場合において、水は、エタノールに対して好ましくは10~70質量%、より好ましくは35~55質量%の範囲で使用することができる。
前記印刷方法としては、良好な印刷適性が得られることから、好ましくはフレキソ印刷が選択される。
このような構成によって、文字、図柄及び記号などからなる商品に関する情報などを印刷又は塗布された変色層は、無酸素状態から有酸素状態に移行すると、所定の時間の経過後に変色するので、前記情報が変色前よりも強調して表示される。
前記基材として、インクジェットラベル基材(インクジェット方式の印刷ヘッドによりラベルを作成する際に用いられる基材)や、ポリプロピレン(CPP,OPP)、ポリエチレン(PE)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、又はセロファンで構成されたものを選択すると、前記酸素検知組成物に含まれる前記増粘剤の作用効果によって、良好な発色・変色性が得られ、かつ発色・変色が早いので好ましい。
したがって、この表示体を、例えば、商品の購入者のみに特典情報を知らせるためのキャンペーンラベルや、商品が開封された場合に、開封を確認できるセキュリティーラベル(改ざん防止ラベル)に適用することができる。
下記表1に示した組成に従い、各成分を混合し、攪拌して、酸素検知組成物を得た。
下記表2に示した構成に基づき、下記製造方法にしたがって、表示体を作成した。
各種基材の上に、フレキソ印刷機(MPS製、EC330)を用いて、上記製造例において得られた酸素検知組成物を、4g/m2の割合で印刷して変色層を形成せしめ、変色層を有するシート状の表示体を得た。
上記実施例1~15において得られた表示体について、下記試験方法に基づき変色試験を行った。その結果を表3に示す。
表示体をガスバリア性透明容器内に入れ、容器内を窒素で置換した後に、温度25℃で密封保存し、数時間後の変色層の色彩の変化を目視により確認した。
確認後、容器から表示体を取り出し、数時間後の変色層の色彩の変化を目視により確認した。
得られた表示体は、いずれも密封保存してから数時間後に、青紫色から赤色になった。
容器を開封すると、数時間後に、青紫色に戻った。
以上のことから、この発明の表示体は、その変色層が可食性の人体に安全な成分で構成されているにもかかわらず、開封後の有酸素状態で変色して、図柄及び記号などの商品に関する情報などを強調して表示する作用効果を有することは、明らかである。
下記表4に示した組成に従い、各成分を混合し、攪拌して、酸素検知組成物を得た。
下記表5に示した構成に基づくこと以外、実施例1と同様の方法により、表示体を得た。
上記実施例16~24において得られた表示体について、試験例1と同様の試験方法に基づき変色試験を行った。その結果を表6に示す。
得られた表示体は、いずれも密封保存してから数時間後に、青紫色から赤色になった。
容器を開封すると、数時間後に、青紫色に戻った。
以上のことから、この発明の表示体は、その変色層が可食性の人体に安全な成分で構成されているにもかかわらず、開封後の有酸素状態で変色して、図柄及び記号などの商品に関する情報などを強調して表示する作用効果を有することは、明らかである。
上記製造例1において得られた酸素検知組成物を、紙(富士ゼロックス製V-paper,秤量64g/m2)に文字及び図柄として印刷することによって得られた表示体を、ガスバリア性の包装体に脱酸素剤とともに封入し、数時間後の変色層の色彩の変化を目視により確認した。
確認後、包装体から表示体を取り出し、数時間後の変色層の色彩の変化を目視により確認した。
封入から数時間後に、表示体の表面に印刷された文字及び図柄は、青紫色から赤色になった。
包装体を開封すると、数時間後に青紫色に戻った。
以上のことから、この発明の表示体は、密封されたガスバリア性の包装体から取り出して酸素に晒すと、その変色層が変色して、図柄及び記号などの商品に関する情報などを強調して表示する作用効果を有することは、明らかである。
しかも、前記表示体の変色層を構成する酸素検知組成物は、可食性の成分のみで構成されているので、人体に安全であるので、食品や医療品などを含む包装体に安心して封入できるものである。
したがって、食品や医療品などを含む包装体を、製造ないし取扱う業界に利用される可能性の高いものである。
Claims (7)
- 基材上に酸素の有無に応じて変色する変色層を有する表示体であって、
前記変色層は、
酸化還元色素と、食用色素と、還元糖と、可食性還元促進剤と、可食性保湿剤と、可食性増粘剤を含有する酸素検知組成物で形成され、
前記酸化還元色素は、
組成物全体に対して、0.03~0.5質量%含有され、
前記酸化還元色素と食用色素の配合比は、1:0.5~1:1.5であって、
前記可食性増粘剤は、
組成物全体に対して、0.1~10質量%含有されていること
を特徴とする表示体。 - 前記変色層は、
文字、図柄及び記号の、少なくとも1つを形成していること
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示体。 - 前記酸素検知組成物は、
接着性素材を含有すること
を特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の表示体。 - 前記接着性素材は、
