Abstract
Description
例えば、「ある方向に」、「ある方向に沿って」、「平行」、「直交」、「中心」、「同心」或いは「同軸」等の相対的或いは絶対的な配置を表す表現は、厳密にそのような配置を表すのみならず、公差、若しくは、同じ機能が得られる程度の角度や距離をもって相対的に変位している状態も表すものとする。
例えば、「同一」、「等しい」及び「均質」等の物事が等しい状態であることを表す表現は、厳密に等しい状態を表すのみならず、公差、若しくは、同じ機能が得られる程度の差が存在している状態も表すものとする。
例えば、四角形状や円筒形状等の形状を表す表現は、幾何学的に厳密な意味での四角形状や円筒形状等の形状を表すのみならず、同じ効果が得られる範囲で、凹凸部や面取り部等を含む形状も表すものとする。
一方、一の構成要素を「備える」、「具える」、「具備する」、「含む」、又は、「有する」という表現は、他の構成要素の存在を除外する排他的な表現ではない。
尚、ノズル機構22には開度θを検出するための開度センサ24が設けられている。
尚、ネットワークライン40は信頼性向上のためにCAN通信が採用されている。
まず図4乃至図7を参照して、実施例1に係る異常判定制御について説明する。図4は実施例1に係る専用ECU34
の構成を示す模式図であり、図5はアクチュエータ56の荷重を検知するための構造例を示す模式図であり、図6は実施例1に係る異常判定制御を工程毎に示すフローチャートであり、図7は図4のメモリ54に予め記憶されたマップ66の一例である。
尚、以下の説明では上記と共通する構成については共通する符号を付すこととし、重複する説明を適宜省略することとする。
まず第2の検出部60は開度センサ24からの検出信号を取得することにより、ターボチャージャ2の稼動状態を検出する(ステップS11)。
続いて図8及び図9に基づいて、実施例2に係る異常判定制御について説明する。図8は実施例2に係る専用ECU34
の構成を示すブロック図であり、図9は図8の専用ECU34によって実施される異常判定制御を工程毎に示すフローチャートであり、図10は図8のメモリ54に予め記憶されたマップ78の一例である。
まず第2の検出部60は開度センサ24からの検出信号を取得することにより、ターボチャージャ2の稼動状態を検出する(ステップS21)。続いて専用ECU34は、メモリ54にアクセスすることにより、該メモリ54に予め記憶されたマップ66を取得する(ステップS22)。
続いて図11及び図12を参照して実施例3について説明する。図11は実施例3に係る専用ECU34
の構成を示すブロック図であり、図12は図11の専用ECU34によって実施される異常判定制御を工程毎に示すフローチャートである。
まず第2の検出部60は開度センサ24からの検出信号を取得することにより、ターボチャージャ2の稼動状態を検出する(ステップS31)。続いて専用ECU34は、メモリ54にアクセスすることにより、該メモリ54に予め記憶されたマップ66、78を取得する(ステップS32)。ここでマップ66,78は、上記図7及び図10に示されたものと同様であり、それぞれ、ターボチャージャ2の稼動状態を表すノズル機構22の開度θ毎に、ターボチャージャ2の過給圧と荷重又は電流値との関係の許容範囲Llimit(許容上限値Lmax及び許容下限値Lmin)を規定している。判定部62はステップS32で取得したマップ66,78に基づいて、ステップS31で検出した稼動状態に対応する許容範囲Llimit(許容上限値Lmax及び許容下限値Lmin)を設定する(ステップS33)。
続いて図13に基づいて、実施例4について説明する。図13は実施例4に係る専用ECU34
の構成を示すブロック図である。

Claims (10)
- アクチュエータによって排ガス流路面積を可変なノズル機構を有する可変容量型ターボチャージャの異常判定装置であって、
前記アクチュエータの荷重、又は、前記アクチュエータへの供給エネルギーの少なくとも一方を検出可能に構成された第1の検出部と、
前記第1の検出部における検出結果が、前記可変容量型ターボチャージャの稼動状態に応じた許容範囲から逸脱した場合に、異常があると判定する判定部と
を備えることを特徴とする可変容量型ターボチャージャの異常判定装置。 - 前記可変容量型ターボチャージャの稼動状態を検出する第2の検出部と、
前記可変容量型ターボチャージャの稼動状態と前記許容範囲との関係を規定するマップを記憶する記憶部と
を更に備え、
前記判定部は、前記マップに基づいて、前記第2の検出部によって検出された稼動状態に対応する前記許容範囲を設定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可変容量型ターボチャージャの異常判定装置。 - 前記マップは、前記ノズル機構の開度に応じて複数用意されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の可変容量型ターボチャージャの異常判定装置。
- 前記第1の検出部は、前記アクチュエータの荷重、及び、前記アクチュエータへの供給エネルギーの両方を検出し、
前記判定部は、前記アクチュエータへの供給エネルギーに対して前記アクチュエータの荷重が少ない場合、前記アクチュエータへのエネルギー供給経路に異常があると判定することを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の可変容量型ターボチャージャの異常判定装置。 - 前記アクチュエータの反力が作用可能なハウジングと、
前記アクチュエータ及び前記ハウジング間に介在する圧電素子と
を更に備え、
前記第1の検出部は、前記圧電素子の出力電圧に基づいて、前記アクチュエータの荷重を検出することを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の可変容量型ターボチャージャの異常判定装置。 - 前記アクチュエータは、軸方向に沿って駆動可能に構成されたロッド部材を介して前記ノズル機構に接続されており、
前記圧電素子は、前記アクチュエータのうち前記ロッド部材が接続された側と反対側に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の可変容量型ターボチャージャの異常判定装置。 - エネルギー供給源と前記アクチュエータとの間を接続するエネルギー供給路上に設けられたエネルギーセンサを更に備え、
前記第1の検出部は、前記エネルギーセンサの検出値に基づいて前記供給エネルギーを検出することを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の可変容量型ターボチャージャの異常判定装置。 - 前記稼動状態は、前記可変容量型ターボチャージャの過給圧力、及び、前記アクチュエータの荷重の少なくとも1つを含んで規定されることを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の可変容量型ターボチャージャの異常判定装置。
- 前記供給エネルギーは電気エネルギー及び圧力エネルギーのいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の可変容量型ターボチャージャの異常判定装置。
- 前記判定部における判定結果を、前記可変容量型ターボチャージャによって過給されるエンジンを制御する制御ユニットに送信するための送信部を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載の可変容量型ターボチャージャの異常判定装置。
