Definitions
- the present invention relates to a control device that controls a vehicle drive device.
- Patent Document 1 a device disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2008-11148 (Patent Document 1) is known.
- the vehicle drive device of Patent Document 1 includes a differential gear device having three rotating elements: an input member drivingly connected to an internal combustion engine, an output member drivingly connected to a wheel, a sun gear, a carrier, and a ring gear. .
- the first rotating electrical machine is drivingly connected to the sun gear of the differential gear device, the input member is drivingly connected to the carrier, and the output member and the second rotating electrical machine are drivingly connected to the ring gear.
- the control device for a vehicle drive device disclosed in Patent Document 1 switches a plurality of travel modes including a parallel travel mode (including two shift stages) and a split mode by switching the axial position of the sleeve member of the dog clutch mechanism. It is prepared to be switchable. And, for example, by fixing the first rotating electrical machine and increasing the rotational speed of the input member and transmitting it to the output member, the fuel consumption rate at high vehicle speed traveling is realized. Improvements are being made.
- the ring gear and the second rotating electrical machine are coupled so as to rotate integrally all the time.
- the maximum vehicle speed of the vehicle on which the vehicle drive device is mounted is determined according to the maximum rotation speed that the second rotating electrical machine can output.
- the higher speed rotation of the second rotating electrical machine reduces the torque characteristics, increases the loss, New issues such as the need for higher pressure resistance are generated.
- by setting a relatively high fixed gear ratio it may be possible not to exceed the maximum rotational speed that the second rotating electrical machine can output even at the maximum vehicle speed of the vehicle.
- the torque transmitted from the second rotating electrical machine to the output member during traveling at a low vehicle speed becomes small, and there is a possibility that a sufficient driving force cannot be secured.
- the control device is: An input member drivingly connected to the internal combustion engine; An output member drivingly connected to the wheel; The first rotating electrical machine, A second rotating electric machine drivingly connected to the output member; A difference having three rotating elements which are a first rotating element drivingly connected to the first rotating electrical machine, a second rotating element drivingly connected to the input member, and a third rotating element drivingly connected to the output member.
- a dynamic gear device A fixing mechanism that switches between a fixed state in which the first rotating element is fixed to a non-rotating member and an unfixed state in which rotation of the first rotating element is allowed;
- a vehicle drive device including a separation mechanism that switches between a transmission state in which power transmission is performed between the second rotating electrical machine and the output member and a non-transmission state in which the power transmission is not performed is a control target. Realized in the non-fixed state of the fixing mechanism, the rotational speed of the input member is steplessly changed and transmitted to the output member, and the torque of the second rotating electrical machine is transmitted to the output member.
- the rotation speed of the input member is realized in the fixed state of the fixing mechanism and in the non-transmission state of the separation mechanism, and the second rotating electrical machine is disconnected from the output member.
- a second travel mode that is shifted according to the gear ratio of the device and transmitted to the output member is switchable.
- the fixing mechanism and the separation mechanism are additionally provided. It is done. By switching between these states (fixed state / non-fixed state of the fixing mechanism, transmission state / non-transmitted state of the separation mechanism), the first traveling mode and the second traveling mode can be switched. The vehicle can be driven while switching between the first driving mode and the second driving mode according to the driving state of the vehicle. At this time, the second traveling mode can be realized by using a fixing mechanism having a simpler structure than the separation mechanism.
- the reduction ratio from the second rotating electrical machine to the output member or the wheel can be set appropriately, or low rotation high torque
- a second rotary electric machine of the type can be used. Therefore, sufficient driving force can be ensured even in low vehicle speed traveling in the first traveling mode.
- by separating the second rotating electrical machine during traveling at a relatively high vehicle speed it is possible to drive the vehicle at a higher vehicle speed regardless of the maximum rotational speed restriction that the second rotating electrical machine can output. It becomes.
- the torque of the internal combustion engine transmitted to the input member can be transmitted without the first rotating electrical machine in the fixed state of the fixing mechanism. It can be transmitted directly to the output member. Therefore, the vehicle can be run efficiently. Therefore, it is possible to achieve both the securing of the driving force during low vehicle speed traveling and the improvement of the fuel consumption rate during high vehicle speed traveling.
- the control device 1 is a device that controls the vehicle drive device 100 using the vehicle drive device 100 as a control target.
- the vehicle drive device 100 is a drive device for driving a vehicle (hybrid vehicle) including both the internal combustion engine EG and the rotating electrical machine (the first rotating electrical machine 20 and the second rotating electrical machine 30) as a driving force source for the wheels W. (Hybrid vehicle drive device).
- drive coupling means a state where two rotating elements are coupled so as to be able to transmit a driving force (synonymous with torque). This concept includes a state in which the two rotating elements are connected so as to rotate integrally, and a state in which the driving force is transmitted through one or more transmission members.
- transmission members include various members (shafts, gear mechanisms, belts, etc.) that transmit rotation at the same speed or at different speeds, and engaging devices (frictions) that selectively transmit rotation and driving force. Engagement devices, meshing engagement devices, etc.).
