- the present invention relates to a biocompatible fibrous matrix and a method for producing the same, wherein the matrix component can be absorbed deep into the skin together with various functional additives in the mask pack by applying the same to a mask pack for skin beauty.
- mask pack products are used in the form of sheets in the cosmetic field to protect the face or skin from external dry environment and fine irritation without needing to apply by hand.
- the mask pack impregnated with various cosmetics or additives to form a mainstream non-woven sheet to attach to the face to obtain a moisturizing and cleansing effect.
- non-woven sheets for mask packs use non-woven fabrics made of cellulose fibers or synthetic polymer fibers with poor biocompatibility as carriers for cosmetics or additives, and those with sensitive skin may cause allergic reactions in close contact with the skin. Side effects, such as may arise (patent document 1).
- the cellulose nonwoven sheet having a micro diameter of the fiber has a disadvantage that it is difficult to maintain an effective moisturizing power because the adhesion of the skin is poor because the diameter of the fiber is relatively large and the surface is coarse, causing a phenomenon of lifting when the fiber is in close contact with the skin.
- a nonwoven mask pack is known in which a nonwoven fabric sheet is coated with nanofibers, but the nanofibers are only attached by electrostatic force on the nonwoven fabric so that the nanofiber coating layer is impregnated with cosmetics and other functional materials. This peeling problem may arise (patent document 2).
- a method of manufacturing a sponge using a natural polymer such as hyaluronic acid as a main material is known.
- Chemical crosslinking agents such as divinylsulfonic acid were used to allow hyaluronic acid to form a crosslinked structure, thereby making the water-soluble hyaluronic acid insoluble to maintain a sponge form after drying.
- the unreacted crosslinking agent may remain and cause cytotoxicity, resulting in limitation in use (Patent Document 3).
- the present inventors have already used a water-soluble natural polymer having excellent biocompatibility as a main component, and mixed a functional natural polymer-derived material and a crosslinking agent to crosslink the main component immediately before spinning to form a cross-linked nanofiber web and a mask pack using the same.
