本発明の一局面に係る画像読取装置は、プラテンガラスを有し、前記プラテンガラス上に載置された原稿を読取る読取部と、前記読取部に対して開閉自在に支持された原稿押さえ部と、前記原稿押さえ部に取り付けられ、該原稿押さえ部が閉じられたときに前記プラテンガラス上の原稿を押さえる原稿押圧板と、前記原稿押さえ部の前記対向面から突出した形状とされ、前記対向面と前記原稿押圧板の間に介在して、該原稿押さえ部が閉じられたときに前記プラテンガラスの配設領域に重なる位置に設けられた高さ規制部と、を備えるものである。
Claims (11)
- プラテンガラスを有し、前記プラテンガラス上に載置された原稿を読取る読取部と、
前記読取部に対して開閉自在に支持された原稿押さえ部と、
前記原稿押さえ部に取り付けられ、該原稿押さえ部が閉じられたときに前記プラテンガラス上の原稿を押さえる原稿押圧板と、
前記原稿押さえ部における前記プラテンガラス側に向く対向面から突出した形状とされ、前記対向面と前記原稿押圧板の間に介在して、該原稿押さえ部が閉じられたときに前記プラテンガラスの配設領域に重なる位置に設けられた高さ規制部と、を備える画像読取装置。 - 前記原稿押さえ部の前記対向面に設けられた弾性部材を更に備え、
前記原稿押圧板は、前記弾性部材を介して前記原稿押さえ部に取り付けられ、
前記弾性部材は、伸張状態では、前記対向面からの長さが、前記高さ規制部よりも長く設定され、前記原稿押さえ部が閉じられて前記プラテンガラスによる押圧を受けたときには、前記高さ規制部よりも前記対向面側に縮むことが可能な弾性を有する請求項1に記載の画像読取装置。 - 前記原稿押さえ部が開かれたときには、前記弾性部材が前記プラテンガラスからの押圧を受けずに前記伸張状態となって、前記原稿押圧板を前記高さ規制部から離間させ、
前記原稿押さえ部が閉じられると、前記原稿押圧板は前記プラテンガラスにより押圧されて前記原稿押圧板と前記対向面の間で圧縮され、前記高さ規制部に前記原稿押圧板が当接する請求項2に記載の画像読取装置。 - 前記弾性部材は、前記原稿押さえ部における前記対向面の各部に複数設けられ、前記原稿押圧板を局所的に押圧する請求項2に記載の画像読取装置。
- 前記弾性部材は、前記原稿押さえ部の前記対向面が前記原稿押圧板に対向している全領域に亘る大きさで前記対向面に設けられている請求項2に記載の画像読取装置。
- 前記高さ規制部は、副走査方向において前記弾性部材よりも前記原稿押圧板の端部側に配置されている請求項1に記載の画像形成装置。
- 前記原稿押さえ部は、副走査方向における一方の端部に設けられた回動機構を軸支点として、前記プラテンガラスとの接離方向に回動して開閉する構成とされ、
前記高さ規制部は、副走査方向において異なる位置にそれぞれ設けられ、当該副走査方向において異なる位置に設けられた2つの前記高さ規制部のうち、副走査方向において前記軸支点から離れた位置にある一方の前記高さ規制部を、他方の前記高さ規制部よりも前記対向面からの長さが長くなる形状とし、
前記弾性部材は、前記原稿押さえ部が閉じられておらず前記プラテンガラスからの押圧を受けていない非圧縮の伸張状態では、前記弾性部材の前記対向面からの長さが、前記一方の前記高さ規制部よりも長くされている請求項2に記載の画像形成装置。 - 前記一方の前記高さ規制部の周辺に設けられている前記弾性部材は、前記他方の前記高さ規制部材の周辺に設けられている前記弾性部材よりも柔軟性が高い素材からなる請求項7に記載の画像形成装置。
- 前記一方の前記高さ規制部は、主走査方向において1つのみ設けられている請求項7に記載の画像形成装置。
- 前記一方の前記高さ規制部及び前記他方の前記高さ規制部は、主走査方向において複数設けられている請求項7に記載の画像形成装置。
- 請求項1に記載の画像読取装置と、
前記画像読取装置の読取部により読取られた原稿の画像を記録紙に形成する画像形成部と、を備えた画像形成装置。
