Description

電動車両用インバータ装置
 本開示は、電動車両用インバータ装置に関する。
 平滑コンデンサに並列に電気的に接続される単一のスイッチング素子をオンすることで、平滑コンデンサに溜まった電荷をグランドに流す電動車両用インバータ装置が知られている(例えば、特許文献1参照)。

 しかしながら、上記の特許文献1に記載のような単一のスイッチング素子を用いる電動車両用インバータ装置では、スイッチング素子の耐圧以上に平滑コンデンサの両端電圧を高くできないため、モータの高回転化に伴う平滑コンデンサの両端電圧の高電圧化に対応することが難しい。即ち、高電圧化に対応するためには、スイッチング素子の耐圧を上げる必要があり、コスト増加や体格増加(大型化)、導通損失の増加を招く。
 これに対して、スイッチング素子の耐圧を上げることなく平滑コンデンサの両端電圧の高電圧化を可能とするために、直列接続した複数のスイッチング素子を平滑コンデンサに並列接続する方法が考えられる。しかしながら、かかる方法では、複数のスイッチング素子に個体差(例えば、スイッチング素子がオンする閾値電圧の差)があると、複数のスイッチング素子に不均衡な電圧が印加される可能性がある。この場合、例えば上段側のスイッチング素子よりも下段側のスイッチング素子が早くオンしたときに、上段側のスイッチング素子に耐圧以上の電圧が印加されてしまう可能性がある。
 この点、製造時に2つのスイッチング素子の個体差を予め測定しておき、後でオンする方のスイッチング素子側にクランプ回路を追加するという方法もありえるが、かかる方法では、個体差を測定する手間(工数)がかかるという問題がある。
 そこで、本開示は、直列接続した複数のスイッチング素子を平滑コンデンサに並列接続する構成において、スイッチング素子に耐圧以上の電圧が印加される可能性を低減できる電動車両用インバータ装置の提供を目的とする。

 以下、添付図面を参照しながら各実施例について詳細に説明する。
 以下の説明において、特に言及しない限り、各種の要素間の“接続”という用語は、“電気的な接続”を意味する。
 図1は、電動車両用モータ駆動システム1の全体構成の一例を示す図である。モータ駆動システム1は、高圧バッテリ10の電力を用いて走行用モータ40を駆動することにより車両を駆動させるシステムである。尚、電動車両は、電力を用いて走行用モータ40を駆動して走行するものであれば、その方式や構成の詳細は任意である。電動車両は、典型的には、動力源がエンジンと走行用モータ40であるハイブリッド自動車や、動力源が走行用モータ40のみである電気自動車を含む。
 モータ駆動システム1は、図1に示すように、高圧バッテリ10、電動車両用インバータ装置12、走行用モータ40、及び、インバータ制御装置50を備える。
 高圧バッテリ10は、電力を蓄積して直流電圧を出力する任意の蓄電装置であり、ニッケル水素バッテリ、リチウムイオンバッテリや電気2重層キャパシタ等の容量性素子を含んでよい。高圧バッテリ10は、典型的には、定格電圧が100Vを超えるバッテリであり、定格電圧が例えば288Vである。
 電動車両用インバータ装置12は、平滑コンデンサCと、放電回路20と、インバータ30とを含む。
 平滑コンデンサCは、インバータ30に並列に接続される。
 放電回路20は、放電指令が入力された場合に、平滑コンデンサCに溜まっている電荷をグランドに流す(放電する)機能を有する。放電指令は、典型的には、車両衝突検出時又は車両衝突不可避判定時に入力される。放電指令は、車両の安全装置(例えばエアバック)を制御するエアバックECUやプリクラッシュECU等(図示せず)から供給されてよい。放電回路20の更なる説明は後に行う。
 インバータ30は、正極ラインと負極ラインとの間に互いに並列に配置されるU相、V相、W相の各アームから構成される。U相アームはスイッチング素子(本例ではIGBT:Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor)Q1,Q2の直列接続からなり、V相アームはスイッチング素子(本例ではIGBT)Q3,Q4の直列接続からなり、W相アームはスイッチング素子(本例ではIGBT)Q5,Q6の直列接続からなる。また、各スイッチング素子Q1~Q6のコレクタ-エミッタ間には、それぞれ、エミッタ側からコレクタ側に電流を流すようにダイオードD11~D16が配置される。尚、スイッチング素子Q1~Q6は、MOSFET(metal oxide semiconductor field-effect transistor)のような、IGBT以外の他のスイッチング素子であってもよい。
 走行用モータ40は、3相の交流モータであり、U,V,W相の3つのコイルの一端が中点で共通接続されている。U相コイルの他端は、スイッチング素子Q1,Q2の中点M1に接続され、V相コイルの他端は、スイッチング素子Q3,Q4の中点M2に接続され、W相コイルの他端は、スイッチング素子Q5,Q6の中点M3に接続される。スイッチング素子Q1のコレクタと負極ラインとの間には、平滑コンデンサCが接続される。
 インバータ制御装置50は、インバータ30を制御する。インバータ制御装置50は、例えばCPU,ROM、メインメモリ(全て図示せず)などを含み、インバータ制御装置50の各種機能は、ROM等に記録された制御プログラムがメインメモリに読み出されてCPUにより実行されることによって実現される。インバータ30の制御方法は、任意であるが、基本的には、U相に係る2つのスイッチング素子Q1,Q2が互いに逆相でオン/オフし、V相に係る2つのスイッチング素子Q3,Q4が互いに逆相でオン/オフし、W相に係る2つのスイッチング素子Q5,Q6が互いに逆相でオン/オフする。
