Definitions
- Drinking container unit with a drinking container and a lid / base
- the present invention relates to a drinking container unit, preferably for carbonated drinks, such as beer or sparkling wine, or wine, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Generic drinking container units have a drinking container with a drinking opening, in particular in the dimension of the opening of a drinking glass on.
- the background of the invention is to combine the advantages of a bottle, that is about its industrial fillability and mobile handling, with the advantages of a glass, that is about the increased drinking pleasure.
- the present invention is directed in particular to be able to close the required for the increased drinking pleasure wide drinking opening efficiently, safely and robustly, without plummeting in expenses.
- Another, possibly independently claimable aspect of the invention aims to make the handling of a multi-part drinking container in a bottling plant as comfortable as possible.
- German Utility Model DE 20 2004 015 220 U1 discloses a lid which can be coupled in a bayonet-like manner to a drinking opening.
- Another generic prior art is known from the documents US 2009/0001043 A1 and CH 703 939 A2.
- a disadvantage of this prior art is that the lids are not able to withstand the high internal container pressures, which are present in carbonated beverages, without deformation. Frequently, the deformations here are of such dimensions that the tightness of the drinking container unit to the environment suffers.
- the object of the invention is to remedy or at least mitigate the disadvantages of the prior art.
- a drinking container unit is to be disclosed in which the lid securely closes the (wide) drinking opening even under changing environmental conditions and the lid is at the same time detachable from the drinking container reversibly and without high expenditure within a very short time.
- another aspect of the invention is the object of such a drinking-container unit, which has a base and a separate drinking container to be filled therefrom, efficiently, that means, for example, energy / material friendly and low noise to move on the filling line of a bottling plant.
- a first independently claimable article of the invention is accordingly a drinking-container unit for receiving a liquid, which has at least one drinking container and a lid.
- the drinking container forms or has an at least approximately rotationally symmetrical drinking opening defined by a drinking circulatory edge, in particular in the dimension of the opening of a drinking glass.
- the dimension of the opening of a drinking glass is here understood as meaning an opening to which the lips of a consumer can snuggle up comfortably.
- Such openings are in particular larger than bottle openings, which are optimized for a bottling plant.
- the lid is prepared to close the drinking container, in the interior of which, in the filled state, an increased pressure relative to the environment, mainly due to the carbonic acid present preferably, at the drinking opening via a reversibly detachable screw formed by a cover outer thread and a container internal thread ,
- the lid and the screw connection are therefore designed such that they withstand an overpressure in the container interior with respect to an atmospheric pressure.
- annular groove which is formed by the cover and opens in the container height direction, which can also be referred to as a circumferential gap, seals the inner space against the drinking circulation edge.
- the annular groove is formed by an outer flank, a front ring / outer ring surface and an inner flank.
- a line or a surface contact can be realized between the annular groove and the drinking circumferential edge.
- the annular groove thus encompasses the drinking circulation edge from both sides.
- the increased pressure of the interior instead of acting on a plane, the entire diameter spanning surface, only on the end ring of the annular groove, which in the container radial direction, compared with the diameter of the lid, small width, applied is, whereby the resulting in the cover / to be absorbed by the cover bending moments due to the small lever arm of the end ring are small and thus prevents leaks causing deformation of the lid.
- this first independently claimable aspect of the invention can be functionally described in such a way that the annular groove of the lid surrounds the recirculating drinking edge / forms a narrow end face in the container radial direction such that it is not or only slightly due to bending moments due to the small lever arm / Is negligibly deformable.
- the sealing effect of the voltage applied to the drinking circumferential edge annular groove is reliably guaranteed even in changing environmental conditions and the action of external forces on the drinking container unit.
- the outer flank, the end ring and the inner flank each cover outer surfaces are by delimiting the lid to the outside, that is to the environment. This allows a material-saving design of the lid, which allows a slim nestling of the lid to the drinking circulation edge.
- the outer edge and the end ring extend transversely, in particular perpendicular / orthogonal, to each other. That is, they are preferably at right angles to each other and are fixed in their position relative to each other substantially rigid. Due to a, as described below, advantageous Ku n ststoff a shaping is a rigidity, as is common in metallic materials, ring between the outer edge and the front only at great expense to achieve. Substantially rigid therefore means in this context that the two surfaces are elastic, but not plastically deformable to each other.
- the outer flank and the end ring are structurally coordinated in particular such / dimensioned to each other that caused by the increased pressure buckling / deformation of the end ring in the container longitudinal direction causes a buckling counteracting contact between the outer edge and the outside of the drinking container.
- the outer edge and the outer side of the container to form a gap in a state in which the annular groove undergoes no bulge, at least partially contactless each other.
- the lid over the inner edge to center on the drinking container and a geometric overdetermination is avoided.
- the screw connection between the outer cap thread and the container inner thread is fluid-permeable and preferably designed pressure shock absorbing, so that the increased pressure in the interior acts to a large extent or even completely on the end ring without a pressure reduction by the screw is realized.
