本実施形態の照明装置1は、図2のように、有機ELモジュール2と、取付ユニット3を備えており、取付ユニット3が壁面300に取り付けられた状態で有機ELモジュール2を相対的にスライド移動させることで、有機ELモジュール2と取付ユニット3を互いに着脱可能となっている。
発光領域部20は、点灯時に発光する発光領域であり、所望の発光色で発光可能となっている。額縁領域部21は、発光領域部20以外の領域であって、点灯時に非発光の非発光領域である。額縁領域部21は、発光領域部20の周囲を環状に連続している。
パネル側給電部22は、パネル本体10の内部の有機EL素子と電気的に接続される部位であり、パネル本体10の端部近傍から舌状に延びている。すなわち、パネル側給電部22は、パネル本体10の縁近傍から片持ち状に支持されており、その先端部にパネル側コネクター部23を備えている。
接続用コネクター部31,32は、ケーブル部材7のコネクター部260と接続可能なコネクターであり、ケーブル部材7のコネクター部260(図3参照)と接続することで外部から複数種類の制御信号を受信可能であるとともに外部から電力を受電可能となっている。具体的には、接続用コネクター部31,32は、ともに同一形状をしたメスコネクターであり、いずれにもケーブル部材7のコネクター部260と接続可能となっている。
別の観点からみると、回路基板11は、図8のように、接続用コネクター部31,32からパネル用コネクター部33に繋がる接続回路と、パネル用コネクター部33に繋がらずに接続用コネクター部31,32を直接接続する迂回回路を備えており、これらの回路が互いに独立している。
回路基板11は、図6のように、支持基板30の片面上に接続用コネクター部31,32、パネル用コネクター部33、定電流化素子35、及び制御切替部36がそれぞれ実装されている。
接続用コネクター部31,32は、支持基板30の端部又はその近傍であって一辺に沿って並設されている。パネル用コネクター部33は、支持基板30の端部又はその近傍であって接続用コネクター部31,32とは反対側に配されている。コネクター部31,32,33は、支持基板30を平面視したときに、それぞれの開口がいずれも外側を向いており、接続用コネクター部31,32の開口と、パネル用コネクター部33の開口は、互いに離反する方向を向いている。
パネル用コネクター部33は、図8のように定電流化素子35及び制御切替部36を経由して、接続用コネクター部31,32と電気的に接続されている。また、接続用コネクター部31,32は、パネル用コネクター部33を経由せずに電気的に接続されている。
発光側覆部50は、図4のように、パネル本体10の正面(発光面16側)の一部を覆う部位であり、本実施形態ではパネル本体10の額縁領域部21を覆う部位である。発光側覆部50は、発光領域部20の縁に沿って環状に延びており、一つの開口部43を形成している。すなわち、発光領域部20から照射される光は、開口部43を通過させて外側に取り出すことが可能となっている。
保護部材12は、背面視したときに、一方の横辺に沿って保護側固定片52a,52bが間隔を空けて並設されており、他方の横辺に沿って保護側固定片52f,52eが間隔を空けて並設されている。保護側固定片52a,52bと保護側固定片52f,52eは、互いに近接する方向に延びている。同様に、保護部材12は、一方の縦辺に沿って保護側固定片52c,52dが間隔を空けて並設されており、他方の縦辺に沿って保護側固定片52h,52gが間隔を空けて並設されている。保護側固定片52c,52dと保護側固定片52h,52gは、互いに近接する方向に延びている。
固定部材15は、取付ユニット3に固定可能であり、図10のように、背面側覆部70と、端面側覆部71を備えている。
固定凹部75a~75hは、保護部材12の保護側固定片52a~52h(図5参照)と係合可能であって、背面視したときに各辺76~79から中央に向かって延びた溝状の凹部である。固定凹部75a~75hは、保護側固定片52a~52hと対応する位置に設けられている。すなわち、固定凹部75a,75bは、一方の横辺76に沿って間隔を空けて並設されており、固定凹部75f,75eは、他方の横辺77に沿って間隔を空けて並設されている。同様に、固定凹部75c,75dは、一方の縦辺78に沿って間隔を空けて並設されており、固定凹部75h,75gは、他方の縦辺79に沿って間隔を空けて並設されている。
第1隆起部81は、本体部72に対して隆起する部位であり、背面視したときに略コ字状となっている。第1隆起部81は、図10のように、第1背面側壁部85と、第1接続壁部86を備えている。
第1背面側壁部85は、本体部72に対して背面側に位置する壁部であり、実質的に凹凸のない平面状をしている。
ここでいう「実質的に凹凸がない平面」とは、凹凸によって他の部材と係合しない程度に凹凸がない面をいい、凹凸によって他の部材と係合しない微細な凹凸がある面も含む。