 尚、図1に示す例では、モータ駆動システム1は、単一の走行用モータ40を備えているが、追加のモータ(発電機を含む)を備えてもよい。この場合、追加のモータ(複数も可)は、対応するインバータと共に、走行用モータ40及びインバータ30と並列な関係で、高圧バッテリ10に接続されてもよい。また、図1に示す例では、モータ駆動システム1は、DC/DCコンバータを備えていないが、高圧バッテリ10とインバータ30の間にDC/DCコンバータを備えてもよい。
 高圧バッテリ10と平滑コンデンサCとの間には、図1に示すように、高圧バッテリ10から電力供給を遮断するための遮断用スイッチSW1が設けられる。遮断用スイッチSW1は、半導体スイッチやリレー等で構成されてもよい。遮断用スイッチSW1は、常態でオン状態であり、例えば車両の衝突検出時等にオフとされる。尚、遮断用スイッチSW1のオン/オフの切換はインバータ制御装置50により実現されてもよいし、他の制御装置により実現されてもよい。
 モータ駆動システム1は、放電回路20を更に含む。放電回路20は、図1に示すように、平滑コンデンサCに並列に接続される。尚、図1に示す例では、放電回路20は、平滑コンデンサCとインバータ30との間に配置されているが、遮断用スイッチSW1よりも平滑コンデンサC側に配置されていればよい。従って、放電回路20は、高圧バッテリ10(及び遮断用スイッチSW1)と平滑コンデンサCとの間に配置されてもよい。
 [実施例1]
 次に、図1に示した電動車両用モータ駆動システム1に適用できる電動車両用インバータ装置の一実施例(実施例1)について説明する。
 図2は、実施例1による電動車両用インバータ装置12を示す図である。図2においては、電動車両用インバータ装置12に加えて、高圧バッテリ10、及び遮断用スイッチSW1が併せて示されている。図2において、点Pは、平滑コンデンサCの正極側の端子と同電位の点を表し、図1の点Pに対応する。また、Nは、平滑コンデンサCの負極側の端子と同電位(グランド電位)の点を表し、図1の点Nに対応する。
 放電回路20は、放電抵抗R1と、電源回路62と、異常検出回路64と、放電制御回路66とを含む。
 放電抵抗R1は、平滑コンデンサCの正極側に一端が接続され、グランドに他端が接続される。
 電源回路62は、異常検出回路64及び放電制御回路66に供給される電源電圧Vccを生成する機能を有する。電源回路62は、平滑コンデンサCの電圧(平滑コンデンサCからの放電)を利用して定電圧(例えば+15V)の電源電圧Vccを生成する。電源回路62は、平滑コンデンサCに並列に接続される。
 電源回路62は、フォトカプラPCと、MOSFETであるスイッチング素子MOS1と、MOSFETであるスイッチング素子MOS2と、ツェナーダイオードDZ1と、抵抗R3,R4とを含む。
 スイッチング素子MOS1、スイッチング素子MOS2、及びコンデンサC2は直列接続される。スイッチング素子MOS1のドレインDr1は、平滑コンデンサCの正極側に接続され、スイッチング素子MOS1のソースS1は、スイッチング素子MOS2のドレインDr2に接続される。スイッチング素子MOS2のソースS2は、コンデンサC2を介してグランドに接続される。このようにして、直列接続されたスイッチング素子MOS1、スイッチング素子MOS2、及びコンデンサC2は、平滑コンデンサCに対して並列接続される。
 抵抗R3,R4及びツェナーダイオードDZ1は直列接続される。直列接続された抵抗R3,R4、及びツェナーダイオードDZ1は、同じく直列接続されたスイッチング素子MOS1、スイッチング素子MOS2、及びコンデンサC2とは別に、平滑コンデンサCに並列接続される。抵抗R3及び抵抗R4の間には、スイッチング素子MOS1のゲートG1が接続される。抵抗R4及びツェナーダイオードDZ1の間には、スイッチング素子MOS2のゲートG2が接続される。ツェナーダイオードDZ1は、陰極がスイッチング素子MOS2のゲートG2に接続される向きで、スイッチング素子MOS2のゲートG2とグランドの間に接続される。
 電源回路62には、放電指令が入力される。図示の例では、放電指令は、フォトカプラPCを介して電源回路62に入力される。放電指令は、パルス信号であり、例えば、“Hi”が放電ON指令であり、“Lo”が放電OFF指令である。放電指令が入力されると、フォトカプラPCのフォットトランジスタがオンする。フォットトランジスタがオンすると、スイッチング素子MOS2のゲートG2には、ツェナーダイオードDZ1により一定の電圧Vdz1が印加され、スイッチング素子MOS1のゲートG1には、抵抗R3,R4により分圧された一定の電圧が印加される。尚、スイッチング素子MOS1のゲートG1には、平滑コンデンサCの正極側の電圧から電圧Vdz1を差し引いた電圧が抵抗R3,R4により分圧されて印加される。このとき、スイッチング素子MOS1及びスイッチング素子MOS2は、リニアレギュレータとして動作する。これにより、定電圧の電源電圧Vccが生成される。この電源電圧Vccは、図2に示すように、異常検出回路64及び放電制御回路66で使用される。
 異常検出回路64は、例えば遮断用スイッチSW1等の異常に起因して放電が異常に長く継続されるのを防止する機能を有する。異常検出回路64は、制御回路64Aと、トランジスタTr1とを含む。異常検出回路64は、放電指令が入力されると、上述のように電源電圧Vccが印加される。異常検出回路64の制御回路64Aは、放電開始後に所定条件が成立したときにトランジスタTr1を強制的にオンする。例えば、異常検出回路64の制御回路64Aは、電源電圧Vccが印加され始めた後、一定時間ΔT1経過後に依然として電源電圧Vccが印加されている場合、トランジスタTr1をオンする。これは、何らかの異常(例えば、遮断用スイッチSW1がオン固着している場合等)により放電指令が発生している状態でも遮断用スイッチSW1が閉じている場合が想定されるためである。一定時間ΔT1は、放電を継続できる時間の上限値に対応し、試験等に基づいて適合される適合値であってよい。