- a pressure release thread unfolds particularly when loosening the screw advantages. Due to the inventive design of the annular groove of the lid, which undergoes any pressure relief through the thread in this embodiment, able to withstand the elevated container interior pressures with complete seal. Thus, a separation of the function is achieved: while the screw fixes the lid in the container longitudinal direction, the annular groove takes over the pressure compensation and the seal of the lid.
- the screw is seen from the sealing contact between the annular groove and the drinking circumferential edge of the container interior facing or is in the effective direction between the sealing contact and the interior, the screw is arranged.
- the screw is connected upstream of the sealing contact and assumes a protective function this.
- the upstream connection has a protective effect for the tightness, since it acts on the annular groove acting surface voltage unified in time and thus dampens fluctuations.
- this version accordingly achieved protection in analogy to a breakwater.
- a clearance is preferably formed as a buffer zone for pressure fluctuations.
- the cover is preferably such that in the container longitudinal direction, the length of the inner edge exceeds the length of the outer edge, so that the aspect ratio between the outer edge and the inner edge preferably between 1:10 and 1: 1, in particular at about 1: 5, particularly preferably at 1: 3, lies.
- the aspect ratio between the outer edge and the inner edge preferably between 1:10 and 1: 1, in particular at about 1: 5, particularly preferably at 1: 3, lies.
- a further advantageous embodiment is characterized in that the inner edge and the outer edge run substantially parallel in the container longitudinal direction and / or the end ring extends in the container radial direction.
- the end ring is configured perpendicular to the direction of action of the container internal pressure to accommodate this completely, without redirection or forwarding, as enabled by the annular groove according to the invention.
- the parallel configuration of the inner and outer surfaces causes them to encase the drinking circulatory edge and thus assume a protective function of the drinking circulatory edge, which the consumer applies to his lip during consumption, and that the sealing surface, ie the surface to which the highest Compressive stress acts, minimize. Furthermore, this sheath allows stabilization of the wide drinking opening.
- the width of the end ring in the container radial direction to the outer diameter of the lid takes a ratio of less than 1: 4, preferably less than 1: 6, a. This increases the effect according to the invention of the low bending moment absorption of the end ring.
- the seal can be further optimized. Because the cylinder portion is separated from the annular groove by a circumferential annular shaft / annular gap and thus has a much smaller diameter than the lid. The bending moments acting on the cylinder portion thus also have a, compared to a completely flat lid, low lever arm and are thus compensated.
- a sealing element is preferably arranged on the side facing the interior of the annular groove, which is prepared to be in sealing contact with the drinking circulatory edge and thus favorably influence the claimed sealing effect.
- the drinking container at its end facing away from the lid to a filling nozzle, which is closed with a cap, preferably in the manner of a crown cap.
- the cover by means of the screw connection can be detached from the drinking circulation edge in such a way that it forms a base of the drinking container unit coupled to the filling connection.
- the screw connection according to the invention is optionally configured by means of one or more, preferably three or four, threads. The more threads there are, the faster it is possible to loosen the lid.
- the advantageous fluid passage of the screw connection by means of the pressure relief thread can be realized, for example, by means of axial slots, that is to say in the longitudinal direction of the container, or also by means of a passage in the circumferential direction due to the thread pitch.
- the drinking container unit according to the invention is preferably made of a plastic, such as polypropylene, PET, PLA, PEF or PEN Tritan or a bioplastic, by means of an injection molding process.
- a plastic such as polypropylene, PET, PLA, PEF or PEN Tritan or a bioplastic
- the drinking container is preferably formed from a cylinder or cup-like liquid receiving / storage section and a filling nozzle, which may also be referred to as a foot section.
- the liquid intake / storage section is preferably again subdivided into a drinking section and a central section.
- a second aspect of the invention which may optionally be claimed independently of the first aspect, relates to a drinking-container unit which is prepared for filling in a filling installation.
- a large number of bottles are usually arranged side by side and guided, so that the interaction of the individual bottles, that is to say joints with one another, has to be taken into consideration.
- This drinking container unit in the second aspect has a base serving as a pedestal. This can be considered in a different operating condition than in the bottling plant as a lid.
- the base / lid is prepared to stand on a filling line of the filling plant. It is bounded radially outwardly by a cylindrical outer edge.
- the drinking-container unit according to the second aspect has a drinking container which is reversibly coupled, preferably screwed, to the base in such a way that it projects out of the container in the container (unit) height direction and forms a contact portion which is prepared. to provide a defined reference point in the bottling plant.
- the drinking container has on its end facing away from the base a Begla hope or defines this.
- About the filling the drinking container unit is prepared in a bottling plant to a liquid, preferably a carbonated beverage, such as beer or sparkling wine, record.
- the outer contour of the drinking container in the region of the contact portion that is, in an area in which the drinking container in the filling is prepared to provide a point of contact, such as for a gripping arm or another drinking container unit to provide Contact section outer diameter represents the maximum outer diameter of the drinking container, in the container height direction on a bulbous shape.
- This bulbous shape is shaped essentially in the manner of an onion shape, or in the manner of a double-sided cut egg shape / a pear shape / a tuber shape.