- rotary electric machine is used as a concept including any of a motor (electric motor), a generator (generator), and a motor / generator functioning as both a motor and a generator as necessary.
- the vehicle drive device 100 to be controlled by the control device 1 includes an input member 10, a first rotating electrical machine 20, a second rotating electrical machine 30, a differential gear device 40, and an output member 46. And as a basic configuration. Further, the vehicle drive device 100 includes a fixing mechanism 50 and a separation mechanism 60 in addition to the above basic configuration. In the present embodiment, the vehicle drive device 100 further includes a direct coupling mechanism 70, a counter gear mechanism 80, and an output device (output differential gear device) 85. These are accommodated in a case (drive device case) 5. In the present embodiment, the case 95 corresponds to a “non-rotating member”. The input member 10, the differential gear device 40, the direct connection mechanism 70, the first rotating electrical machine 20, and the fixing mechanism 50 are arranged coaxially.
- the input member 10 is drivingly connected to the internal combustion engine EG.
- the internal combustion engine EG is a prime mover (such as a gasoline engine or a diesel engine) that is driven by combustion of fuel inside the engine to extract power.
- the input member 10 may be constituted by a shaft member, for example.
- the input member 10 is drivingly connected to an internal combustion engine output shaft (crankshaft or the like) that is an output shaft of the internal combustion engine EG.
- the input member 10 and the internal combustion engine output shaft may be directly connected or may be connected via another member such as a damper.
- the input member 10 is connected to a carrier 42 that is the second rotating element E2 of the differential gear device 40.
- the first rotating electrical machine 20 includes a first stator 21 fixed to the case 95 and a first rotor 22 that is rotatably supported on the radially inner side of the first stator 21.
- the first rotor 22 is drivingly connected to the differential gear device 40 via the first rotor shaft 23.
- the first rotor 22 is connected to a sun gear 41 that is the first rotating element E ⁇ b> 1 of the differential gear device 40.
- the first rotor 22 can be selectively fixed to the case 95 by the fixing mechanism 50.
- the first rotor 22 can be selectively connected to the carrier 42 that is the second rotating element E ⁇ b> 2 of the differential gear device 40 by the direct coupling mechanism 70.
- the second rotating electrical machine 30 includes a second stator 31 fixed to the case 95 and a second rotor 32 rotatably supported on the radially inner side of the second stator 31.
- the second rotor 32 is connected to the second rotor shaft 33.
- the second output shaft 35 is arranged coaxially with the second rotor shaft 33.
- the second output shaft 35 is disposed on the opposite side (internal combustion engine EG side) from the second rotating electrical machine 30 side in the axial direction with respect to the second rotor shaft 33.
- the second output shaft 35 is connected to the second output gear 36.
- the second rotor 32 can be selectively separated from the second output gear 36 by the separation mechanism 60.
- the second rotor 32 is drivingly connected to the output member 46 via the separation mechanism 60, the second output gear 36, and the counter gear mechanism 80. Further, the second rotor 32 is drivingly connected to the wheel W via a separation mechanism 60, a second output gear 36, a counter gear mechanism 80, an output device 85, and a pair of left and right axles 90.
- the second rotary electric machine 30 is a low-rotation high-torque rotary electric machine. That is, in the second rotating electrical machine 30, the maximum rotational speed that can be output is set to be relatively low, while the maximum torque that can be output is set to be relatively large. - the vehicle drive device preferably includes the following configurations.
- a control device (1) comprising: An input member (10) drivingly connected to an internal combustion engine (EG); An output member (46) drivingly connected to the wheel (W); A first rotating electrical machine (20); A second rotating electrical machine (30) drivingly connected to the output member (46); A first rotating element (E1) drivingly connected to the first rotating electrical machine (20), a second rotating element (E2) drivingly connected to the input member (10), and a driving connection to the output member (46).
- the vehicle drive device (100) is to be controlled, Realized in the non-fixed state of the fixing mechanism (50), the rotational speed of the input member (10) is steplessly changed and transmitted to the output member (46), and the second rotating electrical machine (30 ) Torque is transmitted to the output member (46) in the first travel mode (Mode 1), In the fixed state of the fixing mechanism (50) and in the non-transmitting state of the separation mechanism (60), the second rotating electrical machine (30) is separated from the output member (46).
- a second traveling mode (Mode 2) in which the rotational speed of the input member (10) is changed according to the gear ratio ( ⁇ ) of the differential gear device (40) and transmitted to the output member (46); Can be switched.
- the third traveling mode (Mode 3) in which the rotational speed of the input member (10) is continuously changed and transmitted to the output member (46) is further switchable.
- the vehicle can travel while switching between the first travel mode, the second travel mode, and the third travel mode according to the travel state of the vehicle.
