  • An intermediate element between the mobile chassis 2 and the transfer bed 5 is the interface 4, which basic part is an interface board 65 comprising two guiding sagittal profiles 66 which have in the front part inside two frame holders to which are firmly anchored sliding segments 6 of the front extension 15 with a transverse pin; in the rear compartment of the interface 4 inside of the guiding sagittal profiles 66 there are frame pockets 68 where the sliding segments 16 of the extension 15 with a transverse pin.
  • the pair of the guiding sagittal profiles 66 is followed by a guiding board 69 in the center of which an automatic lock 70 firmly connected with the interface board is located, that is ended by a pair of loading edges 71 of the guiding board 69.
  • In the rear part of the interface board 65 there are two corner forks 72 in which two height guidance rollers 73 are placed rotationaliy, and two retaining hooks 74 are placed in the front part of the interface 4.
  • Adjustable locking joint 77 is arranged so that it forms an arm fork 79, where an arm eye 80 is inserted concentrically in which a mounting groove 81_is placed.

  • the unlocking from the position is possible only by pressing the button 92 arranged in the left lateral part of the guidance board 69.
  • the main part of the transfer bed 5 is the bed frame 93, in which the bed castors 88 are placed rotationally in forks near the corners, and in which rear part the staffed pin 9_1 is firmly attached with it in.

  • the carrying handles 101 are in the same line as the double runners 94, and the tapered pin 102 fits for each of the carrying handle 101 to its corresponding conical recess.
  • a central button 105 is arranged centrally slidably at the end of the carrying handle 101 , connected with a push rod 106; while a return spring 107 leaning on the stop ring 108 on the opposite side is arranged in the central button 105.

  • a system of side rail retraction 1_14 is consisting of transversely extending guiding side rails 115 with guiding grooves 116 in opposition for slidably deposition of a collapsible side rail 117.
  • the collapsible side rail 117 mainly consists of a side rail frame 118 into which a side rail padding H9 is inserted through the pushed parts 120.   • the adjustable pulley 130 adjusts the backlash of the cord 128 with ending and its blocking is done through a retaining screw 132. After unlatching through the side rail handle 122 the second position of the collapsible side rail 117 is the position under the transfer bed 5; while the lower hollow pins 125 with shoulders fit in to the end fault 133 in the lower guiding grooves 16.
  • the upper surface of the bed frame 93 is fitted with the loading board 134, this function is provided by the backrest 96 in the front part.

  • the stretcher 1 - mobile, multipurpose transfer bed for patients there can be a mobile chassis 2 used, where the wheel unit 8 with unlimited turning radius is substituted for an omnidirectional wheel unit 14 which advantage is no need of wheel turning that is provided with a special function of the wheel turning depending on the needs of the movement, allowing so-called crab movement sideways or turning on the spot in extreme modes.
  • Batteries 17 needed to power the in-wheel electric drives, electric drives of directional wheel turning of the wheel units 8, electric motors of the telescopic columns 3 and electromagnetic brakes 54 are placed in the cavities of the chassis frame 6.
  • Telescopic columns 3 are placed in anterior-posterior way firmly in the chassis frame 6 among the batteries 17; while on the upper part of each of them is firmly mounted an extension 15 with a transverse pin, in which end parts the sliding segments 16 are placed extending into the space of recesses of interface board 65; while one extension 15 with a transverse pin and sliding segments 16 connects a telescopic column of the interface 4 rotationally only, in case of the second telescopic column 3 there is a swivel arrangement, but there is also a sliding arrangement frame of the interface board 65 allowing not only raising but also anteroposterior tilting of the interface 4, i.e. also of the transfer bed 5 placed on it.
  • the last part of the mobile chassis 2 is a control column 18 which is rotatable in both directions by 90° as a whole in the bottom part especially for the reason of manipulation of the transfer bed 5, or for the reason of the necessary reduction in the overall length of a mobile chassis 2 in certain situations, e.g. when riding in an elevator etc.
  • control column 8 The basis of the control column 8 is an L-shaped column, ended by a vertical peg at the bottom of the column, which is arranged through an omnidirectional bearing 21 in chassis frame flange 22.
  • the control column 18 is adjustable in its vertical part through a disengaging part of column 23 via guiding housings 24 relative to the column frame 19.
  • a variation actuating mechanism 25 is in the vertical interspace of guided and guiding members of the telescopic column 3 enabling the adjusting in the direction of upward movement of the disengaging part of column 23, continuous downward movement is allowed only at the highest upper position.
  • a part of the disengaging part of column 23 is then a head 26 which is firmly connected with a horizontal flange 27, closing together with a ring 28 with flange the space of the outer ring of the omnidirectional bearing 29 of handlebars.
  • An inner ring of the bearing 29 is arranged on the hollow pin of the handlebar frame 30 in which upper part in the shaped recess 104 are the handlebar 3_1 placed and secured through a clip 32 relative to the handlebar frame 30.

