また、特許文献2は、メカニカルフロス法による軟質ポリウレタンフォームの製法の欠点、例えば高密度となり高硬度となりすぎる点、柔軟性に欠ける点などを改良した、メカニカルフロス法による軟質ポリウレタンフォームの製造方法を開示する。
しかしながら、特許文献1又は特許文献2に開示されるポリウレタンフォームは、所望の特性、特に緩衝材、化粧用パフなどに用いる際の粘弾特性を有していない。したがって、所望の粘弾特性、特に低減した圧縮残留ひずみを有し、且つ向上した耐久性、向上した柔軟性を有するポリウレタンフォームのニーズが高まっている。

を有することにより、ポリウレタンフォームを得る、ポリウレタンフォームの製造方法。
また、本発明により、上記効果に加えて、又は上記効果の他に、肌触り・肌当たりがよく、コシの強いポリウレタンフォーム、該ポリウレタンフォーム用の組成物、及び該ポリウレタンフォームの製造方法を提供することができる。
本願は、ポリロタキサンを含有するポリウレタンフォーム用組成物、該組成物由来のポリウレタンフォーム及びポリウレタンフォームの製造方法を開示する。以下、順に説明する。
<ポリウレタンフォーム用組成物>
本願は、(A)OH基を3以上有するポリオール;
(B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物;及び
(C)環状分子の開口部が直鎖状分子によって串刺し状に包接されてなる擬ポリロタキサンの両端に前記環状分子が脱離しないように封鎖基を配置してなるポリロタキサン;
を含有するポリウレタンフォーム用組成物、を開示する。
以下、各成分(A)~(C)について説明する。
本願において、ポリオールとは、OH基を2以上有し且つ繰返単位を2以上有する物質をいう。
ポリオールとして、ポリカーボネートポリオール、ポリエーテルポリオール、ポリエステルポリオール、ポリオレフィンポリオール、複数の種類のポリオールのブロック共重合体又はグラフト体(例えば、ポリエーテルポリオールにポリエステルをブロック重合したポリオール)などを挙げることができるが、これらに限定されない。
ポリオレフィンポリオールの例として、ポリブタジエンポリオール、ポリイソプレンポリオール、及びそれらの共重合体などが挙げられる。
OH基を3以上有するポリオールは、1種のみであってもよく、複数種を併用してもよい。
OH基を3以上有するポリオールは、OH基を3以上有するポリカーボネートポリオール、OH基を3以上有するポリエーテルポリオールであるのがよい。
ポリオール混合物は、(A)OH基を3以上有するポリオール;を少なくとも1種有し、その他のポリオールを有するのがよい。なお、その他のポリオールは、上述したものから選択することができる。
本発明のポリウレタンフォーム用組成物において、ポリオール混合物を用いる場合、(A)OH基を3以上有するポリオールは、ポリオール混合物100重量部中、20~90重量部、好ましくは30~85重量部、より好ましくは40~80重量部であるのがよい。
なお、平均分子量は、数平均分子量又は重量平均分子量であることを本明細書に特記しない限り、(m×1000×56/OHV)で定められ値である。ここで、OHV(mgKOH/g)(以降、OHVの単位は、特記しない限り、mgKOH/gである)は、JIS K 0070に準じて測定される水酸基価であり、mはポリオール1分子当たりのOH基の数を表す。
本発明のポリウレタンフォーム用組成物は、(B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物;を有する。
該化合物として、公知の脂肪族、脂環族及び芳香族のイソシアネートを用いても、別途、新規に合成したものを用いてもよい。
イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物のイソシアネート基のモル数とポリウレタンフォーム用組成物中の活性水素のモル数との比率、即ち((B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物のイソシアネート基のモル数)/(ポリウレタンフォーム用組成物中の活性水素のモル数)が、0.50~1.80、好ましくは0.70~1.60、より好ましくは0.80~1.20となるように、イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物の量、ポリウレタンフォーム用組成物の量及び/又はポリオール混合物の量を調整するのがよい。
なお、比率((B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物のイソシアネート基のモル数)/(ポリウレタンフォーム用組成物中の活性水素のモル数)は、「NCOインデックス」として表される場合もある。