第1接続壁部86は、本体部72から直立し、本体部72と第1背面側壁部85の外周縁を接続する壁部である。
第2背面側壁部87は、第1背面側壁部85に対して背面側に位置する壁部であり、実質的に凹凸のない平面状をしている。第2背面側壁部87は、回路基板11の制御切替部36を挿入可能な切替穴89を備えている。切替穴89は、第2背面側壁部87を部材厚方向に貫通した切替用貫通孔であり、有機ELパネル5を組み立てたときに、制御切替部36を露出させる操作穴である。
第2接続壁部88は、第1背面側壁部85に対して直立し、第1背面側壁部85と第2背面側壁部87の外周縁を接続する壁部である。
スライド溝90,91は、厚み方向に深さをもち、縦方向Yに直線状に延びた有底溝であり、組み立て時にホルダー側係合部182(図16参照)の移動を規制するガイド溝である。スライド溝90,91は、第1隆起部81と第2隆起部82に跨って形成されており、第1隆起部81と第2隆起部82のそれぞれの一部を切り欠いている。
固定側係止片92,93は、組み立てたときに取付ユニット3のホルダー側係止片183,184と係合して取付ユニット3に対する有機ELモジュール2の縦方向Yの移動を規制する部位である。固定側係止片92,93は、スライド溝90,91の底部から背面側に向かって突出した凸条である。固定側係止片92,93は、スライド溝90,91の延び方向に対して直交する方向に延びている。
隆起側係合部95は、台座部73の隆起方向に対して直交する方向に突出した係合片である。隆起側係合部95は、図11のように、側面視略「L」字状であって、互いに交差する第1係合部96と第2係合部97を備えており、第1係合部96と本体部72との間に挿入空間98が形成されている。別の観点からみると、隆起側係合部95は、第2接続壁部88に対して直立してスライド溝90,91側に張り出した張出片であり、スライド溝90,91の厚み方向の投影面上に位置している。
隆起側係合部95c,95dは、隆起側係合部95a,95bと同様であり、第2背面側壁部87の他方の縦辺101に沿って設けられており、縦方向Yに間隔を空けて配されている。
コネクター用切り欠き部102は、回路基板11の接続用コネクター部31,32にケーブル部材7のコネクター部260又はコネクター部261を接続するための切り欠きであり、第1隆起部81と第2隆起部82に跨った切り欠きである。すなわち、コネクター用切り欠き部102には、コネクター部260又はコネクター部261を通過可能な開口が形成されている。
端面側覆部71は、背面側覆部70の各辺に沿って立ち上がった壁部であり、パネル本体10の端面を覆う部位である。
有機ELパネル5は、図6,図12から読み取れるように、パネル本体10の背面側に回路基板11が配されており、パネル側コネクター部23がパネル用コネクター部33に挿入されて接続されている。パネル本体10と回路基板11は、保護部材12と固定部材15に挟まれており、保護部材12の保護側固定片52は、固定部材15の固定凹部75と係合している。すなわち、回路基板11の背面は、固定部材15によって覆われており、支持基板30上のコネクター部31~33や定電流化素子35、制御切替部36等は格納凹部80に格納されている。
回路基板11の制御切替部36の操作部分は、固定部材15の切替穴89から露出しており、所定の治具を用いて固定部材15の背面側から制御切替部36の切り替え操作が可能となっている。

フレーム部120は、図14のように、正面視したときに中央に開口122を有した額縁状の部材であり、装飾部121を固定する部材である。フレーム部120は、図13,図14から読み取れるように、複数の係止開口部125(125a~125h)と、複数の挿通孔126(126a~126d)を備えている。
正面形成部140は、有機ELモジュール2の正面を形成する四角形状の部位であり、背面に係止爪142(142a~142h)が設けられている。
係止爪142は、正面形成部140の背面から直立した爪であり、装飾部121をフレーム部120に対して取り付け可能となっている。係止爪142a~142cは、フレーム部120の係止開口部125a~125cに対応して設けられており、正面形成部140の縦辺143に沿って配されている。係止爪142d~142fは、フレーム部120の係止開口部125d~125fに対応して設けられており、正面形成部140の縦辺144に沿って配されている。残りの係止爪142g,142hは、フレーム部120の係止開口部125g,125hに対応して設けられており、正面形成部140の横辺145,146に沿って配されている。
側面形成部141は、有機ELモジュール2の側面を形成する部位であり、正面形成部140から背面側に向けて立ち上がっている。
ケーブル用接続穴181は、ケーブル部材7を挿通可能な開口であり、ホルダー部材170の部材厚方向に貫通した貫通孔である。
立壁部191は、接続壁部190の延伸方向の端部から正面側に向かって折り曲げられ、接続壁部190に対して立ち上がった壁部である。
