Abstract
Selon un aspect, la présente invention concerne un dispositif électroluminescent plan comportant un substrat, et une pluralité d'éléments électroluminescents plans disposés sur le substrat. La pluralité d'éléments électroluminescents plans sont pourvus chacun d'une première électrode du côté proche du substrat, d'une seconde électrode du côté éloigné du substrat, et d'une couche électroluminescente organique prise en sandwich entre la première électrode et la seconde électrode. La seconde électrode comprend une couche mince métallique qui est transparente à la lumière. Parmi des éléments électroluminescents plans adjacents, la seconde électrode d'un élément électroluminescent plan et la première électrode d'un autre élément électroluminescent plan sont connectées par l'intermédiaire de la couche électroluminescente organique disposée dans chacun des éléments électroluminescents plans adjacents. Le dispositif électroluminescent plan comporte également une couche de base présente entre les couches électroluminescentes organiques disposées dans les éléments électroluminescents adjacents, la couche de base étant intercalée entre la seconde électrode et le substrat tout en étant en contact avec la seconde électrode du ou des éléments électroluminescents plans.