具体的には、ポリオールに存在するOH基の水素、ポリロタキサンに存在するOH基の水素などを挙げることができる。また、OH基由来の水素に限らず、ポリオール混合物のポリオール及びポリロタキサンに存在する「OH基」以外の基に存在するイソシアネート基と反応し得る水素、より具体的にはチオール基、一級アミノ基、二級アミノ基、カルボン酸基などの水素も活性水素として作用するため、それらの合計モル数が「ポリウレタンフォーム用組成物中の活性水素のモル数」となる。
活性水素がOH基のみに由来する場合、その活性水素の量は、水酸基価OHVで表すことができる。なお、活性水素がOH基のみに由来する場合、ポリウレタンフォーム用組成物中に含まれる、イソシアネート基と反応し得る水素を有する各成分の量と各成分のOHV値とから、「ポリウレタンフォーム用組成物中の活性水素のモル数」を得ることができる。
本発明のポリウレタンフォーム用組成物は、(C)ポリロタキサン;を有する。
(C)ポリロタキサンは、環状分子の開口部が直鎖状分子によって串刺し状に包接されてなる擬ポリロタキサンの両端に前記環状分子が脱離しないように封鎖基を配置してなる。
(C)ポリロタキサンは、例えばWO2005/080469、WO2010/024431などに記載された方法により調製することができる。
(C)ポリロタキサンは、ポリオール混合物100重量部に対して、1.0~15.0重量部、好ましくは3.0~12.0重量部、より好ましくは4.0~11.0重量部、最も好ましくは5.0~10.0重量部であるのがよい。
以下、(C)ポリロタキサンの構成要素である、環状分子、直鎖状分子、封鎖基について、説明する。
(C)ポリロタキサンの環状分子は、環状であり、開口部を有し、直鎖状分子によって串刺し状に包接されるものであれば、特に限定されない。
環状分子は、1)疎水性修飾基;及び2)-OH、-NH2及び-SHからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の官能基;を有するのがよい。
この官能基は、環状分子に直接結合していても、「1)疎水性修飾基」を介して結合していてもよい。
1)疎水性修飾基がカプロラクトン由来の疎水性修飾基であり、且つ2)官能基が-OHであるのがよい。
上記B1)疎水性修飾基;及び/又はB2)官能基は、α-シクロデキストリンなどの-OH基の一部を、直接又は他の連結基を介して、置換することにより、有するのがよい。
なお、他の連結基として、アルキレン基、ヒドロキシアルキレン基などを挙げることができるがこれらに限定されない。
(C)ポリロタキサンの直鎖状分子は、用いる環状分子の開口部に串刺し状に包接され得るものであれば、特に限定されない。
例えば、直鎖状分子として、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリビニルピロリドン、ポリ(メタ)アクリル酸、セルロース系樹脂(カルボキシメチルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース等)、ポリアクリルアミド、ポリエチレンオキサイド、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリプロピレングリコール、ポリビニルアセタール系樹脂、ポリビニルメチルエーテル、ポリアミン、ポリエチレンイミン、カゼイン、ゼラチン、でんぷん等及び/またはこれらの共重合体、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、およびその他オレフィン系単量体との共重合樹脂などのポリオレフィン系樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂、ポリ塩化ビニル樹脂、ポリスチレンやアクリロニトリル-スチレン共重合樹脂等のポリスチレン系樹脂、ポリメチルメタクリレートや(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体、アクリロニトリル-メチルアクリレート共重合樹脂などのアクリル系樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、ポリウレタン樹脂、塩化ビニル-酢酸ビニル共重合樹脂、ポリビニルブチラール樹脂等;及びこれらの誘導体又は変性体、ポリイソブチレン、ポリテトラヒドロフラン、ポリアニリン、アクリロニトリル-ブタジエン-スチレン共重合体(ABS樹脂)、ナイロンなどのポリアミド類、ポリイミド類、ポリイソプレン、ポリブタジエンなどのポリジエン類、ポリジメチルシロキサンなどのポリシロキサン類、ポリスルホン類、ポリイミン類、ポリ無水酢酸類、ポリ尿素類、ポリスルフィド類、ポリフォスファゼン類、ポリケトン類、ポリフェニレン類、ポリハロオレフィン類、並びにこれらの誘導体からなる群から選ばれるのがよい。