 放電制御回路66は、平滑コンデンサCに溜まった電荷を放電抵抗R1を介してグランドに流す(放電する)機能を有する。放電制御回路66は、上述のように電源回路62により生成された電源電圧Vccで動作する。
 放電制御回路66は、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11と、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12と、第1電線71と、第2電線72と、第3電線73と、第4電線74と、ツェナーダイオードDZ2(第1定電圧生成素子の一例)と、ダイオードD1,D2と、抵抗R11,R12とを含む。
 第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11及び第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12は、放電抵抗R1と直列接続される。具体的には、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のドレインDr11は放電抵抗R1に接続され、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のソースS11は、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のドレインDr12に接続される。第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のソースS12は、グランドに接続される。
 第1電線71は、電源電圧Vccの入力端子(給電部の一例)に一端(接続点711参照)が接続され、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のゲートG12に他端(接続点712参照)が接続される。第1電線71の接続点711は、トランジスタTr1のコレクタと電源電圧Vccの入力端子の間に設けられる。従って、電源電圧Vccが生成されている間、トランジスタTr1がオフしている場合には、第1電線71の接続点711には、電源電圧Vccに対応した電圧(抵抗21での電圧降下分だけ低い電圧)が印加される。他方、電源電圧Vccが生成されている間、トランジスタTr1がオンしている場合には、第1電線71の接続点711は、実質的にグランド電位となる。また、第1電線71における第2電線72との接続点721と第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のゲートG12との間には、一端がグランドに接続される抵抗R12の他端が接続される。抵抗R12は、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のゲートG12を充電するために設けられる。
 第2電線72は、第1電線71における接続点711と第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のゲートG12との間に一端(接続点721参照)が接続され、第1放電用スイッチング素子のゲートに他端(接続点722参照)が接続される。尚、第2電線72の一端(接続点721参照)の電位は、第1電線71の接続点711の電位と同じである。
 第2電線72には、ダイオードD1が設けられる。ダイオードD1は、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のゲートG11に向かう方向とは逆方向の電流の流れを阻止する。
 第3電線73は、第2電線72におけるダイオードD1と第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のゲートG12との間に一端(接続点731参照)が接続され、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のドレインDr11と放電抵抗R1との間に他端(接続点732参照)が接続される。
 第3電線73には、ツェナーダイオードDZ2及びダイオードD2が設けられる。ツェナーダイオードDZ2は、陰極が第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のドレインDr11に接続される向きで設けられる。ダイオードD2は、陽極がツェナーダイオードDZ2の陽極に接続される向きで設けられる。
 第4電線74は、第2電線72におけるダイオードD1と第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のゲートG12との間に一端(接続点741参照)が接続され、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のソースS11と第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のドレインDr12との間に他端(接続点742参照)が接続される。
 第4電線74には、抵抗R11が設けられる。
 ここで、第3電線73、ツェナーダイオードDZ2、及びダイオードD2は、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11と協動して、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のドレイン・ソース間電圧Vdsが所定の上限値(クランプ電圧)を超えないように制限(クランプ)するクランプ回路として機能する。具体的には、図2に示すような方向でVz,Vfを定義したとき、クランプ電圧Vds_clampは、以下で決まる。