- that portion of the drinking container has a shape whose outer diameter decreases above and below the maximum outer diameter.
- the contact portion outer diameter corresponds to the outer edge diameter.
- the bulbous shape in the sense of the invention is to be understood as meaning a shape which decreases radially and continuously in diameter above and below the contact section. In the wider area of the drinking container, d. H. Regardless of the bulbous shape in the region of the contact portion, any diameter variations, ie renewed diameter increases or decreases, are possible outside the contact section and form part of the inventive concept.
- the largest outer diameter of the base is equal to the largest outer diameter of the drinking container ("contact portion outer diameter"), whereby the Trink organizationserö along the container height axis has two defined contact points, which simplifies their handling in a bottling plant and thus accelerates the filling.
- this second aspect of the invention can be described such that the drinking container has such a curved shape that its maximum outside diameter, which is achieved only in a small portion due to the continuously curved shape of the drinking container, the outer diameter of the base, the occupy a capping function as described in detail in the priority application claimed herewith.
- the bulbous shape causes a plant-orthogonal abutment line between the contact section outer diameter and the outer flank diameter.
- the outer flank is also preferably prepared to make / produce on the filling line a, preferably linear, contact with an outer flank of another drinking container unit. In this way, a slender guidance of a multiplicity of drinking container units on a filling line is ensured.
- the length of the contact portion that is, the length of the drinking container section with the maximum outer diameter, small compared to the length of the drinking container.
- an upper abutment surface is formed adjacent to the contact portion and a lower abutment surface is formed downwardly adjacent.
- the upper abutment surface and the lower abutment surface are thereby inclined relative to the container height direction by less than 10 °, preferably less than 5 °.
- the contact portion soft transitions to the adjacent areas, which also facilitates the production, such as by injection molding, due to the elimination of sharp transitions.
- the second aspect of the invention is further based on a method in which drinking container units are moved according to that second aspect on a filling line of a filling plant. In this method, a first drinking container unit and a second drinking container unit are each guided in a moving manner on the filling line. In this case, according to the invention, the first and second drinking container units touch each other at least temporarily, at least during the movement in the contact section and / or the outer flank.
- At least one predefined installation line is created which simplifies the handling of the drinking container units in the filling installation.

- FIG. 9 shows the drinking-container unit 1 from FIG. 8 in a side view.
- the drinking container unit 1 in this state represents a wheat beer glass.
- FIG. 10 shows a section of a drinking container unit V in a further, optionally independently claimable embodiment. It has a drinking container 2 'with a drinking container edge 3'.
- a drinking opening 4 ' is closed by a base 5', which is assigned to the cover 5 of the embodiment of Figures 1 to 9 and closes an interior 6 'to the environment.
- the base 5 ' forms in this embodiment, an end ring 1 1', to which a gap 16 'adjacent.
- a contact portion 24 ' is essential. This is characterized by the fact that at this point the outer diameter of the drinking container 2 'is the maximum outer diameter. It is called the contact section outside diameter 25 '.
- the amount of Contact portion outer diameter 25 ' is the outer diameter of the outer edge 10', the outer edge diameter 26 ', identical. This allows, as disclosed in the introduction, an efficient management of the drinking container unit 1 'in a filling plant.
- the socket 5 'facing portion / region of the drinking container 2' has a bulbous curved shape, which has reached its maximum curvature or its maximum outer diameter in the contact region 24 '. That portion of the drinking container 2 'can be regarded as a double-cut egg, which is inserted into the base 5'. According to the invention, the outer flank diameter 26 'and the contact portion outer diameter 25' are precisely matched.
- upper abutment surface 27' The region above the contact section 24 ', that is to say on the side of the contact section 24' facing away from the base 5 ', is referred to as upper abutment surface 27'. This has in contrast to the contact portion 24 'on a slope / inclination. It therefore ensures that after the contact portion 24 'of the container diameter decreases upward again.
- the region below the contact section 24 ' that is to say on the side of the contact section 24' facing the base 5 ', is referred to as the lower adjoining surface 28'.
- This in contrast to the contact portion 24 'on a slope / inclination, which is opposite to the slope / inclination of the upper abutment surface 27'.
- the upper and lower abutment surfaces 27', 28 ' are symmetrical.
- the lower abutment surface 28 ' also ensures that decreases after the contact portion 24', the container diameter down again.
- FIGS. 12 and 13 illustrate the drinking container 2 'in the second aspect of the invention in perspective (FIG. 12) and in a longitudinal section (FIG. 13).
- the curvature / momentum which forms the contact section 24' is thereby more obvious in the region of the drinking opening 4 'as on the opposite side, where a filling opening 23' is formed, arranged.
- the upper abutment surface 27 'and the lower abutment surface 28' is again shown as adjacent to the contact portion 24 'surfaces.
- the onion shape of the drinking container 2 ' which may also be referred to as a pear shape, is more bulbous or slimmer.
- the degree of bulging determined by the inclination of the surfaces 27 ', 28' is to be determined as a function of the contact section outer diameter 25 'and the outer edge diameter 26'.