例えばポリエチレングリコール、ポリイソプレン、ポリイソブチレン、ポリブタジエン、ポリプロピレングリコール、ポリテトラヒドロフラン、ポリジメチルシロキサン、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリビニルアルコール及びポリビニルメチルエーテルからなる群から選ばれるのがよい。特にポリエチレングリコールであるのがよい。
ポリロタキサンにおいて、(環状分子、直鎖状分子)の組合せが、(α-シクロデキストリン由来、ポリエチレングリコール由来)であるのがよい。
(C)ポリロタキサンの封鎖基は、擬ポリロタキサンの両端に配置され、用いる環状分子が脱離しないように作用する基であれば、特に限定されない。
例えば、封鎖基として、ジニトロフェニル基類、シクロデキストリン類、アダマンタン基類、トリチル基類、フルオレセイン類、シルセスキオキサン類、ピレン類、置換ベンゼン類(置換基として、アルキル、アルキルオキシ、ヒドロキシ、ハロゲン、シアノ、スルホニル、カルボキシル、アミノ、フェニルなどを挙げることができるがこれらに限定されない。置換基は1つ又は複数存在してもよい。)、置換されていてもよい多核芳香族類(置換基として、上記と同じものを挙げることができるがこれらに限定されない。置換基は1つ又は複数存在してもよい。)、及びステロイド類からなる群から選ばれるのがよい。なお、ジニトロフェニル基類、シクロデキストリン類、アダマンタン基類、トリチル基類、フルオレセイン類、シルセスキオキサン類、及びピレン類からなる群から選ばれるのが好ましく、より好ましくはアダマンタン基類又はシクロデキストリン類であるのがよい。
本発明のポリウレタンフォーム用組成物は、上述のとおり、(A)OH基を3以上有するポリオール;(B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物;及び(C)ポリロタキサン;を含有するが、必要により、該(A)~(C)以外に「その他の成分」を含有してもよい。
その他の成分として、発泡剤、整泡剤、触媒、酸化防止剤、界面活性剤、難燃剤、紫外線吸収剤、着色剤、各種充填剤などを挙げることができるがこれらに限定されない。
また、本願のポリウレタンフォーム用組成物は、用途に依存して、溶媒を有してもよい。製造工程後、溶媒を除去するのが好ましい。
溶媒として、アセトン、メチルエチルケトン、シクロヘキサノン、酢酸エチル、酢酸ブチルなどを挙げることができるが、これらに限定されない。
上記「その他の成分」のうち、特に発泡剤及び整泡剤は、本発明のポリウレタンフォーム用組成物に含めて、ウレタンを発泡させてフォームを形成するのがよい。
ここで、発泡剤は、ポリウレタンフォームの空孔となる気体を発生させる作用を有するものである。発泡剤として一般的には水が使用される。
なお、水以外に発泡剤として、ギ酸、二酸化炭素、炭化水素化合物、ハロゲン化アルカン化合物又はその混合物を挙げることができるがこれらに限定されない。
発泡剤として水を用いる場合、水の量は、ポリオール化合物100重量部に対し0.5~10、好ましくは1~5重量部で使用するのがよい。
発泡剤として炭化水素化合物、ハロゲン化アルカン化合物を用いる場合、それらの量は、ポリオール化合物100重量部に対し5~75重量部で使用するのがよい。特に水、二酸化炭素、シクロペンタンは地球環境に対する負荷が低く好ましい。
整泡剤として、ポリウレタンフォーム製造に用いられるポリエーテルポリシロキサンなどの整泡剤が必要に応じて適宜用いることができる。
例えば、モメンティブ製のL-5340、L-5420、L-5421、L-6900、L-580、東レ・ダウコーニング製のSZ-1142、SZ-1642、SZ-1605、SZ-1649、SZ-1919、SH-190、SH-192、SH-193、SF-2945F、SF-2940F、SF-2936F、SF-2938F、SRX-294A、信越化学工業製のF-305、F-341、F-343、F-374、F-345、F-348、エボニック製のB-2470F、B-2370F、B-8404、B-8407、B-8465、B-8444、B-8467、B-8433、B-8466、B-8870、B-8450、B-8516などのシリコーン系界面活性剤が挙げることができるが、これらに限定されない。添加量は、ポリオール混合物に対して、0.05~5.0質量%であるのがよい。