ここで、Vthは、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11の閾値電圧である。
 このように図2に示す電動車両用インバータ装置12によれば、上述のようにツェナーダイオードDZ2等がクランプ回路として機能するので、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11に耐圧を超えるような電圧が印加されることを防止できる。
 例えば、放電開始時の平滑コンデンサCの正極側の電位が1200[V]であり、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11の耐圧が900[V]であるとする。このとき、例えば上の式(1)におけるVz、Vf、及びVthをそれぞれ、600[V]、1[V]及び4[V]とすると、クランプ電圧Vds_clampは、605[V]となる。このようにして、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11の耐圧の値を考慮してVzの値等を決定することで、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11の耐圧を1200[V]よりも高くすることなく、放電回路20の全体としての耐圧を高めることができる。
 次に、図3等を参照しつつ、図2に示した放電制御回路66の動作(機能)について更に説明する。
 図3は、本実施例1の放電制御回路66により実現される電圧波形の一例を示す図である。図4は、第1比較例による放電制御回路を示す図である。図5は、第2比較例による放電制御回路を示す図である。図6は、第2比較例の放電制御回路により実現される電圧波形の一例を示す図である。
 図3及び図6では、上側は、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のゲート・ソース間電圧Vgs11及び第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のゲート・ソース間電圧Vgs12のそれぞれの電圧波形を示し、下側は、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のドレイン・ソース間電圧Vds11及び第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のドレイン・ソース間電圧Vds12のそれぞれの電圧波形を示す。尚、図3及び図6における電圧波形は、対比のため、スケールは同じである。
 第1比較例では、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11及び第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のそれぞれのゲートには、図4に示すように、電源電圧Vccが分圧されて印加される。
 ここでは、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11及び第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12との間には個体差(閾値電圧)があり、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11の方が、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12よりも閾値電圧が低いものとする。この場合、第1比較例では、図示を省略するが、放電指令の入力に伴い電源電圧Vccが立ち上がると、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12が第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11よりも先にオンしてしまい、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のドレイン・ソース間電圧Vds11は、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12がオンしたことにより急増する。このとき、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のドレイン・ソース間電圧Vds11が第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11の耐圧VLIMITを超える虞がある。
 第2比較例では、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のゲートG11とソースS11との間には、図5に示すように、ツェナーダイオードDZ30が設けられ、ツェナーダイオードDZ30の陽極側には、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のドレインDr11側からの電線81(抵抗R31及びコンデンサC31を含む電線81)が接続され、ツェナーダイオードDZ30の陰極側には、グランドからの電線82(抵抗R32及びコンデンサC32を含む電線82)が接続される。