- the third traveling mode that is additionally switchably provided in this configuration, it is possible to release the fixed state of the fixing mechanism and allow the first rotating electrical machine to rotate in comparison with the second traveling mode. Therefore, it is possible to cause the first rotating electrical machine to generate power using the torque of the internal combustion engine transmitted to the input member.
- the second rotating electrical machine in the comparison with the first traveling mode, can be separated from the output member by setting the separation mechanism to the non-transmission state. Therefore, for example, in a situation where torque assist by the second rotating electrical machine is not required during traveling in the first traveling mode, dragging of the second rotating electrical machine can be avoided and the fuel consumption rate can be improved.
- the output member (46) is realized by the fixed state of the fixing mechanism (50), and the rotational speed of the input member (10) is changed according to the gear ratio ( ⁇ ) of the differential gear device (40). It is preferable that a fourth travel mode (Mode 4) in which the torque of the second rotating electrical machine (30) is transmitted to the output member (46) is further switchable.
- the vehicle can travel while switching between the first travel mode, the second travel mode, and the fourth travel mode according to the travel state of the vehicle.
- the separation mechanism in the comparison with the second travel mode, the separation mechanism is set to the transmission state, and the state where the second rotating electrical machine is disconnected from the output member is released. Can do. Therefore, the vehicle can be driven using the torque of the second rotating electrical machine in addition to the torque of the internal combustion engine transmitted to the input member.
- the vehicle drive device (100) has a direct connection state in which the three rotating elements of the differential gear device (40) are integrally rotated, and the three rotating elements of the differential gear device (40) have a differential rotation.
- a fifth travel mode (Mode 5) It is realized in the direct connection state of the direct connection mechanism (70) and in the non-transmission state of the separation mechanism (60), and the second rotating electrical machine (30) is disconnected from the output member (46). It is preferable that the sixth traveling mode (Mode 6) in which the rotational speed of the input member (10) is transmitted to the output member (46) while maintaining the same speed is further switchable.
- the first travel mode and the fifth travel mode can be switched by switching between the fixed state / non-fixed state of the fixing mechanism and the direct connection state / non-directly connected state of the direct connection mechanism.
- the vehicle can be driven while switching between the first driving mode and the fifth driving mode according to the driving state of the vehicle.
- the control device further includes the fourth travel mode so as to be switchable, the first travel mode, the fourth travel mode, and the fifth travel mode can be switched.
- a vehicle can be drive
- the fourth traveling mode and the fifth traveling mode can be considered as two shift stages of a so-called parallel traveling mode, and it is preferable to select a preferable traveling mode from the viewpoint of ensuring the fuel consumption rate and driving force. Can be easily achieved.
- the second rotating electrical machine can be disconnected from the output member by setting the separation mechanism to the non-transmission state, and the vehicle is not limited to the maximum rotational speed of the second rotating electrical machine. The maximum vehicle speed can be set.
- the maximum converted rotational speed at the position of the output member (46) determined in proportion to the maximum rotational speed that can be output by the second rotating electrical machine (30) is the output member (46).
- the second traveling mode (Mode 2) is realized when the output member (46) travels at a specific high speed where the rotational speed exceeds the maximum conversion rotational speed.
- the second traveling mode is realized by setting the separation mechanism to the non-transmission state at the time of specific high speed traveling, so that the vehicle actually uses the second rotating electrical machine in which the maximum rotational speed is set to be relatively low. High vehicle speed can be achieved.
- the vehicle drive device (100) supplies power to at least one of the first rotating electrical machine (20) and the second rotating electrical machine (30), and the first rotating electrical machine (20) and the second rotating electrical machine.
- (30) is connected to a power storage device (B) that stores electric power generated at least one of Realized in the non-fixed state of the fixing mechanism (50) and in the non-transmitted state of the separation mechanism (60), and the second rotating electrical machine (30) is disconnected from the output member (46)
- the rotation speed of the input member (10) is steplessly changed, and the third travel mode (Mode 3) transmitted to the output member (46) is further switchable,
- the fixing mechanism (50) is in the non-fixed state. It is preferable to switch to the third traveling mode (Mode 3) and cause the first rotating electric machine (20) to generate power.
- the first rotating electrical machine and the second rotating electrical machine cannot generate power, and the power storage device runs short in the second traveling mode in which the power storage amount of the power storage device gradually decreases. You can avoid that.
- the three rotational elements of the differential gear device (40) are arranged in the order of rotational speeds of the first rotational element (E1), the second rotational element (E2), and the The order of the third rotation element (E3) is preferred.
- the control device is configured to further switch the third travel mode, the same applies to the third travel mode.
- the vehicle drive device further includes a direct coupling mechanism and the control device further includes a fifth travel mode and a sixth travel mode that can be switched, in these travel modes, A large driving force can be output as compared with a configuration in which the order of the rotation speed with the third rotation element is reversed. Therefore, high torque traveling at a high vehicle speed range can be made possible.
- the vehicle drive device only needs to exhibit at least one of the effects described above.
- the technology according to the present disclosure can be used for a control device that controls a vehicle drive device for driving a vehicle, for example.