本願は、ポリウレタンフォーム、特に、上述のポリウレタンフォーム用組成物から形成されるポリウレタンフォームを開示する。
本発明のポリウレタンフォームは、上述のポリウレタンフォーム用組成物を原料として、公知の方法又は新規な方法を用いて、発泡させ、硬化することにより作製することができる。
本発明のポリウレタンフォームは、そのみかけ密度が50~180kg/m3、好ましくは70~160kg/m3、より好ましくは80~140kg/m3であるがよい。
なお、みかけ密度は、ポリウレタンフォームから直方体を切り出し、その重量W(kg)と縦、横、高さの3辺の長さL、M、H(m)を測定し、次の式から算出する。
みかけ密度(kg/m3)=W/(L×M×H)
本願において、「圧縮残留ひずみ」は、JIS K6400-4に準拠して、70℃、圧縮率50%、22時間で測定したものをいう。なお、圧縮残留ひずみは、従来公知の装置により測定することができる。
本発明のポリウレタンフォームは、その反発弾性が35%以下、好ましくは30%以下、より好ましくは28%以下、最も好ましくは26%以下であるのがよい。
なお、本願において、反発弾性は、JIS K6400-3:2011に準じて測定された値をいう。具体的には試験片を準備し、該試験片から500mmの高さに銅球を置き、そこから該銅球を落下させ銅球の跳ね返った高さを測定し、(銅球の跳ね返った高さ)/500mm×100を反発弾性(%)とする。
本発明のポリウレタンフォームは、好ましくは、「みかけ密度」、「圧縮残留ひずみ」及び「反発弾性」の3つの特性のうち2つ以上の特性を有するのがよく、より好ましくは、上記3つの特性をすべて有するのがよい。なお、2つ以上の特性を有する場合又は3つの特性をすべて有する場合、その組合せにおいて、各々の特性の数値は上記範囲であるのがよい。
本願は、上述のポリウレタンフォームを有して形成される材料、上述のポリウレタンフォームから本質的になる材料、又は上述のポリウレタンフォームのみからなる材料を開示する。
ここで、「上述のポリウレタンフォームを有して形成される」材料とは、材料が「上述のポリウレタンフォーム」を有して形成されるが、材料はそれ以外の成分を有してもよいことを意味する。
また、「上述のポリウレタンフォームのみからなる」材料とは、文字とおり、材料が「上述のポリウレタンフォーム」だけから形成され、「上述のポリウレタンフォーム」以外の成分は含まないことを意味する。
さらに、「上述のポリウレタンフォームから本質的になる」材料とは、材料の主な成分は「上述のポリウレタンフォーム」であり、「上述のポリウレタンフォーム」由来の特性を損なわない範囲で「上述のポリウレタンフォーム」以外の成分を含んでもよいことを意味する。
本発明の材料の応用例として、緩衝材を挙げることができる。該緩衝材として、具体的には、自動車、航空機、鉄道などの輸送機のシート、床天井等吸音・制振材、内装材;マットレス、枕、ソファ、肘掛、クッションなどの寝具、家具用材料;パッキング、シーリングを含む工業用、電化製品用緩衝材;肩パッド、スキー靴、運動靴、ブーツ、防寒材ライナーなどの靴、衣類用緩衝材;スピーカー支持体、イヤホーンなど音響機器の緩衝材、吸音材;カーペット、フローリングの下張材、壁の緩衝材、保温・断熱材などの建築用材料;ヘルメット、研磨用担体、清掃用スポンジ、スポーツ用品、プロテクター用パッド・シート、各種フィルター、玩具、梱包材などを挙げることができるがこれらに限定されない。
また、本発明の材料は、優れた感触や肌触りを有することから、各種化粧用スポンジ、例えばファンデーションの塗布具、チークやアイシャドーなどのアプリケーターとして、用いることができる。
ファンデーションの塗布用の化粧用スポンジとして用いるには、厚みが4~20mmとした円形、四角形、楕円形、卵形などの平面形状に加工して使用するのがよい。平面形状の端部は研磨加工を施しまるみを付けるのが好ましい。また、みかけ密度を上述の範囲、特に70~160kg/m3、好ましくは80~140kg/m3とすることができ、コシが強く、肌触り・肌当たりが良く、使用感と化粧料の塗布性が良い塗布具とすることができる。
アイシャドーアプリケーターとして用いるには、厚さ1~3mmのシートとし、2枚を熱加工により溶着溶断し、袋状のチップを作成し、これに把手を接着して使用してもよい。本発明の材料によれば、コシが強く、肌触り・肌当たりが良く、使用感が良いことに加え、溶着強度が高く、溶断面の溶融物が少なく耐久性があり、溶着部で肌に傷を付けるおそれがない。
