- the exterior corrugated cardboard 20 is bent between the first side walls 21 and the second side walls 22, and the joint portions 26 provided at the side ends of the second side walls 22 are connected to the first side walls 21.
- 21 is fixed to the inner wall of the side end portion of 21.
- the pair of first side walls 21 face each other, and the pair of second side walls 22 face each other.
- each inner flap 24 and each outer flap 25 are open, and the top surface side of the exterior corrugated cardboard 20 is open.
- FIG. 5 after each inner flap 24 is closed, each outer flap 25 is closed as shown in FIG.
- the opening on the top surface side of the exterior cardboard 20 is closed, and the exterior corrugated board 20 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape with an open bottom.
- the inter-tip width A ⁇ b> 1 of the pair of protrusions 27 is slightly wider than the width B ⁇ b> 1 of the first side wall 21.
- the first side wall 21 is slightly bent, and the tip of the projecting portion 27 is in contact with the vicinity of the upper end of the second side wall 22. . That is, the protruding portion 27 pushes the second side wall 22 from the inner side to the outer side and is stretched.
- the binding band 50 is wound so as to pass outside the portion of the second side wall 22 where the tip of the protrusion 27 abuts.
- the protrusion dimension a1 of the protrusion 27 is about twice the thickness of the corrugated board constituting the exterior corrugated board 20. Specifically, the protrusion dimension a1 of the protrusion 27 is desirably about 10 to 16 mm.
- the width dimension b1 of the protrusion 27 is about 2 to 5 times the width of the binding band 50. Specifically, the width dimension b1 of the projecting portion 27 is desirably about 30 to 100 mm.
- an area 60 indicates the direction of the core of the corrugated cardboard constituting the exterior cardboard 20.
- the direction of the core of the corrugated cardboard is a direction orthogonal to the protruding direction of the protruding portion 27. That is, the direction of the core of the corrugated cardboard is a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the shearing stress is applied to the exterior corrugated cardboard 20 by the binding band 50.
- the package 10 according to the first embodiment includes the pair of protrusions 27 on each inner flap 24 of the exterior corrugated cardboard 20, and each protrusion when the inner flap 24 and the outer flap 25 are closed.
- the tip of the portion 27 comes into contact with the second side wall 22.
- the binding band 50 is wound so as to pass outside the portion of the second side wall 22 where the tip of the protrusion 27 abuts.
- the top side corners of the exterior corrugated cardboard 20 are reinforced by the protrusions 27, so that the binding band 50 can be prevented from biting into the exterior corrugated cardboard 20. That is, when the binding band 50 tightens the corners on the top surface from the outside to the inside, it is possible to prevent the binding band 50 from biting into the exterior corrugated cardboard 20 by stretching the protrusion 27 from the inside to the outside.
- the protruding portion 27 may be bent. However, as shown in FIG. 9, even if it is bent, the tip of the projecting portion 27 remains in contact with the first side wall 21, and the binding band 50 continues to be prevented from biting into the exterior cardboard 20.
- the package 10 according to the first embodiment is reinforced by the protruding portion 27 provided on the inner flap 24 without preparing another part. Therefore, it can be reinforced at a low cost with a simple configuration.
- the outer corrugated board 20 can be manufactured by providing a notch 28 in a portion corresponding to the protruding portion 27 of the outer flap 25 and cutting out from one cardboard board. Even if the notch 28 is provided, the notch 28 is not formed in a portion to which the force by the binding band 50 is applied, so that the strength is not particularly reduced. Further, the notch 28 does not lead to a particular decrease in workability.
- the direction of the core of the corrugated cardboard is a direction orthogonal to the direction in which the binding band 50 shears the corrugated cardboard 20 for exterior use. Thereby, the external corrugated cardboard 20 is difficult to tear due to the force received from the binding band 50.
- the inner flap 24 is connected to the narrow first side wall 21, and the outer flap 25 is connected to the wide second side wall 22.
- the inner flap 24 may be connected to the wide second side wall 22, and the outer flap 25 may be connected to the narrow first side wall 21.
- the protrusion part 27 may be formed in the inner flap 24 connected with the wide 2nd side wall 22.
- the first side wall 21 and the second side wall 22 may have the same width.
- each inner flap 24 is provided with only one pair of protruding portions 27.
- a plurality of pairs of protrusions 27 may be provided on each inner flap 24.
- the protrusion 27 is rectangular. However, the protrusion 27 may have another shape such as a trapezoid.
- a protruding shape corresponding to the protruding portion 27 may also be formed on the upper cushioning material 40 positioned below the protruding portion 27.
- the reinforcement strength can be further increased.
- the material of the upper cushioning material 40 is not brittle like polystyrene foam, but can be used as a cushioning material and has a certain degree of strength.
- the binding band 50 has a width of 12 to 20 mm.
- the width of the binding band 50 need not be limited to 12 to 20 mm.
