Abstract

Dans la présente invention, des premier et second capteurs magnétiques (24A, 24B) sont disposés au niveau de positions séparées l'une de l'autre le long de la direction de rotation d'un rotor d'un moteur à courant alternatif monophasé (10). Dans un procédé de démarrage permettant d'amener le rotor dans un état stationnaire pour démarrer dans une première direction, un contrôleur (16) entraîne le rotor par application d'une tension d'attaque ayant une première polarité d'un onduleur (14) à un stator. Le contrôleur (16) détecte la direction de rotation du rotor sur la base de signaux détectés par les premier et second capteurs magnétiques (24A, 24B) lorsque le rotor est dans l'état stationnaire et lorsque le rotor tourne. Lorsque la direction de rotation du rotor est détectée comme étant une seconde direction opposée à la première direction, le contrôleur (16) inverse la première polarité de la tension d'attaque vers une seconde polarité.