上述したように、本発明のポリウレタンフォームは、上述のポリウレタンフォーム用組成物から、公知の方法により、形成することができる。
本発明のポリウレタンフォームは、具体的には次の方法で製造することができる。
1) (A)OH基を3以上有するポリオールを準備する工程;
2) (B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物を準備する工程;
3) (C)環状分子の開口部が直鎖状分子によって串刺し状に包接されてなる擬ポリロタキサンの両端に前記環状分子が脱離しないように封鎖基を配置してなるポリロタキサンを準備する工程;及び
4) (A)OH基を3以上有するポリオール、(B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物、(C)ポリロタキサン、発泡剤、及び整泡剤を混合して、発泡させ、反応させる工程;
を有することにより、ポリウレタンフォームを製造することができる。
以下、工程1)~工程4)について、説明する。
工程1)は、(A)OH基を3以上有するポリオールを準備する工程である。
ここで、「(A)OH基を3以上有するポリオール」は、上述と同じ定義を有し、上述した「ポリオール」を用いるのがよい。
上述したように、「ポリオール」は、「ポリオール混合物」を用いるのが好ましい。
「(A)OH基を3以上有するポリオール」、ポリオール混合物中の「(A)OH基を3以上有するポリオール」以外のポリオールは、市販されているものを用いても、新たに合成したものを用いてもよい。
工程2)は、(B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物を準備する工程である。
ここで、「(B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物」は、上述と同じ定義を有し、上述した「(B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物」を用いるのがよい。
「(B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物」は、市販されているものを用いても、新たに合成したものを用いてもよい。
工程3)は、(C)ポリロタキサンを準備する工程である。
ここで、「(C)ポリロタキサン」は、上述と同じ定義を有し、上述した「(C)ポリロタキサン」を用いるのがよい。
「(C)ポリロタキサン」は、市販されているものを用いても、新たに合成したものを用いてもよい。
なお、工程1)~3)は、その順序を問わない。工程1)~3)を並列的に行っても、逐次的に行ってもよく、逐次的に行う場合にはその順序はどのようなものであってもよい。
工程4)は、(A)OH基を3以上有するポリオール、(B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物、(C)ポリロタキサン、発泡剤、及び整泡剤を混合して、発泡させ、反応させる工程である。
工程4)において、(B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物を最後に混合するのがよい。
工程4)は、従来公知の手法により行うことができる。
工程4)のうち、混合工程は、必要に応じて、溶媒の存在下で行ってもよい。なお、溶媒としては、上述した溶媒を挙げることができるがこれらに限定されない。
また、混合工程は、従来公知の手法における温度、圧力の下で行うことができる。なお、混合には従来公知の撹拌機を使用することができる。混合方法として、常圧と高圧方法を使用することができる。
温度として、20~60℃であるのがよい。
上述したように、(B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物を最後に混合するのがよいが、(B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物を混合した後は、短時間で混合を行うのがよい。具体的には、イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物が混合されてから注型に至るまで30秒以内、好ましくは10秒以内、より好ましくは5秒以内であるのがよい。なお、具体的な装置及び/又は方法について、限定されるものではないが、例えば(B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物以外の成分と、イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物とを連続的に供給し、混合し、排出する装置又は方法を採用するのが好ましい。