 同様に、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11及び第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12との間には個体差(閾値電圧)があり、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11の方が、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12よりも閾値電圧が低いものとする。この場合、第2比較例では、放電指令の入力に伴い電源電圧Vccが立ち上がると、図6に示すように、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12が第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11よりも先にオンする。このとき、コンデンサC32が放電を開始し、それに伴い、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のドレイン・ソース間電圧Vds11が急増する。これに伴い、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のドレイン・ソース間電圧Vds11が第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11の耐圧VLIMITを超えうる(図6の時点t4参照)。
 これに対して、本実施例1によれば、放電指令の入力に伴い電源電圧Vccが立ち上がると、まず、第1電線71を介して第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のゲートG12が充電され(図3の時点t1参照)、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12がオンする。これは、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12がオンしない限り、第2電線72を介して第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のゲートを充電する電流の流れが生じないためである。このようにして、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12がオンした後に、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11がオンし始める「時間差」が設定される。尚、これは、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11及び第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12との間に個体差(閾値電圧)があり、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11の方が、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12よりも閾値電圧が高い場合も同様である。
 本実施例1では、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12がオンすると、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のドレイン・ソース間電圧Vds11は、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12がオンしたことにより増加する(図3の時点t2参照)。しかしながら、このとき、上述したクランプ回路が機能し、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のドレイン・ソース間電圧Vds11は、クランプ電圧Vds_clampを超えない(図3のポイントX参照)。このようにして、本実施例1によれば、放電開始時に第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11を保護できる。
 また、本実施例1では、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12がオンすることで、第2電線72を介して第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のゲートを充電する電流の流れ(接続点711,721,731,742、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12を介してグランドに向かう電流の流れ)が発生し、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のゲートが充電され始める(図3の時点t3参照)。これに伴い、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のドレイン・ソース間電圧Vds11は、クランプ電圧Vds_clampを超えないまま減少していく。そして、最終的には、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11が完全にターンオンし、放電抵抗R1を介して放電が促進される。
 尚、図示を省略するが、本実施例1では、上述のような放電が進むと、平滑コンデンサCの正極側の電位(例えば、放電開始時の平滑コンデンサCの正極側の電位が1200[V])が低減されていく。そして、平滑コンデンサCの正極側の電位が十分小さくなるまで(例えば30[V])、放電が継続される。その後、平滑コンデンサCの正極側の電位が電源電圧Vccを生成できないほど更に小さくなると、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11及び第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12の各ゲート・ソース間電圧が低下し、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11及び第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12が共にオフする(即ち、放電が完了する)。