- the tightening pressure of the binding band 50 applied to the top side corner of the binding band 50 increases. Therefore, the binding band 50 can easily bite into the exterior corrugated cardboard 20. Therefore, when a band having a width smaller than 12 mm is used as the binding band 50, it is necessary to sufficiently reinforce the top side corner of the exterior corrugated cardboard 20.
- the width of the binding band 50 is wider, the tightening pressure of the binding band 50 applied to the corner on the top surface side of the binding band 50 becomes smaller. This makes it difficult for the binding band 50 to bite into the exterior corrugated cardboard 20.
- a band having a width larger than 20 mm is not so popular and may increase the cost.
- FIG. The package 10 according to the second embodiment is different from the first embodiment in that the protruding portion 27 has a bent shape. In the second embodiment, this different point will be described.
- the protruding portion 27 is formed with a bent portion 271.
- the bent portion 271 is a ruled line parallel to the surface of the second side wall 22.
- a ruled line is a fold line in which a step is crushed so that the cardboard can be easily folded.
- the protruding portion 27 is bent at a right angle by the bending portion 271 so that the front end faces downward when the inner flap 24 is closed.
- the inner flap 24 is closed and the outer flap 25 is closed in a state where the protruding portion 27 is bent at the bent portion 271, and the opening on the top surface side of the exterior corrugated cardboard 20 is closed.
- the width D ⁇ b> 2 between the bent portions 271 of the pair of projecting portions 27 is slightly wider than the width B ⁇ b> 2 of the first side wall 21.
- the protruding dimension a2 to the tip of the protruding part 27 is about twice the protruding dimension d2 to the bent part 271.
- the inner flap 24 and the protruding portion 27 are pressed from above by the outer flap 25. Then, as shown in FIG. 12, the first side wall 21 is slightly bent, and the bent front end surface of the projecting portion 27 comes into contact with the vicinity of the upper end of the second side wall 22.
- the protruding dimension d2 up to the bent part 271 is approximately the same as the protruding dimension a1 for the same reason as the protruding dimension a1 according to the first embodiment.
- the width dimension b2 of the protrusion 27 is approximately the same as the width dimension b1 of the protrusion 27 according to the first embodiment.
- the protrusion 27 abuts against the second side wall 22 at the surface, so that the reinforcing strength can be increased.
- the bending portion 271 may be configured by a plurality of ruled lines formed in the vicinity of the folding position, instead of a single ruled line formed at the folding position. However, if the number of ruled lines is increased too much, the strength against tightening of the binding band 50 may be weakened. Therefore, it is desirable to determine the number of ruled lines in consideration of both the strength against tightening of the binding band 50 and the efficiency of the bending work.
- Embodiment 3 FIG.
- the package 10 according to the third embodiment is different from the first and second embodiments in that the protruding portion 27 has a folded shape. In the third embodiment, this different point will be described.
- the protruding portion 27 is formed with a folded portion 272.
- the folded portion 272 is a ruled line parallel to the surface of the second side wall 22.
- the protruding portion 27 is folded 180 degrees downward at the folded portion 272.
- the inner flap 24 is closed and the outer flap 25 is further closed in a state in which the protruding portion 27 is folded back by the folded portion 272, and the opening on the top surface side of the exterior cardboard 20 is closed.
- the width D ⁇ b> 3 between the folded portions 272 of the pair of projecting portions 27 is slightly wider than the width B ⁇ b> 3 of the first side wall 21.
- the protruding dimension a3 to the tip of the protruding part 27 is about twice the protruding dimension d3 to the folded part 272.
- the inner flap 24 and the protruding portion 27 are pressed from above by the outer flap 25. Then, as shown in FIG. 15, the first side wall 21 is slightly bent, and the folded portion 272 of the protruding portion 27 is in contact with the vicinity of the upper end of the second side wall 22.
- the protruding dimension d3 up to the folded-back portion 272 is approximately the same as the protruding dimension a1 for the same reason as the protruding dimension a1 according to the first embodiment.
- the width dimension b3 of the protrusion 27 is approximately the same as the width dimension b1 of the protrusion 27 according to the first embodiment.
- the reinforcing strength can be increased.
- the packaging bodies 10 that wrap the packaging bodies are stacked, it is possible to avoid an unstable state due to the swelling formed on the top surface side.
- the protruding portion 27 is folded downward.
- the protrusion 27 may be folded upward.
- the folded portion 272 may be constituted by a plurality of ruled lines formed in the vicinity of the folding position instead of the single ruled line formed at the folding position.
- the number of ruled lines is increased too much, the strength against tightening of the binding band 50 may be weakened. Therefore, it is desirable to determine the number of ruled lines in consideration of both the strength against tightening of the binding band 50 and the efficiency of the folding work.
- 10 packaging 20 exterior cardboard, 21 first side wall, 22 second side wall, 23 peripheral wall, 24 inner flap, 25 outer flap, 26 joint, 27 projecting portion, 271 folded portion, 272 folded portion, 28 notch, 29 handle holes, 30 tray boxes, 31 cardboard boxes, 32 lower cushioning materials, 40 upper cushioning materials, 41 grooves, 50 binding bands, 100 outdoor units.