以下、実施例に基づいて、本発明をさらに詳細に説明するが、本発明は本実施例に限定されるものではない。
ポリロタキサンは、市販品(商品名:セルムスーパーポリマーSH1310P(アドバンスト・ソフトマテリアルズ社製)、重量平均分子量180000、OHV=85)を用いた。なお、該市販品ポリロタキサンは、直鎖状分子:ポリエチレングリコール(重量平均分子量:11000);環状分子:修飾α-シクロデキストリン(水酸基の一部をヒドロキシプロピル基で置換した後、カプロラクトン基を付加した);封鎖基:アダマンタン基;を用いていた。
ポリオールとして、次のものを用いた。
ポリオキシアルキレンポリオール(官能基数3、OHV=50、分子量3360、SANNIX FA-103(三洋化成工業製));
ポリプロピレングリコール(官能基数2、OHV=56、分子量2000、SANNIX PP-2000(三洋化成工業製))。
ポリオール配合液としての、ヒドロキシル基を両末端に有する線状ポリプロピレングリコール(官能基数2、OHV=56、分子量2000、SANNIX PP-2000(三洋化成工業製)60重量部;及びポリオキシアルキレンポリオール(官能基数3、OHV=50、分子量3360、SANNIX FA-103(三洋化成工業製))40重量部;鎖長剤としてのエチレングリコール(換算OHV=1806)6重量部;上述のポリロタキサン(OHV=85)10重量部;発泡剤としての水0.8重量部;反応触媒としてのスタナスオクトエート0.6重量部;シリコーン整泡剤2.0重量部;をそれぞれ計量した。これらを、インペラ式ミキサーを装着した混合容器に入れ撹拌し均一に分散させ、ポリオールを含有する液とした。液温は25℃に温度調節した。
その直後に、30℃に温度調節し且つ上面が開放している金型に注ぎ、外気温25℃にて反応を行った。
反応が進むにつれ、気泡が発生し液面が上昇するライズ現象が起こることを確認した。また、樹脂化が進行し液状から固体状のポリウレタンフォームUF-1が形成された。フォームUF-1の断面は略四角形であり、フォームの歩留まりが高いものであった。
その後、フォームを金型から取り出し、40℃に温度調節した電気乾燥機にて3日間養生した。表面のスキンを漉き落とし、直方体のフォームUF-1Aを得た。このフォームUF-1Aは、気泡が細かく純白であり、弾性に富んでいた。
また、フォームUF-1Aを100mm×100mm角に切り出し、反発弾性試験の試験片とした。反発弾性試験は、JIS K6400-3:2011に準じて、試験片に500mmの高さから銅球を落下させ、跳ね返った高さから反発弾性を求めた。
みかけ密度、圧縮残留ひずみ、及び反発弾性の測定結果を表1に示す。
フォームUF-1Aを、別途、直径65mmの円盤状に切り出し、端部を砥石によりR加工を施し化粧用のファンデーション塗布具UF-1Bとした。ファンデーション塗布具UF-1Bは、気泡の細かさと弾性から肌触り・肌当たりがよかった。また、ファンデーション塗布具UF-1Bは、コシも強く、肌触り・肌当たり及びコシの強さの面において、化粧用スポンジとして優れたものであつた。また、実際にパウダーファンデーションを塗布して化粧をしたところ、均一にムラなく塗布することができ、化粧用スポンジとして大変優れたものであった。なお、肌触り・肌当たり、コシの強さ、及び塗布の均一性は、後述の実施例2、実施例3、比較例1で得られたファンデーション塗布具と比較した、相対的な官能試験に基づくものである。
肌触り・肌当たり及びコシの強さの官能試験の結果も表1に示す。
実施例2において、実施例1のポリロタキサンの量:10重量部を6重量部とし且つNCOインデックスが1.00となるようキシリレンジイソシアネートを36.5重量部とした以外、実施例1と同様の方法により、ポリウレタンフォームUF-2を調製し、その特性(みかけ密度、圧縮残留ひずみ及び反発弾性)を測定した。その結果を表1に示す。
また、実施例2のポリウレタンフォームUF-2から、実施例1と同様に、ファンデーション塗布具UF-2Bを得たところ、実施例1のファンデーション塗布具UF-1Bと比較するとコシの強さの点で多少劣るものの、それと同様に、化粧用スポンジとして大変優れたものであつた。
実施例3において、実施例1のポリロタキサンの量:10重量部を3重量部とし且つNCOインデックスが1.00となるようキシリレンジイソシアネートを36重量部とした以外、実施例1と同様の方法により、ポリウレタンフォームUF-3を調製し、その特性(みかけ密度、圧縮残留ひずみ及び反発弾性)を測定した。その結果を表1に示す。