係止壁部192は、立壁部191の立ち上がり方向の端部から横方向Xに折り曲げられ、接続壁部190と平行をなす壁部である。係止壁部192は、ホルダー本体部180との間で厚み方向Z(前後方向)に段差をもって接続している。
ホルダー部材170は、図17のように、横方向Xにおいて、ケーブル用接続穴181が中央に設けられており、ホルダー側係合部182a,182b及びホルダー側係合部182c,182dがその外側に設けられている。ケーブル用接続穴181は、ホルダー側係合部182b,182dの間に位置している。ホルダー側係合部182a,182bとホルダー側係合部182c,182dは、有機ELパネル5のスライド方向に対して直交方向(横方向X)であって、互いに近接する方向(内側方向)に延びている。具体的には、ホルダー側係合部182a,182bは、背面視右側に向かって延びており、ホルダー側係合部182c,182dは、背面視左側に向かって延びている。
ボックス側固定穴200は、図18のように、ホルダー部材170をネジ等の締結要素173によって取り付けるための取付穴であり、締結要素173と締結可能な締結穴である。すなわち、ボックス側固定穴200は、内側面がねじ切りされており、締結要素173と係合可能となっている。ボックス側固定穴200a,200bは、正面視したときに、ボックス部材171の一方の横辺に沿って並設されており、ボックス側固定穴200c,200dは、ボックス部材171の他方の横辺に沿って並設されている。
続いて、使用済み有機ELパネル5のケーブル部材7のコネクター部260を接続された接続用コネクター部31,32から取り外し、コネクター部260を新品の有機ELパネル5の任意の接続用コネクター部31,32に接続する。
そして、新品の有機ELパネル5を発光面16の広がり方向にスライド移動させて、ホルダー部材170に対して取り付け、装飾部121を再度フレーム部120に取り付ける。すなわち、新品の有機ELパネル5を縦方向下側にスライド移動させて、ホルダー部材170に対して取り付け、装飾部121を再度フレーム部120に取り付ける。
貫通孔270は、図24のように、開口形状が略四角形状であって部材厚方向に貫通した貫通孔であり、有機ELパネル5の台座部73を挿着可能な挿通孔である。
ホルダー側係合部255は、第1実施形態のホルダー側係合部182と同様、接続壁部190と、立壁部191と、係止壁部192から構成されており、接続壁部190と係止壁部192が立壁部191によって段差をもって接続されている。
ホルダー側凸部271,272は、高さ方向において所定の間隔を空けて並設されており、その側壁によってホルダー側凹部273を形成している。ホルダー側凹部273は、固定側係止片92,93と係合可能な係合凹部である。
取付孔258は、ネジ等の締結要素265を挿通可能な挿通孔である。
ホルダー部材252は、図23のように、横方向Xにおいて、貫通孔270が中央に形成されており、貫通孔270の外側に取付孔258a,258b及び取付孔258c,258dがそれぞれ配されている。ホルダー側係合部255及びホルダー側係止片256,257は、それぞれ貫通孔270の縁から中央側に向かって延伸している。具体的には、ホルダー側係合部255a,255bとホルダー側係合部255c,255dは、横方向Xであって、互いに近接する方向(内側方向)に延びている。同様に、ホルダー側係止片256とホルダー側係止片257は、横方向Xであって、互いに近接する方向(内側方向)に延びている。
ホルダー部材281は、図27,図28のように、第2実施形態のホルダー部材252に比べてホルダー本体部282の幅が長く、ホルダー本体部282が有機ELモジュール251から張り出している。そして、ホルダー本体部282の有機ELモジュール251からの張出部分285,286に取付孔258a~258dが設けられている。
本実施形態の照明装置400は、ホルダー部材403が表裏の両面に対してそれぞれ有機ELパネル5を取り付けることが可能であり、設置する壁面600の種類によって有機ELパネル5の取り付ける面を選択できることを特徴の一つとしている。
ホルダー部材403は、図30,図31から読み取れるように、主要構成部材として、ホルダー本体部520と、第1ホルダー側係合部521(521a~521d)(取付側係合部)と、第2ホルダー側係合部522(522a~522d)(取付側係合部)と、第1ホルダー側係止片525(525a,525b)(取付側係止片)と、第2ホルダー側係止片526(526a,526b)(取付側係止片)を備えている。
本体部530は、貫通孔533を有する板状体であって正面視四角形状となっている。すなわち、本体部530は、縦方向Yに対向する2つの横辺540,541(対向する2辺)と、横方向Xに対向する2つの縦辺542,543を有している。本体部530は、一方の主面たる正面及び他方の主面たる背面がともに平面となっており、実質的に凹凸がなく平滑となっている。貫通孔533は、開口形状が四角形状であって部材厚方向に貫通した貫通孔であり、図31,図37から読み取れるように、有機ELパネル5の台座部73を挿着可能な挿通孔である。