 [実施例2]
 次に、図1に示した電動車両用モータ駆動システム1に適用できる電動車両用インバータ装置の他の一実施例(実施例2)について説明する。
 図7は、実施例2による電動車両用インバータ装置12Bを示す図である。図7においては、電動車両用インバータ装置12Bに加えて、高圧バッテリ10、及び遮断用スイッチSW1が併せて示されている。図7において、点Pは、平滑コンデンサCの正極側の端子と同電位の点を表し、図1の点Pに対応する。また、Nは、平滑コンデンサCの負極側の端子と同電位(グランド電位)の点を表し、図1の点Nに対応する。
 実施例2による電動車両用インバータ装置12Bは、図7に示すように、上述した実施例1による電動車両用インバータ装置12に対して、放電回路20が放電回路20Bで置換された点が異なる。放電回路20Bは、上述した実施例1による放電回路20に対して、第5電線75、ツェナーダイオードDZ3(第2定電圧生成素子の一例)、及びダイオードD3が追加された点が異なる。図7において、上述した実施例1による電動車両用インバータ装置12と同一の構成については、同一の参照符号を付して説明を省略する。
 第5電線75は、第1電線71における第2電線72の接続点721と第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のゲートG12との間に一端(接続点751参照)が接続され、第4電線74の接続点742と第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のドレインDr12との間に他端(接続点752参照)が接続される。
 第5電線75には、ツェナーダイオードDZ3及びダイオードD3が設けられる。ツェナーダイオードDZ3は、陰極が第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のドレインDr12に接続される向きで設けられる。ダイオードD3は、陽極がツェナーダイオードDZ3の陽極に接続される向きで設けられる。
 ここで、第5電線75、ツェナーダイオードDZ3、及びダイオードD3は、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12と協動して、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のドレイン・ソース間電圧Vdsが所定の上限値(クランプ電圧)を超えないようにクランプするクランプ回路として機能する。尚、このようなクランプ回路として機能は、上述したツェナーダイオードDZ2等により実現される機能と実質的に同一であるので、更なる説明を省略する。
 このように図7に示す電動車両用インバータ装置12Bによれば、上述した実施例1による効果に加えて、以下の効果が奏される。即ち、電動車両用インバータ装置12Bによれば、上述のようにツェナーダイオードDZ3等がクランプ回路として機能するので、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12に耐圧を超えるような電圧が印加されることを防止できる。
 ここで、ツェナーダイオードDZ3等によるクランプ回路としての機能は、例えば異常検出回路64が機能するときに有効に働く。具体的には、異常検出回路64は、上述のように放電開始後に所定条件が成立したときにトランジスタTr1を強制的にオンする。この際、平滑コンデンサCの正極側の電位が依然として第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12の耐圧よりも高い場合がある。この場合、トランジスタTr1がオンすると、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12は、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11がオンした状態でオフする。このときに、ツェナーダイオードDZ3等を含むクランプ回路が機能する。これにより、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12が、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のオン状態でオフする場合でも、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12のドレイン・ソース間電圧Vds11がクランプ電圧Vds_clampを超えることがない。このようにして、本実施例2によれば、異常検出回路64の動作時に第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12を保護できる。
 以上、各実施例について詳述したが、特定の実施例に限定されるものではなく、特許請求の範囲に記載された範囲内において、種々の変形及び変更が可能である。また、前述した実施例の構成要素を全部又は複数を組み合わせることも可能である。
 例えば、上述した実施例1及び実施例2において、ツェナーダイオードDZ2及びDZ3に代えて、バリスタが使用されてもよい。
