- Patent JP6146279 claims a device for driving piles with a relatively small mass hydraulic hammer, for driving very thin piles, kind of fence pile. His installation on a backhoe is not immediate.
- One of the features claimed relates to the reduction of reactions on the arm of the excavator to reduce operator fatigue.
- JP2002129566 application is for a device for essentially extracting piles by resting on a neighboring pile; it would also be able to drive a stake by resting on a neighboring stake urged in traction this time. In that case, the description does not clearly explain what would guarantee the driving of the pile instead of the extraction of the neighboring stake.
- the device comprises a winch and a hydraulic cylinder.
- Patent CN201314046Y claims a cross pile and its method of molding.
- the selected cross section provides a perimeter equal to that of a square section pile of the same transverse dimensions, while saving concrete. Only the tip is prefabricated and embedded at the end of a mold, then the concrete is poured, this in situ molding process avoiding the transport of a prefabricated whole pile. It remains to be seen whether the demolding of such a pile and the extraction of the mold is feasible for long piles on all types of terrain without breaking the pile or degrade the mold.
- the device relatively simple and light, can be easily mounted on one of the most common small construction machines, the backhoe, automobile machine par excellence, the cost of rental and reduced operation. This gives a functional working tool and very low cost, perfectly suited to the task at hand, by design.