  • a safety switch 35 of the large button attached through a holder 33 connected firmly with the handlebar frame 30, which rigid part is vertical handlebar bolt 38 extending to the space of the head 26 that is firmly connected with a flange of rotary absorber 39; while its central part is dimensionally interconnected with a handlebar bolt and allows the damping of the motion of the handlebars 3J. depending on the speed of rotation.
  • a clamping ring 40 placed allowing firm connection between the handlebar bolt 38 and the rotating part of the angle sensor 4J . which body is connected with an angle sensor holder, firmly interconnected with the head 26 of the disengaging part of column 23.
  • the angle sensor 4J is designated to measure an angular rotation of handlebars 3_1 controlling the wheel turning of the wheel units 8 with unlimited turning radius of the mobile chassis 2 via drive by wire system.
  • Disengaging part of column 23 together with handlebars 3J . is covered by a column cover 49 in which upper part a display 50 for steering of the stretcher - mobile, multipurpose transfer bed for patients is placed; while the handlebars 3J. are complemented by mutually gripping handle 51., and hand presence detection 52.
  • the gripping elements are complemented by an electronic throttle 53 with throttle by wire system controlled by thumb, returning to the starting position without the contact; on the left side there is a security electronic brake 54 operating in brake by wire system electronically determining the rate of release thereby allowing a safety function of complete stop during power failure via accumulated spring force, additionally, the system is used as an electronic parking brake controlled by operator, for example through the display 50.
  • the chassis frame flange 22 is followed by the flange extension in which the sliding housing with collar are inserted, in which the blocking pin 55 of vertical peg is arranged, oppressed by a pin spring 58 and unlocked by the angled rod 60 led in the ballscrew 59.
  • the angled rod 60 is interconnected with rod 62 of the release handle 63 pivotaliy located in the coaxial pins 64; while both rods 62 are interconnected with a rod coupling 61 ensuring the possibility of adjusting of blocking mechanism of the control column 18.
  • Another major subassembly following the mobile chassis 2 is the interface 4.
  • the interface 4 consists of basic self-supporting interface board 65 which is connected to other necessary components. Above all, these are two laterally guiding sagittal profiles 66 continuing in a lateral guiding board 69 in the front part, and in the front part of the interface board 65 there are corner forks 72 in which a pair of vertically guiding rollers 73 is arranged. In the rear part of the interface board 65, there is a pair of retaining hooks 74 which after approaching of the transfer bed 5 prevent its lifting due to contact of central staffed pins 90 of the transfer bed 5_castors; then the guiding sagittal profile 66 prevents the horizontal lateral movement of the bed castors 88; and the third retaining point of the transfer bed 5 is a staffed pin 9J.
  • Hinged holder of the protection sheet 78 of the use can be mounted alternatively on the sides of the interface 4; while a double holder 75 is in its head part, and a single holder 76 is in the opposite side on each side.
  • Opened holders 75, Zf are used to deploy the protection sheet 78 and thus protect the patient from harsh weather, e.g. rain; then infusion hooks 139 are on double holders 75 in the front part of the interface 4 on the end arms inside and are used for hanging the infusion during patient treatment.
  • the front double holders 75 are equipped with group of three infusion hooks 39 on its inner side and in an expanded state they also serve as integrated infusion stand. Holder are positioned via locking joints 77 in axis always consisting of a push pin 82 with a molded radial pin 83 and supplemented by a joint spring 84 embedded in its cavity.
  • One of the swinging arm positioning is ended with an arm eye 82 and this is inserted into the second end - arm fork 79-
  • the push pin 82 with molded radial pin 83 is inserted axially the specified relative position of arms over the mounting groove 8_1 of the arm eye 80 and arm fork 79 inwardly so that the joint spring 84 is leaning on the blind arm fork 79; a sliding shaped interconnection of the end of the push pin 82 and the inner recess of the rear arm fork 79 occurs simultaneously, it is necessary to rotate one of the arms or the push pin 82 thereby blocking the push pin 82 into the locking joint 77, and positioning is done through the radial pin 83 that is inserted into the two end radiai grooves 85 on the side of the joint spring 84 of the arm eye 80.
  • a swinging movement of arms is limited last through an adjusting pin 87 fitted in the arm fork 79 extending into the arc groove 86 of the arm eye 80 creating a movement that is limiting the end stops.
  • the last subassembly of the stretcher - mobile, multipurpose transfer bed for patients is the transfer bed 5.