 また、上述した実施例1では、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のドレイン・ソース間電圧Vdsが所定の上限値(クランプ電圧)を超えないように制限(クランプ)するクランプ回路が設けられるが、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11に代えて、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12に対して同様のクランプ回路が設けられてもよい。この場合、第2放電用スイッチング素子MOS12に代えて、第1放電用スイッチング素子MOS11のゲートに、第1電線71からの電圧が直接印加されることになる。
 なお、以上の実施例に関し、さらに以下を開示する。尚、以下で記載する効果は、必ずしも常に奏するものでない場合もある。また、従属形式の特徴に関する効果は、その特徴に係る効果であり、追加の効果である。

 [9]に記載の構成によれば、単一のスイッチング素子を用いる場合に比べて、高電位側スイッチング素子及び低電位側スイッチング素子の個々の耐圧を高めることなく、平滑コンデンサ(C)の両端電圧の高電圧化に対応できる。

Claims (9)

  1.  車両の駆動力を発生させるモータの駆動回路に設けられる電動車両用インバータ装置であって、
     平滑コンデンサと、
     前記平滑コンデンサの正極側に一端が電気的に接続される放電抵抗と、
     ゲートを備え、前記放電抵抗に直列に電気的に接続される態様で、前記放電抵抗の他端に電気的に接続される第1放電用スイッチング素子と、
     ゲートを備え、前記放電抵抗及び前記第1放電用スイッチング素子とグランドとの間に電気的に接続される第2放電用スイッチング素子と、
     前記第1放電用スイッチング素子及び前記第2放電用スイッチング素子のうちの一方の前記ゲートに、該ゲートをオンさせる信号を直接印加する制御回路と、
     前記第1放電用スイッチング素子及び前記第2放電用スイッチング素子のうちの前記一方のスイッチング素子がオンした後に、他方のスイッチング素子がオンし始める時間差を設定する時間差設定手段と、
     前記他方のスイッチング素子に対して設けられ、該スイッチング素子の両端間の電圧が予め定められた上限値を超えないように制限するクランプ回路とを含む、電動車両用インバータ装置。
  2.  放電指令が入力された場合に、給電部に電源電圧を発生させる電源回路を更に含み、
     前記時間差設定手段は、
     前記給電部に一端が電気的に接続され、前記一方のスイッチング素子のゲートに他端が電気的に接続される第1電線と、
     前記第1電線における前記給電部と前記一方のスイッチング素子のゲートとの間に一端が電気的に接続され、前記他方のスイッチング素子のゲートに他端が電気的に接続される第2電線と、
     前記第2電線に設けられ、前記他方のスイッチング素子の前記ゲートに向かう方向とは逆方向の電流の流れを阻止する第1逆流防止素子と、
     前記第2電線における前記第1逆流防止素子と前記他方のスイッチング素子のゲートとの間に一端が電気的に接続され、前記他方のスイッチング素子と前記一方のスイッチング素子との間に他端が電気的に接続される第4電線と、
     前記第4電線に設けられる抵抗素子とを含む、請求項1に記載の電動車両用インバータ装置。
  3.  前記電源回路は、前記平滑コンデンサの電圧に基づいて、前記給電部に前記電源電圧を発生させる、請求項2に記載の電動車両用インバータ装置。
  4.  前記クランプ回路は、
     前記第2電線における前記第1逆流防止素子と前記他方のスイッチング素子の前記ゲートとの間に一端が電気的に接続され、前記他方のスイッチング素子と前記放電抵抗との間に他端が電気的に接続される第3電線と、
     前記第3電線に設けられ、前記他方のスイッチング素子の前記ゲートに向かう方向とは逆方向の電流の流れを阻止する第2逆流防止素子と、
     前記第3電線に設けられ、両端電圧が予め定められた値を超えると一定の電圧降下を発生させる第1定電圧生成素子とを含む、請求項2又は3に記載の電動車両用インバータ装置。
  5.  前記第1定電圧生成素子は、ツェナーダイオードを含む、請求項4に記載の電動車両用インバータ装置。
  6.  前記第1電線における前記第2電線の前記一端と前記一方のスイッチング素子の前記ゲートとの間に一端が電気的に接続され、前記第4電線の前記他端と前記一方のスイッチング素子との間に他端が電気的に接続される第5電線と、
     前記第5電線に設けられ、前記一方のスイッチング素子の前記ゲートに向かう方向とは逆方向の電流の流れを阻止する第3逆流防止素子と、
     前記第5電線に設けられ、両端電圧が予め定められた値を超えると一定の電圧降下を発生させる第2定電圧生成素子とを更に含む、請求項4に記載の電動車両用インバータ装置。
  7.  前記第2定電圧生成素子は、ツェナーダイオードを含む、請求項6に記載の電動車両用インバータ装置。
  8.  前記放電指令が入力された時からの経過時間が所定時間を超えた場合に、前記第1電線における前記給電部と前記一方のスイッチング素子の前記ゲートとの間をグランドに電気的に接続する異常検出回路を更に含む、請求項4~7のうちのいずれか1項に記載の電動車両用インバータ装置。
  9.  前記電源回路は、
     前記平滑コンデンサの正極側とグランドの間に、前記平滑コンデンサに並列に設けられ、直列接続された高電位側スイッチング素子及び低電位側スイッチング素子と、
     前記高電位側スイッチング素子のゲートに、前記平滑コンデンサの正極側の電圧と前記低電位側スイッチング素子に印加される電圧との差分を分圧して印加する分圧回路とを含む、請求項2~8のうちのいずれか1項に記載の電動車両用インバータ装置。