また、実施例3のポリウレタンフォームUF-3から、実施例1と同様に、ファンデーション塗布具UF-3Bを得たところ、実施例1のファンデーション塗布具UF-1Bと比較すると肌触り・肌当たり及びコシの強さの点で多少劣るものの、それと同様に、化粧用スポンジとして優れたものであつた。
比較例1において、実施例1のポリロタキサンの量:10重量部を0重量部とし且つNCOインデックスが1.00となるようキシリレンジイソシアネートを35.5重量部とした以外、実施例1と同様の方法により、ポリウレタンフォームUF-C1を調製し、その特性(みかけ密度及び圧縮残留ひずみ)を測定した。その結果を表1に示す。
また、比較例1のポリウレタンフォームUF-C1から、実施例1と同様に、ファンデーション塗布具UF-C1Bを得たところ、実施例1のファンデーション塗布具UF-1Bとは異なり、肌触り・肌当たりが良好ではなく、コシの強さの点で劣り、ファンデーションの塗布具合も一部スジを引くという現象が観察され良好ではなく、化粧用スポンジとして劣ったものであつた。
即ち、本発明のポリウレタンフォーム組成物から作製したポリウレタンフォーム(特に実施例1のもの)は、同程度のみかけ密度を有する従来のポリウレタンフォーム(特に比較例1)より、低反発弾性でありながら、優れた圧縮残留ひずみを有する、即ちへたりが小さく、耐久性がよい、という特性を有する。また、本実施例で作製したポリウレタンフォームは、比較例1で作製したポリウレタンフォームと比較して、コシが強く、肌触り・肌当たりのよい特性を発現することがわかる。
Claims (13)
- (A)OH基を3以上有するポリオール;
(B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物;及び
(C)環状分子の開口部が直鎖状分子によって串刺し状に包接されてなる擬ポリロタキサンの両端に前記環状分子が脱離しないように封鎖基を配置してなるポリロタキサン;
を含有するポリウレタンフォーム用組成物。 - 前記(A)OH基を3以上有するポリオールは、その平均分子量が250~8000である請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリウレタンフォーム用組成物は、前記(A)OH基を3以上有するポリオール;を含有するポリオール混合物を有する請求項1又は2記載の組成物。
- 前記(A)OH基を3以上有するポリオールは、前記ポリオール混合物100重量部中、20~90重量部である請求項3記載の組成物。
- 前記(C)ポリロタキサンは、前記ポリオール混合物100重量部に対して、1.0~15.0重量部である請求項3又は4記載の組成物。
- 前記(B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物のイソシアネート基のモル数と前記ポリウレタンフォーム用組成物中の活性水素のモル数との比率(((B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物のイソシアネート基のモル数)/(ポリウレタンフォーム用組成物中の活性水素のモル数))が、0.50~1.80である請求項3~5のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 請求項1~6のいずれか1項記載のポリウレタンフォーム用組成物由来のポリウレタンフォーム。
- 前記ポリウレタンフォームのみかけ密度が50~180kg/m3である請求項7記載のポリウレタンフォーム。
- 前記ポリウレタンフォームの圧縮残留ひずみが40%以下である請求項7又は8記載のポリウレタンフォーム。
- 請求項7~9のいずれか1項記載のポリウレタンフォームを有して形成される材料。
- 前記材料が、化粧用スポンジである請求項10記載の材料。
- 前記材料が、緩衝材料である請求項10記載の材料。
- 1) (A)OH基を3以上有するポリオールを準備する工程;
2) (B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物を準備する工程;
3) (C)環状分子の開口部が直鎖状分子によって串刺し状に包接されてなる擬ポリロタキサンの両端に前記環状分子が脱離しないように封鎖基を配置してなるポリロタキサンを準備する工程;及び
4) 前記(A)OH基を3以上有するポリオール、前記(B)イソシアネート基を2以上有する化合物、前記(C)ポリロタキサン、発泡剤、及び整泡剤を混合して、発泡させ、反応させる工程;
を有することにより、ポリウレタンフォームを得る、ポリウレタンフォームの製造方法。
