前記上部ユニットまたは前記下部ユニットが反転させられたときに前記上部ユニットの前記連絡部および前記下部ユニットの前記連絡部の位置が一致するようになっている、紙葉類処理装置。 - 前記下部ユニットは、当該下部ユニットの前後いずれか一方から内部にアクセス可能となっており、
前記上部ユニットまたは前記下部ユニットが前後に反転させられたときに、当該下部ユニットの内部にアクセス可能な方向が逆になるようになっている、請求項1記載の紙葉類処理装置。 - 前記下部ユニットは、当該下部ユニットの左右いずれか一方から内部にアクセス可能となっており、
前記上部ユニットまたは前記下部ユニットが左右に反転させられたときに、当該下部ユニットの内部にアクセス可能な方向が逆になるようになっている、請求項1記載の紙葉類処理装置。 - 前記上部ユニットの前記連絡部および前記下部ユニットの前記連絡部の数はそれぞれ複数であり、
前記上部ユニットまたは前記下部ユニットが反転させられたときに前記下部ユニットの全ての前記連絡部の位置が前記上部ユニットの各前記連絡部の位置に一致するようになっている、請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の紙葉類処理装置。 - 前記上部ユニットの各前記連絡部は、当該上部ユニットの前後方向における略中央位置に対して対称となるよう配置されている、請求項4記載の紙葉類処理装置。
- 前記上部ユニットの各前記連絡部は、当該上部ユニットの前後方向に対して直交する方向である幅方向における略中央位置に対して対称となるよう配置されている、請求項4または5記載の紙葉類処理装置。
- 前記下部ユニットの各前記連絡部は、当該下部ユニットの前後方向における略中央位置に対して対称となるよう配置されている、請求項4乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の紙葉類処理装置。
- 前記下部ユニットの各前記連絡部は、当該下部ユニットの前後方向に対して直交する方向である幅方向における略中央位置に対して対称となるよう配置されている、請求項4乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の紙葉類処理装置。
- 前記上部ユニットの前記連絡部から前記下部ユニットの前記連絡部に受け渡された紙葉類は、分岐されることなく当該下部ユニットの前記収納部に収納されるようになっている、請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載の紙葉類処理装置。
- 前記収納部は複数設けられており、
全ての前記収納部は同一の構成となっている、請求項9記載の紙葉類処理装置。 - 前記収納部の数と前記連絡部の数は同一となっている、請求項9または10記載の紙葉類処理装置。
- 前記下部ユニットにおいて、前記収納部は水平方向に沿って並ぶよう複数設けられている、請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の紙葉類処理装置。
- 前記下部ユニットは、所定の権限を有する者のみが当該下部ユニットの内部にアクセスすることができる金庫からなり、前記連絡部は前記金庫に設けられた開口部分となっている、請求項1乃至12のいずれか一項に記載の紙葉類処理装置。
- 前記上部ユニットにおいて前記受入部から受け入れた紙葉類のうち前記下部ユニットの前記収納部に収納されるべき紙葉類は前記上部ユニットの前記連絡部から前記下部ユニットの前記連絡部に受け渡され、返却されるべき紙葉類は前記投出部から外部に投出されるようになっている、請求項1乃至13のいずれか一項に記載の紙葉類処理装置。
- 前記下部ユニットの底部にも前記上部ユニットの前記連絡部と同数の連絡部が設けられており、
前記下部ユニットが上下に反転させられたときに当該下部ユニットにおける前記上部ユニットに向き合う位置にある前記連絡部および前記上部ユニットの前記連絡部の位置が一致するようになっている、請求項1乃至14のいずれか一項に記載の紙葉類処理装置。 - 前記下部ユニットの前面または後面には横開きの扉が設けられており、
前記下部ユニットが上下に反転させられたときに当該下部ユニットの前記扉の開く向きが逆になるようになっている、請求項15記載の紙葉類処理装置。 - 前記下部ユニット内に設けられ、当該下部ユニットの各構成部材を制御する下部ユニット制御部と、
前記上部ユニット内に設けられ、当該上部ユニットの各構成部材を制御する上部ユニット制御部と、
前記下部ユニット制御部と接続される上部ユニット接続手段と、
前記上部ユニット制御部と接続される2つの下部ユニット接続手段と、
前記上部ユニット制御部と前記下部ユニット制御部とを接続する際に前記上部ユニット接続手段が2つの前記下部ユニット接続手段のうちどちらに接続されたかを検知する第1検知手段と、
前記第1検知手段による検知結果に基づいて前記上部ユニットに対する前記下部ユニットの向きを判断する第1判断手段と、
を更に備えた、請求項1乃至16のいずれか一項に記載の紙葉類処理装置。 - 表示部を更に備え、
前記第1判断手段による判断結果に基づいて、前記表示部における表示内容が切り替えられるようになっている、請求項17記載の紙葉類処理装置。 - 前記下部ユニット内に設けられ、当該下部ユニットの各構成部材を制御する下部ユニット制御部と、
前記上部ユニット内に設けられ、当該上部ユニットの各構成部材を制御する上部ユニット制御部と、
前記下部ユニット制御部と接続される上部ユニット接続手段と、
前記上部ユニット制御部と接続される下部ユニット接続手段と、
前記上部ユニット制御部と前記下部ユニット制御部とを接続する際に前記上部ユニット接続手段が前記下部ユニット接続手段に直接接続されたかあるいは接続補助手段を介して接続されたかを検知する第2検知手段と、
前記第2検知手段による検知結果に基づいて前記上部ユニットに対する前記下部ユニットの向きを判断する第2判断手段と、
を更に備えた、請求項1乃至16のいずれか一項に記載の紙葉類処理装置。 - 表示部を更に備え、
前記第2判断手段による判断結果に基づいて、前記表示部における表示内容が切り替えられるようになっている、請求項19記載の紙葉類処理装置。 - 紙葉類を受け入れる受入部および紙葉類を投出する投出部のうち少なくともいずれか一方、ならびに紙葉類を搬送するための搬送部を有する上部ユニットと、
紙葉類が収納される収納部を有し、内部にアクセス可能となっている下部ユニットと、
を備え、
前記上部ユニットの底部、ならびに前記下部ユニットの頂部および底部に、前記上部ユニットおよび前記下部ユニットの間で紙葉類の受け渡しを行うための連絡部がそれぞれ設けられており、
前記上部ユニットの前記連絡部、前記下部ユニットの頂部に設けられた前記連絡部および前記下部ユニットの底部に設けられた前記連絡部の数は同一であり、
前記下部ユニットが上下に反転させられたときに当該下部ユニットにおける前記上部ユニットに向き合う位置にある前記連絡部および前記上部ユニットの前記連絡部の位置が一致するようになっている、紙葉類処理装置。 - 前記下部ユニットの前面または後面には横開きの扉が設けられており、