  • the transfer bed 5 consists of the following basic subassemblies and parts: it is mainly the bed frame 93 with double runners 94, then the adjustable backrest 96 comprising two support arms 97 connected through the board with handle 98 balanced via two gas springs 99 always latched in place of the piston assembly head through the lever with handle 100.
  • the support arm 97 and the gas spring 99 are arranged pivotally in the double handle 95 of the bed frame 93; while in corners of the bed frame 93 there are carrying handles 101 arranged pivotally being locked in a working position through a tapered pin 102 pushed by the push spring 103.
  • a central button 105 pivotally mounted in the handle 10, is used to unlatching when pressing the central button 105 a shift of the L-shaped push rod 06 occurs while acting on the front part of the tapered pin 102 which causes releasing of the handlelOl from the bed frame 93 and it can be folded by 90° to the starting position; while the tapered pin 102 due to action of the push spring 103 fits into shallow shaped recess 104 of the carrying handle 101 from which the tapered pin 102 can be gotten out by increased manual pressure. Movement of the push rod 106 and thus also the central button 105 into the initial position is caused by the return spring 107 braced between the embedded stop ring 108 and the central button 105 shoulder. The adjustment of the function described can be done via threaded connection between the push rod 106 and the central button 105.
  • the transfer bed 5 further comprises a movable X-ray frame 110 in two longitudinal lines 109.
  • An electronic X-ray cassette 1 1 1 is inserted crosswise or lengthwise - according to the shaped matrixes - into the X-ray frame 1 10; while side indicators 1 3 are used to identification and manual adjustment of its position connected with the X-ray frame 1 10 through shaped extensions 112 and moving on both sides in the interspace of the double runner 94 of the bed frame 93.
  • a system of side rail retraction 114 is mounted firmly in the lower central part of the bed frame 93; consisting of guiding side rails 15 with shaped guiding grooves 1 16 and two side collapsible side rails 1 17.
  • the collapsible side rail 1 17 consists of a side rail frame 1_18 into which a side rail padding 1 19 is inserted through the shaped flexibly pushed parts 120, and further a side rail handle 122 mounted pivotally in the side rail frame 118 and presuspended through a torsion spring 123 of handle with centering on a through pin 121 .
  • the collapsible side rail 1 17 is guided in two pairs of guiding grooves 1 16 when inserting.
  • the upper pair of the guiding grooves 116 is guided by a pair of fixed pins 124 on the side rail frame 1 18, and jn the bottom pair of the guiding grooves 1 16.
  • Blocked collapsible side rail 117 is unlocked such that pulling a hand on the handle 122 of the side rail creates a pull on a pair of cords 128 with endings placed in the side rail frame 118 and extending on both sides into the inner conical bolt shoulder 126 with double shoulder thereby causing a disconnection.
  • Conduction of the tensile forces in each of the cords 128 with endings enables adjustable fixing of the free end of each of the cords 128 with endings in the adjustable pulley 130 through two set screws 131; as well as the assessment of the cord backlash enables conical arrangement of the adjustable pulley 130 in handle 122 of the side rail and its adjusting rotation, and securing through a retaining screw 132.
  • the cord 128 with ending is arranged into the groove of adjustable pulley 130 through the guiding pulley 129 rotatably mounted in the side rail frame H8 thereby permitting a draught in the cord 128 with ending through the handle 122 of the side rail without substantial faults.
  • Fitting of the collapsible side rail ⁇ 7 in retracted position is done without latching and it is enabled due to the short end fault 133 of the lower guiding groove 1 16 of the collapsible side rail 1 17; and the collapsible side rail 1 17 can be pulled out from this position by a slight tension.
  • a loading board 134 is arranged which is together with the board 98 with handle used as a basis for the arrangement of a monolithic mattress 135; and on double longitudinal runners 94 of the frame bed 93 there are safety belts 136 attached encompassing the monolithic mattresses 135 and the user stretcher 1, if necessary.
  • the stretcher - mobile, multipurpose transfer bed for patients is controlled by electronic control system which electronics 137 and electrical wiring, servoamp!ifiers especially, are arranged in front and back pockets of the chassis frame 6 and among the power batteries 17.
  • Chassis covers 138 are used for safety, utility and aesthetic reasons, from which it is possible to use the central part between the telescopic columns 3 for storing the transferred material.
  • the device is systematically utilized in health care, especially in large hospital campuses with the need for passage through the outdoor areas and the need for rescue and transport of patients in outdoor conditions (unpaved surfaces, etc.).
