Les rideaux de douche dotés de moyens d'éclairage à DEL, connus, offrent des fonctions auxiliaires variant énormément selon les moyens d'éclairage, qui ne rencontrent pratiquement pas d'adhésion sur le marché en raison de la grande variabilité de leurs durées d'utilisation. Les réglages sont fréquemment complexes et trop coûteux. L'invention vise à installer des moyens d'éclairage à DEL présentant pour le marché une réelle valeur ajoutée attractive en termes de conception dans un rideau de douche. La solution proposée réside dans un rideau de douche ayant sa propre source d'alimentation en courant, son propre circuit de régulation et un design multicolore. La perceptibilité optique du design est renforcée et améliorée par l'agencement des moyens d'éclairage à DEL sur des rayures et des éléments au contraste marqué. L'amélioration de la fonction décorative, une utilisation supplémentaire en tant qu'éclairage de secours à commutation automatique et régulée et l'ajustabilité des couleurs primaires pour le design noir et blanc constituent des aspects économiques efficaces qui augmentent de manière significative l'acceptation sur le marché, aussi bien individuellement qu'en combinaison.
