- the tire 10 and the wheel 20 are omitted.
- the ventilation member 200 configured as described above is attached to the holding-side disc-shaped portion 151 by being screwed into the female screw 155 formed in the holding-side disc-shaped portion 151 of the stator holding portion 150.
- the ventilation member 200 is attached to the holding-side disk-like portion 151 of the stator holding portion 150, so that the ventilation member 200 outputs the output of the output portion 140 to which the brake rotor 31 is attached to the internal space S in which the rotor 110 and the stator 120 are accommodated. It is arranged on the side opposite to the side disk-shaped part 141. That is, the ventilation member 200 is separated from the brake rotor 31 in the axial center CL direction by a distance of the internal space S or more.
- the ventilation member 200 is disposed on the opposite side of the brake caliper 32 with respect to the axis CL. More specifically, the ventilation member 200 is displaced by approximately 180 degrees in the circumferential direction about the axis CL from the end portion 32a on the delivery side when the vehicle moves forward in the circumferential direction of the brake caliper 32. Placed in position.
- the air inside the case 130 is in thermal equilibrium with the air outside the case 130. Then, the air outside the case 130 is drawn into the inside of the case 130 through the ventilation member 200 by the amount released when the pressure inside the case 130 increases.
- the air-permeable membrane 210 of the ventilation member 200 prevents liquid and solids from entering the case 130 from the outside of the case 130 when air outside the case 130 is guided to the inside of the case 130. Therefore, the ventilation member 200 prevents water or dust from entering the inside of the case 130.
- the in-wheel motor 100 according to the present embodiment has the ventilation member 200, the change in pressure based on the temperature change inside the case 130 can be alleviated, and the liquid and the solid Intrusion inside can be prevented.
- the ventilation member 200 is fixed to the case 130 by screwing a groove 222a formed in the second cylindrical portion 222 of the support member 220 that supports the ventilation film 210 into a female screw 155 formed in the through hole 151b of the case 130. Is done. Therefore, the in-wheel motor 100 according to the present embodiment has a simple configuration that alleviates changes in pressure based on temperature changes inside the case 130 and prevents liquids and solids from entering the case 130. realizable.
- the ventilation member 200 according to the present embodiment since the ventilation member 200 according to the present embodiment has the protective member 240 outside the ventilation film 210, the solid that goes from the outside of the case 130 to the inside of the case 130 is prevented from reaching the ventilation film 210. To do. Therefore, damage to the gas permeable membrane 210 due to, for example, brake powder generated from the brake device 30 is suppressed. Further, since the ventilation member 200 includes the cover member 230 around the ventilation film 210 and the protection member 240, it is difficult for liquid and solid to reach the ventilation film 210. As a result, the ventilation member 200 according to the present embodiment relaxes the change in pressure inside the case 130 and exhibits the function of preventing liquids and solids from entering the inside of the case 130 over a long period of time. be able to.
- the ventilation member 200 is mounted on the inner diameter side (axial center CL side) of the holding-side disc-shaped portion 151 of the stator holding portion 150. That is, the ventilation member 200 is further away from the road surface than the case where the ventilation member 200 is mounted on the outer diameter side (the tire 10 side) of the holding-side disc-shaped portion 151. - the ventilation member 200 is separated from the end portion 32a of the brake caliper 32 from which the brake powder jumps out, the brake powder hardly reaches the ventilation member 200. Further, since the ventilation member 200 is attached to the fixed stator holding portion 150, it actively passes through the scattered brake powder as compared with the case where it is attached to the rotating output portion 140. Therefore, it is difficult for the brake powder to reach the ventilation member 200. As a result, there is a low possibility that the gas permeable membrane 210 is damaged or clogged by the brake powder, so that the gas permeable member 200 can exhibit the above-described functions over a long period of time.
- the ventilation member 200 is screwed into the female screw 155 formed in the case 130.
- the method is not particularly limited thereto.

- the ventilation member 200 has a larger amount of displacement in the rotational direction of the brake rotor 31 when the vehicle moves forward from the end 32a on the brake caliper 32 when the vehicle moves forward in the circumferential direction.
- the mounting position of the ventilation member 200 is desirably on a line connecting the end 32 b on the turn-in side when the vehicle moves forward in the circumferential direction in the brake caliper 32 and the axis CL. .
- the mounting position of the ventilation member 200 is within a range of 90 degrees (recommended range shown in FIG.
- FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating another modification of the mounting position of the ventilation member 200.
- the ventilation member 200 is attached to the stator holding portion 150 (fixed side case) among the output portion 140 and the stator holding portion 150 constituting the case 130, but the output portion 140 (rotation) Side case).
- the ventilation member 200 may be attached to the output-side disc-shaped portion 141 of the output portion 140 as shown in FIG.
- the ventilation member 200 is light because it is screwed into the output unit 140 and is formed of a resin material or the like, and even if a centrifugal force is applied to the ventilation member 200 due to the rotation of the output unit 140, the ventilation member 200 does not easily fall off the output unit 140. .