立壁部535は、ホルダー本体部520の縦辺542に属する端部から折れ曲がって直立し、ホルダー本体部520と固定壁部536を段状に接続する接続壁である。
固定壁部536は、立壁部535の端部から折れ曲がって直立し、ホルダー本体部520と厚み方向に平行となる板状の壁部である。固定壁部536は、ホルダー部材403を壁面600a,600bに取り付けるための取付穴527a,527bを備えている。取付穴527a,527bは、部材厚方向に貫通した貫通孔であって、図33,図38から読み取れるようにネジ等の締結要素603を挿通可能な挿通孔である。
立壁部545は、ホルダー本体部520の縦辺543に属する端部から折れ曲がって直立し、ホルダー本体部520と固定壁部546を段状に接続する接続壁である。
固定壁部546は、立壁部545の端部から折れ曲がって直立し、ホルダー本体部520と厚み方向に平行となる板状の壁部である。固定壁部546は、ホルダー部材403を壁面600a,600bに取り付けるための取付穴528a,528bを備えている。取付穴528a,528bは、取付穴527a,527bと同様、部材厚方向に貫通した貫通孔であって、図33,図38のようにネジ等の締結要素603を挿通可能な挿通孔である。
接続壁部560は、ホルダー本体部520の貫通孔533の開口縁から延伸した壁部であり、立壁部561を介して係止壁部562と段状に連続している。
立壁部561は、接続壁部560の延伸方向(厚み方向)の端部から正面側(一方の主面側)に向かって折り曲げられ、接続壁部560に対して立ち上がった壁部である。
係止壁部562は、立壁部561の立ち上がり方向の端部から横方向Xに折り曲げられ、接続壁部560と平行をなす壁部である。係止壁部562は、ホルダー本体部520との間で厚み方向Z(前後方向)に段差をもって接続している。
接続壁部570は、ホルダー本体部520の貫通孔533の開口縁から延伸した壁部であり、立壁部571を介して係止壁部572と段状に連続している。
立壁部571は、接続壁部570の延伸方向(厚み方向)の端部から背面側(他方の主面側)に向かって折り曲げられ、接続壁部570に対して立ち上がった壁部である。
係止壁部572は、立壁部571の立ち上がり方向の端部から横方向Xに折り曲げられ、接続壁部570と平行をなす壁部である。係止壁部572は、ホルダー本体部520との間で厚み方向Z(前後方向)に段差をもって接続している。
ホルダー側凸部591,592は、背面側(他方の主面側)に向かって突出した凸部であり、高さ方向において所定の間隔を空けて並設されており、その側壁によってホルダー側凹部593を形成している。ホルダー側凹部593は、固定側係止片92,93と係合可能な係合凹部である。
ホルダー部材403は、図32のように、横方向Xにおいて、貫通孔533がホルダー本体部520の中央に形成されており、貫通孔533の外側に取付穴527a,527b及び取付穴528a,528bがそれぞれ配されている。
ホルダー側係合部521,522及びホルダー側係止片525,526は、横方向Xにおいて、それぞれ貫通孔533の開口縁の縁から中央側に向かって延伸している。具体的には、第1ホルダー側係合部521a,521bと第1ホルダー側係合部521c,521dは、横方向Xにおいて、正面側で互いに近接する方向(内側方向)に延びており、第2ホルダー側係合部522a,522bと第2ホルダー側係合部522c,522dは、背面側で互いに近接する方向(内側方向)に延びている。同様に、第1ホルダー側係止片525a,525bは、横方向Xにおいて、正面側で互いに近接する方向(内側方向)に延びており、第2ホルダー側係止片526a,526bは、背面側で互いに近接する方向(内側方向)に延びている。
具体的には、ホルダー部材403は、貫通孔533の横方向Xの片側の開口縁において、縦方向Yの一方側(上方側)から他方側(下方側)に向けて第1ホルダー側係合部521a、第2ホルダー側係合部522a、第1ホルダー側係止片525a、第2ホルダー側係止片526a、第1ホルダー側係合部521b、第2ホルダー側係合部522bの順に配されている。ホルダー部材403は、同様に貫通孔533の横方向Xの反対側の開口縁において、縦方向Yの一方側(上方側)から他方側(下方側)に向けて第1ホルダー側係合部521c、第2ホルダー側係合部522c、第1ホルダー側係止片525b、第2ホルダー側係止片526b、第1ホルダー側係合部521d、第2ホルダー側係合部522dの順に配されている。
有機ELパネル5の発光面16側の面は、ホルダー部材403の固定壁部536,546の正面(壁面600aから離れる側の面)と面一となっており、固定壁部536,546の正面と同一の仮想平面を形成している。
ホルダー部材403は、図31から読み取れるように、正面視したときに本体部530の横辺540,541が有機ELパネル5と重なって隠れている。すなわち、有機ELパネル5の縦方向の全長は、ホルダー部材403の縦方向の全長よりも長く、有機ELパネル5は、縦方向の両端部がホルダー部材403の本体部530から張り出している。一方、固定部531,532の固定壁部536,546の一部は、有機ELパネル5から露出しており、締結要素603が外部に露出している。すなわち、照明装置400は、ホルダー部材403に有機ELパネル5を取り付けたまま、壁面600aから取り外すことが可能となっている。
ホルダー部材403は、図36のように、正面視したときに本体部530の横辺540,541が有機ELパネル5と重なって隠れている。言い換えると、有機ELパネル5は、縦方向の両端部がホルダー部材403の本体部530から張り出している。
固定部531,532の固定壁部536,546の一部又は全部は、有機ELパネル5から露出しており、締結要素603が外部に露出している。すなわち、照明装置400は、ホルダー部材403に有機ELパネル5を取り付けたまま、壁面600bから取り外すことが可能となっている。

前記隆起部は、前記有機ELパネルの背面側に配され、前記本体部に対して前記回路基板を避けるように隆起して前記回路基板の一部又は全部を保護しており、

前記隆起部を前記貫通孔に挿通し、前記2つの取付側係合部が前記2つの隆起側係合部と係合していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記隆起部は、隆起方向に対して交差する方向に突出した隆起側係合部を少なくとも2つ備え、
前記2つの隆起側係合部は、前記発光面に対して平行となっていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記固定部材は、電気絶縁性を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載の照明装置。
- 前記有機ELパネルは、有機EL素子を有し、
前記回路基板は、前記有機EL素子に電気的に接続されるコネクター部を有し、
前記隆起部は、コネクター用切り欠き部又はコネクター用貫通孔を有し、
前記コネクター部は、前記コネクター用切り欠き部又はコネクター用貫通孔の開口を介して前記隆起部から露出していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至10のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記取付側本体部は、前記有機ELパネルのスライド移動の方向に対向する2辺を有し、
前記取付部材の前記取付側係合部に前記有機ELパネルの前記隆起側係合部を係合させた状態で前記有機ELパネルを正面視すると、前記取付側本体部の前記対向する2辺が前記有機ELパネルと重なっていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至11のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - 前記取付部材は、前記取付側本体部と、立壁部と、固定壁部を有し、
前記取付側本体部は、板状であり、
前記固定壁部は、前記取付側本体部の一方の主面側に設けられ、前記立壁部を介して前記取付側本体部と段差をもって連続しており、
前記固定壁部は、前記有機ELパネルを前記取付側本体部の一方の主面側に固定した状態において、前記有機ELパネルの発光面側の面と同一の仮想平面を形成していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至12のいずれかに記載の照明装置。 - パネル本体と固定部材を有した有機ELパネルを壁面に対して着脱可能に取り付ける取付部材であって、
前記パネル本体は、正面側に発光面を有し、背面側に回路基板を有するものであり、
前記固定部材は、板状であって、本体部と、隆起部を有し、
前記隆起部は、前記有機ELパネルの背面側に配され、前記本体部に対して前記回路基板を避けるように隆起しており、
前記隆起部は、隆起方向に対して交差する方向に突出した隆起側係合部を有するものであり、
前記取付部材は、板状の取付側本体部と、少なくとも2つの取付側係合部を有し、
前記2つの取付側係合部の一方の取付側係合部は、前記取付側本体部から延びて一方の主面側で段差を形成しており、他方の取付側係合部は、前記取付側本体部から延びて他方の主面側で段差を形成しており、
前記有機ELパネルの前記隆起側係合部を前記一方の取付側係合部に係合させることで、前記有機ELパネルを前記取付側本体部の一方の主面側に固定可能であり、前記有機ELパネルの前記隆起側係合部を前記他方の取付側係合部に係合させることで、前記有機ELパネルを前記取付側本体部の他方の主面側に固定可能であることを特徴とする取付部材。
